GRANDSON'S 30th BIRTHDAY CARD

Hi and welcome to all my very talented, and craft loving friends.

Now don't faint, but I have another card again today.

I told you I have made so many lately as I have a big family. 

In the middle of this month it was my Grandson's 30th Birthday.

Well I think we all struggle with the male makes, so while visiting my dear blog friend Jackie T she showed a lovely card made with this die I have used so I just had to buy it as it will be so useful.

I have made cards before with a bottle on but had to use a template to make them, and as my eyes are not so good any more so I just had to have this die.

This is an A4 size card.

The bottle die is a John Lockwood Die.

You get the glasses die with this too.

I cut the glasses in white card, and coloured the drink with promarkers, and then I sprayed them with the Crafters Companion Spray and Sparkle Pearl Diamond which gave them a glitzy glass look which I am not sure shows up on here.

A few drops of stickles for the bubbles.

ELLIE'S OTHER BIRTHDAY CARD.

I do hope everyone had a super weekend.

Today is my Great Granddaughter Ellie's 8th Birthday, and here the card I made for her.

This is a 8"x8" size card.

The image of the sneakers I got from the Internet and coloured and glittered about 3 years ago, and never used it.

So I suppose you can say it's a Snippet I hope so. as I will be joining my friends at the Pixie's Snippets Playground. 

Papers are a download can't remember where from.

The sweet flowers are Tattered Lace Flexi Frames Jasmine die, and charisma download.

ELLIES BIRTHDAY CARD

It's wet here in my part of Kent, and little cooler thank goodness.

Today I have a card I made for my daughter to give Ellie her Granddaughter.

Ellie loves the LOL Dolls.

So this what I came up with.

This is a 8"x8" size card.

The LOL ribbon I got from eBay.

Placed 2 die cuts in different colours for the edge of the sentiment die cut, and I think it turned out a lovely pattern.

Spotty paper a download from C&C for Tattered Lace.

Well as it's the 25th of the month and time for the 

RUDOLF DAYS CHALLENGE 

over at Scrappymo's Blog.

As always it's anything goes as long as it's Christmas.

One Entry Per Person.

There is always a lovely prize on offer for the winner which Maureen funds herself.

The challenge runs from today till the end of the month.

So here is my DT card fro this month.

  

 This is a 8"x8" size card.

I decided to make a shaker design this time around.

I started with plain white card stock and embossed with a embossing folder from Crafters Companion.

I then sprayed it with Crafters Companion Spray and Sparkle Diamond Pearl to give my card stock a pearlied sheen, and it shows up the embossing lovely.

I left the front card stock plain, but put an embossed piece behind my shaker design.

White holly leaves I have had for many moons, the Merry Christmas and the white, and silver Reindeer are from the Works.

I love how the Merry Christmas just floats on the acetate.

ANNIVERSARY CARD

2 Days in row posting that's unusual for me lately, but I have quite a few cards I have made to show.

Today's card is a Anniversary card I made for my sister and her husband it was their 56th wedding anniversary.

This is a 8"x8" size card.

The die cuts are Lemon Verbena from Tattered Lace which were a bargain price.

 I made a mistake putting a Crafters Companion glitter pen over the flowers as it didn't photograph well, but in RL it looked much better.

We had much needed rain last night as my water butt was empty.

Today I have a card I made for my Daughter's Birthday at the beginning of July.

As I haven't made her an Egyptian design for a few years this is what I made.

WEDDING CARD AND BOX

Sorry I have been missing for so long as you know I have a large family with lots of cards to make for, either Birthdays or Anniversaries, and also ones my family want for themselves to give.

So today I have a Wedding card and box I made fro my Daughter's fiance's Nephew.

This is a 8"x8" size card and box I made to fit it.

The bridesmaids wore grey so I used grey pearlised card on my design.

The couple getting married are a singing duo, and he plays the guitar too so I put the music notes on the design.

BITTERFLY CHALLENGE CARD

Hi and welcome to all my very talented, and craft loving friends.

I was making an Anniversary card for my sister yesterday, and the snippets left over I thought would be brilliant for the current Butterfly Challenge as the colours in the paper snippets were just right.

This is a 5"x7" size card.

The paper is a download from Tattered Lace that came with the Lemon Verbena collection.

I managed all the items required except one as I did not have an Hexagon.

I believe there is Hunters Green in the leaves, Hot Pink in the ribbon on the tag, Helliotrope on the paper also, Heat Embossed sentiment, and of course my Butterfly.

BIRTHDAY CARD WITH A SPORTING THEME

Hi and welcome to all my very talented, and craft loving friends.

Sorry I have not been around much lately.

Today I have a Birthday card I made for my Granddaughter's husband who does this sport, and I can't remember the name of the sport silly me.

This is a 8"x8" size card.

 The image I found on the Internet.

My Granddaughter actually thought it was a photo of her husband when she saw it.

On another note my Granddaughter always goes to Ascot Ladies day every year, and I show a photo of her every year at the event.

She wore a lovely culotte suit by Karen Millen this year, and she has just the figure to show it off.

She had to have it taken up a little, but guess who got the job of pressing it the day before.

Needles to say I used a cloth to iron it as I didn't want spoil such an expensive outfit.
