BIRTHDAY CARD WITH DIE CUT FLOWERS

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.

Well at last it has rained in my part of Kent over night, as we were desperate for rain.
The grass was all dying everywhere as it hadn't rained for a long time here.

Today I have a card I made for the Allsorts Challenge.
Quite pleased with how this one turned out as I am still struggling with Mr Mojo as he is being quite lazy of late.
I think the old hot weather sizzled his brain. LOL.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
The coloured card is Hunkydory pearlised card, and isn't it a lovely colour.
The die I used for the white was a Tattered Lace Shabby Offset Square Die which I cut twice and cut apart to use as corners.
The Flowers are Tattered Lace Daisy Dies.

Thank you so much for you visit, and precious time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

RUDOLF DAYS CHALLENGE..............JUNE 2017

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.

Sorry I have been missing again I have spent a few days with family, and did some shopping as well.
Don't get out much these days so it was a real treat to spend time with my daughter, and she enjoyed our outings also, but it did leave me so tired.

As it's the 25th of the month again it's time for the Rudolf Days Challenge over at
As  always its' anything goes as long as it's Christmas.
Only one entry per person, and it runs from the 25th till the end of the month.
Maureen always has a lovely prize on offer to the winner.
As I am not a GD this month I have been told I can enter the challenge.
Now I made 2 cards and couldn't think which one to enter.
So I shall show both, but I'm only entering one.

The first card is a 6"x6" size.
The second one is an 8"x8" size.
The first I inked using DOI in Broken China, and Worn Lipstick to give it the colour.
Then I stamped and heat embossed it with white embossing powder.
The second I printed some freebie paper from C&C club download.
Such a lovely holly paper.
The image I coloured with Derwent pencils I have had for ages.
Die cut lots of fir branches to make a wreath, and glittered them.

Thank you for you visit, and time as I know time is precious to all of us.
Lots of crafty love. JENNY.

HUBBIES BIRTHDAY CARD

Hi and welcome to all my craft loving friends, and visitors.

Well are you all melting with this HOT! weather.
I have found a good way to cool down I run a flannel under cold water and lay it on my face and my neck, and you can't believe how that cools you down.
Never thought of it before, but I used to cool the children's temps when they were ill like that.
Try it if you haven't it really works well.

Today is my hubbies 78th Birthday, and this year I thought I would put Marilyn Munroe on his card as he has always loved her photos especially black and white ones as he used to take lots of photos at one time, and has always loved black and white photography.
So I won the Quirky challenge last month, and won $15 of digi images from Ike's Art and this was one I chose with Hubbies card in mind.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
The digi image is from Ike's Art.
The papers are a Cuddly Buddly download, but they were brown.
So light bulb moment hooray.
I printed it in brown, and then copied it in black and white.

Thank you so much for your visit, and precious time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

I know he has travelled quite a bit so this became the theme.

SNIPPETS THANK YOU CARD

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.

I have had a very busy week this week a little gardening done in small stages as not to hurt my back, and I organised a outing for the club I run where I live to Eastbourne on Wednesday.
Spent all day Thursday getting over it all.
I also have been having Mr Mojo issues he just doesn't want to work now it's hot again the little blighter.
So suddenly yesterday evening I had some snippets lying around my desk and blow me down Mr Mojo decided to work hooray.
So here is the card I made completely with snippets.

The image of the flower is the negative of a die cut I used a while ago.
I coloured some snippets for my background, and sprayed glued it, and then added some glitter.
Just added a permanent green pen to make the leaves, and stems darker.
Inked the edges with Cracked Pistachio DOI.
The pink die cut was also a snippet on my desk that I had cut out and not used.
Will be joining my friends at the Pixie's Snippets Playground with this.

Thank you so much for your visit, and precious time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

STITCHED FLORAL THANK YOU CARD

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.

I do hope you all are having a great weekend.

Well can you believe it I won the Allsorts Challenge again last week that's 2 weeks in a row, and about the 6th or 7th time since I have started to enter it.
I also was chosen as over all winner at the Quirky Crafts Challenge with my card that had the song Come on Eileen on it.
The same card was in the top 3 at the Frilly and Funkie Challenge also.
I feel very honoured and lucky as I am not so very lucky usually.

So today I have a card I made for the Allsorts Challenge with some of my new dies I bought with my winnings.

This is a 6"x6" size card.
The lovely floral paper was a bargain from B&M at £2-49 for 24 sheets of double sided papers that are 250GSM.
The stitched oval dies are one of my purchases from my winnings.
The mint green leaves were also one of my die  purchases too.
The flowers, and dark green leaves are TL mini dies.
Lastly I stamped thank you with a freebie stamp from a craft mag in Tuxedo Black Ink.

Thank you so much for your visit and precious time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

Please take a look at my lovely team mates super creations they made.

There is lovely prize of wonderful stamps  by John Lockwood that Wendy has donated, and you could be one of the top 3 chosen too.
We all love to see your wonderful
creations you  enter.

So onto my DT card.

This is a 8"x8" size card and box I made to match.
I started by painting my card with Starlight Paints in Agean, and Diamond colours.
This gave it a lovely pearlised sheen.
I embossed my background with a embossing folder that I had with my old E Bosser Die Cutting Machine.
I cut out 12 corners in the blue card for the outside and inside.
I die cut a circle frame and added some other die cuts around the inside edge.
Painted a wooden Happy Birthday and the 30 with the paints.
Lastly I added some flowers I made with some of the painted card.
Then I created my box to go with it.

Thank you so much for your visit.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

CHRISTMAS IN JUNE.......CARD

Hi and welcome to all my craft loving friends, and visitors.

Oh my goodness my heart goes out to everyone caught up in those tragic events of Saturday Night, and their families.
No words can express the deep sorrow I feel for them all.

This afternoon I had an idea for a card trying to take my mind off it for a little while by crafting.
So I made this card for the Allsorts Challenge, which I won last week, and won a £20 voucher to use at
If you have never shopped there I can highly recommend their products they stock.

This is a 6"x6" size card.
I started by cutting out a circle of white card, and then I stamped some fir branches in Pine Needles DI.
I then heat embossed it with Silver Pearl embossing powder which I have had for years.
Then I started to make my scene by ink dusting the sky and creating hills out of snippets of card.
Then I stamped the fencing in Tuxedo Black Ink, and the trees in Potting Soil Archival Ink.
I then used a used a Quickie Glue Pen to do my glittering for the snow.
Finally I added a wooden snowman not at all sure I should have added him.
Other than that I am quite pleased with this , and how it turned out.

Thank you so much for your visit.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.
