A CHRISTMAS CARD

Good morning friends and visitors.
I hope this morning finds you bright eyed and bushy tailed.
May I say a big welcome to my new follower, and thank you
for choosing my blog.
THANK YOU also  for all your wonderful comments.
I really do appreciate everyone that is made, by you very
talented crafty people.

Well after visiting lots of blogs and seeing the lovely array of
Christmas cards that are about, I started getting in a bit of a panic
as I haven't made many so far.
So here is one I have just made, so that's another one off the
list. lol.
I hope you like it.

Click on the photo to enlarge the picture.
 Now the inside.

This card is an 8x8 size.
Matted with dark red card and some Christmas papers.
The image was a freebie off the internet, and coloured in with
Promarkers.
I added some Flower Soft Polar white for the snow.
A bit of lace a ribbon and one of my stick pins I made.
The die cut round the image is the center of the Spellbinders
Ornate cross.

Thank you again for your visit.
I hope you all have a very wonderful Tuesday.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY IN TEAL AND SEA GREEN

Hi and another good morning to all you wonderful craft loving
people and visitors.
I hope this post finds you all fit and well, and not suffering from
any of the nasty bugs about. If you are my sympathy is with you.
THANK YOU for all your wonderful get well wishes.
You are such a fabulous caring community.

I would like to say a big thank you also for your comments.
Everyone is greatly appreciated.

My card today is one that was shown on the creative harmony
blog, by the lovely Linda Burrows when I didn't have a blog
and I used to send her my cards and she very generously
showcased them for me.
I thought I would post it on here as there might be  some new
followers who might not have seen it.

Click on the photo to enlarge the picture.

Sorry I didn't  photo the inside but I wish I had  because it
looked the same as the front without the flowers  and ribbon.
This card is an 8x8 size.
Matted with teal glitter card and sea green pearlised card.
I embossed the white pearlised card with the Enchanted
M-Bossability folder.
I added some flowers made with the Spellbinders Crosss Dies.
I basically cut away the cross parts and put them behind the
sentiments.
Finished it off with a ribbon and a bow.
Thank you again for your visit.

Have a wonderful crafty Thursday everyone.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

ALMOST WHITE CHALLENGE CARD

Hi,
and welcome to all my lovely blog friends and visitors.
THANK YOU for all your lovely comments.
I get really excited reading each one,
and
your comments mean a great deal to me.
Every day now I am doing the happy dance after reading them.
My card today is one I would like to enter into The Nearly White
Challenge at Creative Harmony's blog.
So here it is, I have left the sentiment off it as I'm not sure for
what occasion I would use this card yet.

Ingredients for this is:
5x5 card size Centura Pearl  Snow White card embossed with the
Spellbinders M-Bossabilities So Trendy.
I cut 9 Spellbinders Fancy Crosses and cut away the cross elements.
I interlocked them together and glued them.
Put a light green flat back pearl into the centre of each.
Then I finished off the card with some small bitty flower sequins
in an iridescent pink.
I hope you like it.
It was a bit fiddly to do but worth it in the end.
What do you think?
Thank you again for your visit and comments.
Have a wonderful crafty Thursday everyone.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny.

TEA AND CAKE CHALLENGE

Hi and good morning to all my lovely blog friends.
THANK YOU for your lovely comments yesterday, especially
the wonderful ones on my sister's jewellery making skills.
I know she is very pleased with them so thank you on her behalf.
Well it's Saturday again, and hasn't this week gone by very quick.
Or is it just me slowing down because of my age. lol.
My card today is one I made yesterday for the Tea and Cake
Challenge at The Emergency Crafters.

The card is an 8x8 matted and layered with aubergine card stock,
and some glitter paper I bought from C and C quite a few years ago. The check and the stripe paper were a freebie with a card
making magazine. I put some thick purple ribbon with lace on top
in the centre. The lace has holes in the centre so I threaded another
slightly different colour narrow ribbon through it. The Birthday
Cake digi image is from The Scrapbook Society. The tea cup digi
image is a freebie off the internet. They are both coloured in with
Promarkers, then I glittered round the images with glitter glue.
Then I put glue and crystal glitter on the flowers and candles.
I made a little flower arrangement with cherry blossoms from
WOC and some from my stash. I added a lacy bow and some flat back flower pearls from my stash also, and oh I nearly forgot the
design round the oval image is the centre of the Spellbinders Ornate Cross, cut in half and glued to the back to give it a pretty
frame.
I hope you like my entry and thank you for visiting me again.
Have a great crafty Bank Holiday weekend everyone,
Lots of crafty love. Jenny Lawrence.
