The weather in my part of Kent has been very glorious for most of this week so far.
I do so hope it's the same wherever you may live.
I have a card today to post for the Allsorts Challenge which this weeks theme is feathered friends.
This is a 6"x6" size card.
Now the super lovely colour for my matt layer and inside I made by first blending DOI Worn Lipstick, and then Blueprint Sketch over the top which gave me this lovely rich colour.
I stamped my Bullfinches with Archival Ink and coloured them with Derwent Water Colour Pencils.
I decided to stamp a pattern onto my top layer with DOI Blueprint Sketch, and Broken China.
All stamps were freebies from Creative Stamping magazine.
Added Wendy L's wonderful butterflies also.

A beautiful card Jenny and I like how you've placed the birds in the aperture, lovely colours too. We've definitely had better weather here in Yorkshire this week and it's dried the washing, so that's a good sign. Hope you're keeping well and happy x

I like that lovely deep and rich colour you've blended with Oxides, it looks so good. The vellum butterflies look right at home on your card x

Wow! This is stunning Jenny! I love that stamp, it makes a nice background. I also love the pretty little flower and leave die you used for the center for the birds as well as the frame. So pretty! Love the color combo too. But then I get to the inside and as if the outside wasn't stunning enough, the inside is amazing too! I love that rich color you got by combining the inks and then the stamping. This is an amazing card! Hugs, Brenda

I am sat here ooing and arring over this beautiful card . I love the finish insde. Finally feel like I'm getting somewhere with our no internet saga as the service provider for the first time ever has agreed to send out an engineer to see what's what or what's not as the case may be.
