RUDOLF DAYS CHALLENGE..............JUNE 2017

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.

Sorry I have been missing again I have spent a few days with family, and did some shopping as well.
Don't get out much these days so it was a real treat to spend time with my daughter, and she enjoyed our outings also, but it did leave me so tired.

As it's the 25th of the month again it's time for the Rudolf Days Challenge over at
As  always its' anything goes as long as it's Christmas.
Only one entry per person, and it runs from the 25th till the end of the month.
Maureen always has a lovely prize on offer to the winner.
As I am not a GD this month I have been told I can enter the challenge.
Now I made 2 cards and couldn't think which one to enter.
So I shall show both, but I'm only entering one.

The first card is a 6"x6" size.
The second one is an 8"x8" size.
The first I inked using DOI in Broken China, and Worn Lipstick to give it the colour.
Then I stamped and heat embossed it with white embossing powder.
The second I printed some freebie paper from C&C club download.
Such a lovely holly paper.
The image I coloured with Derwent pencils I have had for ages.
Die cut lots of fir branches to make a wreath, and glittered them.

Thank you for you visit, and time as I know time is precious to all of us.
Lots of crafty love. JENNY.

ENCHANTED FOREST CARD

Hi and welcome to all my craft loving friends, and visitors.
Thank you so much for your visit, and your precious time.
I very much appreciate every visit, and comment.

Today I have a card I made with some of my lovely Graphic 45 papers from the Enchanted Forest Series.

This is a 8"x8" size card I made from black card.
The green shade of card is from Tonic, and distressed the edges with scissors.
The papers, and images are from the Graphic 45 Enchanted Forest 8" pad.
I painted some inside of cardboard with Starlight paints in the top right hand corner.
The leaves are die cut from black card painted with Starlight paints.
My mesh flowers had a plastic backing on them so I took that off to give them a messy look, and sprayed them with Phill Martin's Old Gold Shimmer Mist.
Sorry that doesn't show up too good in the photo.

Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges.

RUDOLF CHALLENGE SEPTEMBER 2016 ...........GUEST DESIGNER CARD

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.
Today starts another Rudolf Challenge over at
This month I am one of the Guest Designers for this wonderful challenge.
As usual it is anything goes as long as it's a Christmas Creation.
Please pop over to Scappymo's blog to see the lovey and wonderful designs my other GD have created.
The challenge runs from the 25th of the month to the end of the month.
So here is my GD creation.

This is a 8"x7" tent style card.
The red spotted paper came with the Hunkydory Large Christmas Decoupage kit.
The musical paper is from a DCWV
Butterfly Garden paper pad.
I inked the edges with Fired Brick DI.
I used part of the Choir boys decoupage from the kit, and dcoupaged them.
Then I made tag to go into the pocket I had created with the musical paper.
Lastly I made a poinsettia from Sizzex's Susan's Garden Poinsettia Die coloured it in with FBDI and Pine Needles DI for the leaves.
I then used some Gold Stickles in the centre of the leaves, and added some other die cut leaves to make up an arrangement.

Thank you so much for your visit, and I do hope you can join us with this super challenge.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

OLDIE FOR FRIDAY

Hi and welcome to all my craft loving friends, and visitors.
Sorry I didn't get around to commenting on every ones blogs yesterday and the day before, but I got so tired I fell asleep while at my computer.
My sister always says I can fall asleep anywhere, just don't sleep well at night so that's my excuse, and I take blood pressure meds which make me very sleepy some days, but strangely not at night.
Hopefully you will forgive my lack of commenting, but I will try hard to catch up today, and tomorrow.

Well I can't believe it's Friday already, and time to share and older creation with ERIKA HERE.
This is all just for fun, but a delightful way to show newer followers your work before they joined you.
So here is mine for this week I made this for the butterfly challenge a few years ago.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
I made this with a Hunkydory kit I bought about 4 years ago.
I die cut the leaves, and added stickles to them, and I also die cut the butterflies and inked them with a combination of DI to give them their different colours to match the card.

Thank you so much for your visit, and time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

I will be looking after my Grand Children so I am scheduling this post.

So here is what I designed for this challenge.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
I embossed the orange center piece with the Spellbinders M-Bossabilities folder Enchanted.
I cut the leaves from Spellbinders
Fall Foliage Die, and coloured them with Rusty Hinge DI, and Archival Ink Potted Soil.
The sentiment is stamped with potted soil too.

Thank you so much for your visit,
and time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

ANOTHER CHRISTMAS CARD MADE.

Hi and welcome to my part of blog land all my
friends, and visitors.
Well as I can now tell you a secret I had to keep
for a week, but if you belong to the Create and Craft Club you may already know that they chose
me to be their first Club Crafter of the Month.
I had been sending in photos of some of my cards
for the Spellbinders Gallery and the Tattered Lace
Gallery, and they asked me if I would like to be
their first Club Crafter of the month, of course I
said yes, and I got a £20 credit for doing it.

On to my card for today, this a Christmas one I
have just finished.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
The patterned card was from Hobbycraft.
I used the Sue Wilson Austrian Die Innsbruck.
The pine cones and the fir branches, are Spellbinders Fall Foliage, and I did shape them,
but they look flat in the photo.
I stamped the sentiment, and also stamped the
ivy around it.

Thank you for your visit, time and the wonderful
comments you make.
Lots of crafty love.

BUTTERFLY CHALLENGE AND SNIPPETS CARD

Hi and welcome to my blog all my craft loving
friends, and visitors.

I do hope you are enjoying your weekend, and
the weather is being kind to you.
We have beautiful sunshine and blue skies, here
in the East of Kent, but it was a quite a  chilly
start to the morning.

I am feeling a lot better now, it must have been
some sort of bug I picked up, and I don't very
often suffer with those.
I also had a phone call from the hospital
offering me another appointment, and guess
what it was for Monday, so I had to decline it.
Just waiting for another one now.

I needed to make a card for the butterfly
challenge, and the theme this fortnight is
Autumn Butterflies, so here is my effort.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
The card and image used is a Hunkydory
Autumn Butterfly one from about 3 years ago.
The image came in 3 sections so I used
mounting foam on the center piece to raise it up,
but it doesn't show in the photo.
I cut out my butterflies and coloured them with
Rusty Hinge, Pine Needles, DI, and also
Archival Ink Potting Soil.
I added some gold stickles to them too.
I also cut out my leaves, with some snippets card,  and distress inked some, and used stickles and Cosmic Shimmer Iced Snow Glitter on them.
The inside corners were made from the left
over pieces of the front corners, and one I had
used before.

Thank you so much for your visit and the
wonderful comments you make.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

I would like to enter the following challenges.

65th BIRTHDAY CARD

Good morning dear blog friends and visitors.
I do hope you all had a great and happy festive time these last
few days.
THANK YOU for all your wonderful festive wishes.
I had a wonderful Christmas.

My card today is a commissioned one I made for a lady that
attends my little club, her son was 65 on Christmas Eve.
I hope you like it.

Click on the photo to enlarge the picture.

Now the inside.

This card is an A5 size deckle edged.
Matted with with paper from my pad of Dessert Blooms paper.
The other side of the paper was plain colour which I added to
the bottom of the card both inside and out.
I printed my sentiment on the computer and cut it out with
the Spellbinders Labels 24 Die, and then inked round the edges
while still in the die with Tea Dye Distress Ink.
I added some different colour card to each edge of the label.
I also finished off the bottom of the card with Die bits from
the Spellbinders Fall Foliage Die and glittered the edges.
I added a couple of corners from the Marianne Creatables
corner die.
Thank you again for your visit.
I hope you all have a fabulous Friday, and manage to slot some
craft into your day.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.
