SORRY YOU ARE LEAVING CARD AND BOX

Hi, and welcome to all my very talented, and craft loving friends.

Sorry I forgot to mention yesterday that I have family staying for the weekend so will find it hard to comment till Sunday so hopefully I can catch up then.

Here is a card and box I made for one of my Daughter's colleagues that was leaving to live up north.
She loves Handbags , and the colour Pink so this is what I made.

The Handbag opens up like this.

Lots of little cards inside for all to write their best wishes for the future.

This is a 8"x8" size card and box I made to fit it.
The Handbag image and design are from CraftsUprint, I just added some ribbon to the handle.
A Flower spray to the front of the bag.
I made the black antenna on the butterflies by adding black micro beads to a stamen.

Thank you so much for your visit, and precious time.
I always love to read your wonderful comments.

BIRTHDAY CARD WITH A SPRING IMAGE

Hi, and welcome to all my very talented, and craft loving friends.

I have just been away at my sister's in Wales for 2 days.
Couldn't stay any longer as I don't like to leave hubby too long as he is still not at the stage health wise that I can leave him for long.
Got back late last night so sorry if I haven't been to visit for a couple of days.

I made this Birthday card for my DIL in January, and haven't shown it yet, and as it has a Spring flower image on it I will be joining the Allsorts challenge with it.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
The card stock is Hunkydory and the paper inside is from Hunkydory 8"x8" paper pad.
I love the apple green freshness of this card.
I noticed after I photographed it that the top corner hadn''t stuck too well so that was sorted before I posted it off.
Sentiment computer written.

Thank you so much for your visit, and precious time.
I really appreciate every visit , and comment.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

RUDOLF DAYS CHALLENGE.......FEBRUARY 2019

Hi, and welcome to all my very talented, and craft loving friends.

Well it's that time of the month again for the
The challenge runs from today the 25th to the end of the month.
As always it's Anything Goes as long as it's Christmas.
Maureen has a wonderful prize for the winner too.

So here is my DT card I made for last month, but unfortunately it was cancelled due to Maureen having to go into hospital for a Knee OP which was also cancelled.
She is now on a lovely cruise so I hope she is enjoying it after the disappointment of her op being cancelled, and not in too much pain with that knee.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
The super tag on the front is from a couple of years ago when I joined in Loll's 12 tags for Christmas, and so I decided to make it into a Christmas card to use up the Tags so you will be seeing more Christmas cards with Tags on in the coming months so they don't get wasted.
The paper used was from a Christmas pad from the Works which is 12x12, and I used a linen textured gold card stock as well.
The tag was made up of lots of different items the ribbon was coloured with Imagination Crafts
Starlight Metallic Paint Topaz.
I used the same paint on some card which Stamped the word Noel with Stazon Ink.

Thank you so much for your visit, and precious time.
I really appreciate every visit, and comment.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

SPRING FLOWERS CARD

Hi, and welcome to all my very talented, and craft loving friends.

What a gorgeous day it has been in my part of the country, and it sure did feel like Spring.

Went out to lunch today so no cooking or washing up to be done Hooray, so instead I made some cards for a few challenges.

Woohoo I won the Allsorts Challenge last week my first win of the year.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
The lovely Spring papers are from Creative Crafting Paper Boutique 8"x8" size pad.
The pretty die cut around the circles in the front is also a Creative Crafting Paper Boutique Die.

Will be back tomorrow with the Rudolf Challenge post.

Thank you as always for your visit, and precious time.

BUTTERFLY CHALLENGE NO 117....TWOFER CHALLENGE NO 13 ...STARS

Hi, and welcome to all my very talented, and craft loving friends.

I really enjoyed my new singing group it's small but very friendly, and we hope more people will join us soon.

I was inspired by Mrs A's
post in which she posted some more inspiration for the Butterfly Challenge, and this gave me an idea for another card for the challenge.
I also have made a second card so I can join in the TWOFER CHALLENGE NO 13 over at Darnell's.
The Male Birthday Card was inspired by a card made by my friend Christine HERE

So here is what I made.

  These are 6"x6" in size.
I used lots of the Snippets left over from my last card for the Butterfly one, and no Snippets on the second one.
I think I have used all 7 elements yet again for the Butterfly one.

Thank you so much for your visit, and precious time.
I really love to read your wonderful comments.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

I would like to enter the following challenges with these.

BUTTERFLY CHALLENGE NO 117...

Hi, and welcome to all my very talented, and craft loving friends.

Some of you may remember I used to belong to singing group which folded because our keyboard player sadly passed away.
Well today I am off to join another singing group for the first time as I have missed my singing.
I always have music on while I am crafting, and sing along with what ever I am listening too.
Feeling a little nervous at meeting new people though.

Yesterday I made a card to join in with the Butterfly Challenge, and also Wendy our Team Leader over at MAWTT has a challenge on F/BOOK too, so that inspired me to make this card for both the challenges.

This is a A5 size card I made from folding and A4 piece of card stock.
Now the Butterfly Challenge has 7 elements on the wheel, and I have used them all.

I have used Amber, Almond, Apple Green, Aperture, Acetate, and Anything which is my leaves, and of course my Butterflies which Wendy our Team Leader over at MAWTT makes.
Had trouble with the Almond colour so I inked a piece of card to the colour.

Thank you so much for your visit, and precious time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

BIRTHDAY CARD WITH COOKING ELEMENTS.

Hi, and welcome to all my very talented, and craft loving friends.

I do hope everyone is having a lovely weekend.
The sun is shinning beautifully in my part of Kent, so I do hope it's the same where ever you may live.

A new challenge started over at the Allsorts challenge yesterday, and the theme is cooking, and baking so I made this card so I could enter.
No idea who it will be for though.
I expect it will go into box of cards for later when it's needed.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
The paper is a Dovecraft one from a 8"x8" pad.
The apron is from a template which was a lot larger, and I just re sized it.
Then I cut it out of some gingham paper by hand.
On the front cover of the pad of paper it had cooking items which I fussy cut out to go on the apron.
The flowers were stamped and cut out of Snippets of card, and also the leaves were die cut too from Snippets.
So I will be going over to the Snippets Playground with this.

A little tip that some of you may not know about.
When I cut out my die cut words I use an old cereal packet for the base layer of the words, as this means instead of cutting out about five to make them stand out you only need to use 2.

Thank you so much for your visit, and precious time.
It really is appreciated.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

MOVING ALONG WITH THE TIMES DT.........A LITTLE SHABBY CHIC

Hi, and welcome to all my very talented, and craft loving friends.

It's time for another challenge over at
It's the B Teams turn,  and the lovely June chose this theme, but unfortunately she is not well so Wendy our Team Leader is your host.
So here is hoping June is fit, and A1 again soon sending lots of love and hugs to try , and help.
The challenge runs from today till Wednesday 26th of February, and closes at 6PM GMT.

So here is what I made a few weeks ago ready for this challenge.

This is a 5"x7" tent style card I made by gluing the back.
I distressed the edges of my paper I used, which was from a 12x12 pad from B&M.
I used cardboard and glue to give depth between the layers instead of foam tape as this saves on tape.
I use Cosmic shimmer PVA Glue for this as it holds perfectly.
Then I added lots of different layers of doilies, crochet ones and paper ones.
Some lace, ribbon, and organza flower lace to the centre.
Finally adding a lovely lace butterfly, and flicking white watered down white gesso all over.
I really love making this type of card.
Please pop over to the challenge blog to see the lovely creations my Team friends have created.

Thank you so much for your visit, and precious time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

Hi, and welcome to all my very talented, and craft loving friends.

Posts 2 days running, and tomorrow there will be another post as it's the MAWTT Challenge again.
Just wanted to join in the Allsorts Challenge with this Christmas card with Winter Sparkle.

This is a 6"x6" size card.
Sorry the inside didn't photograph very well as I used Hunkydory card with an ombre effect.
The image is from the Crafters Companion Paint Poppets Winter Collection CD.
Just added some stickles glitter glue to the image, and a star die cut behind the image.

Thank you so much for your visit, and precious time.

BUTTERFLY CHALLENGE NO 116.... SPIN THE WHEEL FOR THE LETTER K

Hi, and welcome to all my very talented, and craft loving friends.

Thank you so much for all your wonderful comments on my recent posts.
I very much appreciate every visit, and comment.

Well another sleepless night yet again so I manged to make a card just in time for the Butterfly Challenge.
I think I have manged to use all the items on the wheel this time around especially as I haven't been able to join in this challenge for a long time.

Here is the wheel with all the elements.

My card is a 7"x5" tent style.
Sorry I didn't manage to decorate the inside, as I used lots of snippets to make this, and there wasn't enough for the inside.
I used kraft card, some Kelly Green card, Kobi for the Kite, and ribbon for the knot, some Kobe, dark red paper, in the corner, and of course my Butterflies.
Some of the items used are items I won on one of my Butterfly Challenge wins a long time ago.

Thank you so much for your visit, and precious time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

NEW HOME STAMPED CARD

Hi, and welcome to all my very talented, and craft loving friends.

While out at the supermarket on Wednesday night I decided to pick up a craft magazine that I saw Christina Griffiths demo on UTube.
It had lots of bird stamps as your freebie item.
Couldn't wait to use them as my Granddaughter has just moved house, and I needed to make her a card.
This card is one when it's finished you do a Happy Dance at how it turned out.
Made most of it in the middle of night when my dreaded RLS was plaguing me.

This is a 6"x6" size card.
I started by blending DOI in Worn Lipstick, Cracked Pistachio, and Fossilized Amber on 3 of my base layer cards, and then spritzed them with water.
I then cut an aperture in my top layer, and stamped it all over with one of the stamps, and the DOI Worn Lipstick.
I then put the circle that came out of the aperture, and cut another aperture so I could use the edge left round the aperture.
Mounted it all on foam tape.
I then stamped my Bird House in Potting Soil archival, and the Blue Tits in Black Archival Ink.
Coloured them in with Derwent Water Colour Pencils.
Stamped some flowers, and coloured them in with DOI W/L.
The Birds, Bird House, and the Flowers were stamped onto snippets of card so I will be off to the snippets playground with this.
I finally added  some ribbon green leaves, and stones to the eyes of the Birds.

Thank you so much for your visit, and precious time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

HUNKYDORY WINDOWS TO THE HEART CARD

Hi, and welcome to all my very talented, and craft loving friends.

Sorry I am still absent from my blog a lot.
I am still trying to get my craft room back in ship shape, and still unpacking lots of boxes which is taking me ages as my back will only allow me short periods of work.
I can't believe how much craft items I have still to put away.
My old desk was rather large and had lots of drawer space.
This has had to go to make way for the new heater that was installed, which I must say is keeping me lovely and warm, but my new desk is lot smaller and only has 2 drawers so I have had to buy some plastic drawers to use instead.
Will try, and show you photos or video of the old, and then the new when it's all done.
I have also been labelling everything so I know exactly where everything is.

In the meantime I have a card to enter into the Allsorts Challenge which I made a while ago , and haven't shown yet.
This came as a kit card, and there were 6 different ones which I made all at the same time before I forgot how to make them.

As stated this is from a Hunkydory kit called Windows to the Heart.
I just added a ribbon bow to this.
This design folds flat and fits into C5 Envelope.

Thank you so much for your visit, and precious time.
I really appreciate your patience with my hap-hazard blogging at the moment.
Lots of crafty love. JENNY.

THANK YOU MISS DI SURPRISE BLOG HOP

Hi, and welcome to all my very talented, and craft loving friends.

Darnell that lives over the pond is holding a surprise Blog Hop so that we all may Congratulate Miss Di on 7 Years of running the
PIXIES SNIPPETS PLAYGROUND CHALLENGE

I first encountered this challenge from visiting my Dear Friend
 Sue J.
She was posting some great creations made with lots of left over elements from other cards.
So I popped over to the
PIXIES SNIPPETS PLAYGROUND CHALLENGE where our lovely Miss Di encourages you to use up your snippets making a creation so you don't waste anything.
It can be anything you want to create not just a card as long as it made with at least one snippet item or more if you would like.
Miss Di and her lovely helper Parsnip have been running the challenge for 7 years after taking it over from the lovely Jules.
We have freat fun, and games just like being back at school in the playground

So DARNELL has organised this Blog Hop for us to say Thank You for all your hard work involved with this great challenge.
I haven't managed to enter this wonderful challenge lately as my husbands health issues, and house renovations have made crafting a bit hit and miss lately.
Another reason was getting ready for alterations to the house I had to put all my craft items away in boxes, and be very strong, and throw away my boxes, and boxes of snippets I had collected over the years, but happily I found a small box I had missed so I made this card.
Everything on the front of the card is a snippet even the lace, and flowers the only new item is the card base which I made, and the paper inside.

This is a 5"x7" tent style card I made.
The main card image is a snippet of Hunkydory card.
The lovely gold rainbow mirri card is also a snippet.

Thank you so much for your visit, and precious time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

I am entering this into the following blog hop and challenges.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
The card stock used is Hunkydory, and also the paper inside.
This card has a lovely gloss to it.
I die cut the heart aperture, and then added a die cut that looks like lace all around the inside of the Heart, this is a straight die cut, which I cut to fit the Heart.
The flower I made out of the same card and inked the edges.
The butterfly was up-cycled from a card given to me.

Thank you so much for your visit, and precious time.
I really appreciate every ones visit, and wonderful comments.

40th BIRTHDAY CARD

Hi, and welcome to all my very talented, and craft loving friends.

I am trying to get back to blogging ,and crafting, but with all my craft items in boxes waiting for my new heaters to be installed it's quite difficult.
I have managed to make a few Birthday cards for my family who have Birthdays this month with Hunkydory items that I could find.
Also a card for my DT on Thursday, but guess what I can't find the camera lead to the computer, after looking in I don't know how many boxes.
I remember putting it away safely, but where............... LOL.

I noticed the Allsorts challenge this week is Milestones with Numbers so as I have a card I made for my Daughter's work colleague back last year, and haven't shown yet I thought I would join in.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
The card stock, images, and the papers used are Hunkydory.
I put lots of post cards in the pockets inside for their individual greetings, and signing.
Cut out lots of die cuts of Happy Birthday, and 40th, and glued them together to make them stand out more.
The lovely little Butterflies are made by Wendy L our Team Leader at Moving Along With The Times challenge bog.

Thank you so much for your visit, and precious time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

SORRY YOU ARE LEAVING CARD AND BOX

Hi, and welcome to all my very talented, and craft loving friends.

I would like to welcome my latest followers that have pressed the button to join my blog, and thank you for following me.
I'm not sure if you have a blog, so if you have let me know so I can follow you too.

I have had to go back to my old computer as I could not get on with the any of the other photo editing programs.
So it's back with Picassa 3, and I can't understand why Google has done away with it as it was so easy to use, all the others are so complicated compared to that one as I'm not good with measurements.
Also some had very small writing which I couldn't enlarge, and I couldn't read the program with my eye problems.

Back in September my daughter asked me to make a leaving card, and box for a colleague that was leaving.
So here is what I came up with as the person loves shoes, and handbags.

This is a 8"x8" size card, and box I made to match.
They wanted lots of little cards inside to write their individual greetings on, so the cards inside are 4"x4" in size.
The boots, and handbag are a
 CraftsUPrint download.
Decoupaged the the handbag, boots and the flowers.

Thank you so much for your visit, and precious time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE

Hi, and welcome to all my very talented, and craft loving friends.

Thank you so much for your visits throughout 2018 especially this last couple of months when I couldn't visit you.
I really appreciate your support, and your lovely comments, and also get well wishes for hubby.

The kitchen is all finished now, and I have managed to just about get everything back into cupboards.
My craft room is still in boxes waiting for the New Heater to be fitted in the New Year.
I have had to get rid of my old very big desk, and buy a smaller one to accommodate the new heater.
It has been a good thing as my craft room needed a over haul, and tidy up, but it's been a lot of hard work, and being ruthless with crafting items I have had for many moons.
I can't wait to get crafting again, and blogging as it seems so long now since I have had chance to visit you all.
Mind you when it's all back together again do you think I will find anything???????

So I digress my main aim today is to wish everyone  A very Happy, Health, New Year.

Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE

Hi , and welcome to all my very talented, and craft loving friends.

May I wish everyone a very Merry Christmas, and a Happy, and Health New Year.

Thank you so much for all your visits, and wonderful comments that you all make on my work.

My bungalow is still  all upside down from my kitchen refurb, and my craft room is all in boxes waiting for the heating to be done in the New Year.
I am getting lots of with drawl symptoms from not being able to craft.

Hubby has recently had another fit which has left him very unsteady again.

I have had to have a smaller desk in my craft room to accommodate the new heater, and so I have changed computers with hubby, and lost my photo editing program of Picassa 3 as they no longer do that one,
So if anyone knows of a good, and easy one to use please let me know.

Thank you for your visit, and precious time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

We have a new challenge that starts today, for over the Christmas period at

MOVING ALONG WITH THE TIMES

The challenge involves both Teams A and B this time around, and the lovely Wendy our Team Leader is your host.

Here is what I made for my DT a wreath.

I got the idea for this last year from watching One Happy Bird on U Tube.
I just made mine larger to go on a door by cutting out cardboard rings, and then hot gluing  the bead inter twined pipe cleaners, and then I added a felt Christmas Tree decoration to the centre, and some lovely Ribbon.

Thank you so much for your visit, and precious time.

MOVING ALONG WITH THE TIMES DT.............ANYTHING CHRISTMAS

Hi, and welcome to all my very talented, and craft loving friends.

Well I'm nearly about 24 hours late posting my DT post as I couldn't get to my computer till tonight as my craft room was full of kitchen appliances.
It's time for another challenge over at
It is the B Teams turn again, and the lovely Caz is our host for this challenge, and she would like to see
Anything Christmas on your entries.
The challenge runs from Thursday the 6th of December to Wednesday the 19th of December, and closes at 6PM.
Please pop along to the challenge to see my wonderful team mates creations.
So here is a card I made weeks ago especially for this challenge as I knew things would be hectic now.

This is a 7"x6" tent style card I made.
I used an embossing folder given to me by a friend with this lovely image of the Robin, and Holly on.
I used white Hunkydory plain card to emboss this on, and then I sprayed it with Crafters Companion Pearl Diamond Sparkle Spray to give it the pearlised sheen.
Then I added some waxes which I have had for many a year in various colours to the different areas, and then finally adding some red pearls for the berries, and a little black stone to the Robins eye.
The greeting sentiment was a buy from The Works.

Thank you so much for your visit, and precious time.
I really appreciate every visit , and wonderful comment.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.
