It's time for another fortnights challenge over at
Our lovely Hazel is your host for this challenge, and she would like to see Texture on your entries please.
The challenge runs till Wednesday the 29th of August and closes at 6PM.
We love to see your lovely, and varied entries, even though there is no prize only a chance to be in the top 3.
So here is what I made for my DT.
I bought a blank canvas ages ago to create something, and never got around to using it.
So I thought for this challenge it would be good to use it.
I painted the canvas with black gesso firstly, and then glued lots of different texture pieces to it.
There is a mixture of cardboard, leaves,crochet pieces, braid,flowers, stones, and wood on this, and then I painted it all with Starlight Paints, and then I used some bronze wax on top of it.

Oh my, Jenny, this is amazing! you've certainly got lots of texture, and your imagination at adding the various embellishments is just splendid. The lovely patina you've achieved with the paints, and the bronze wax is just so wonderful. You must have had such fun with all the processes you went through to create this marvelous piece!
