RUDOLF DAYS CHALLENGE....DT CARD FOR MARCH 2021

Hi and welcome to all my very talented, and craft loving friends.

Sorry I have not been about much again still having a few ongoing health issues.

As today is the 25th of the month its's time for the Rudolf Days Challenge over at

SCRAPPYMO'S BLOG

The challenge runs till the end of the month and

One Entry Per person.

As always it's anything goes as long as it's a Christmas creation.

There is always a lovely prize for the winner too.

Making a card and entering can save you time when it gets closer to Christmas as well.

Here is my  DT cards I made this month.

The first card is an 8"x8" in size.

I used Anna Marie Christmas papers from and 8"x8" paper pad.

I cut out Anna Marie's holly die in glitter card and some more of her paper.

Added a flower arrangement, some foilage, and some pearls to the holly leaves.

The Red Rudolf is from my stash.

The second card is a 7"x5" size.

I used a Crafters Companion 3d embssing folder on gold card which was a freebie with my Anna Marie order.

She always puts a freebie with an order.

The sentiment is a Creative Expressions one given to me by Maureen.

The poinsettias I bought from Amazon and the holly leaves are a very old die which is a Sheena die.

I just inked through the die with gold pigment ink to give the veins of the leaf.

Thank you so much for your visit and precious time.

I really appreciate every visit and wonderful comment.

Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

MASCULINE BIRTHDAY CARD

Hi and welcome to all my very talented, and craft loving friends.

Well it's the weekend again so soon the weeks seem to fly by.

I have a masculine card to show for a change.

I made this for my Grandson who loves to go fishing, he had all my husbands fishing gear after he passed so it was not wasted.

This is a 8"x8" size card.

I made the Kraft card from 2 A4 pieces of card stock as I had some kraft envelopes left over from another set of cards.

I matted it with matt silver card and the basket weave paper is from Tattered Lace.

The image is a Hunkydory one from one of their books.

I used some snippets of green mirri card I had for the other matts.

Thank you so much for your visit and precious time.

I reall appreciate every visit, and wonderful comment.

Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

MOVING ALONG WITH THE TIMES DT.........SPRING IS COMING

Hi and welcome to all my very talented, and craft loving friends.

I am back again today as it's the first of the month and time for a new challenge over at

MOVING ALONG WITH THE TIMES

The theme this month is

SPRING IS COMING,

chosen by our lovely Christine, as it's March.

Now luckily I didn't have to make a card especially for this theme as I had made one for my Stepdaughter who had a severe stroke just after New Years, and I wanted to make a card that cheered her up.

She is home now and having physio, but was only 57 which I think is quite young.

Thankfully her Dad was not here to worry about her.

She also caught covid while in the hospital which I was not happy about.

So here is the Spring themed card I made her.

This is a 8"x8" size card.

The card stock is from Hunkydory Garden Treasures.

In the kit you had some plant pot cards you could make.

I decided to put one on the front of the card with lots of Spring Flowers in it.

Please pop along to the challenge blog to see the wonderful creations made by my Team Friends and enter if you can.

Thank you so much for your visit and precious time.

I really appreciate every visit and wonderful comment.

RUDOLF DAYS CHALLENGE JANUARY 2021

Hi and welcome to all my very talented, and craft loving friends.

Sorry I have not been about much this month I am suffering with my Arthritis quite badly everywhere in my body at the mo.

So with this new lockdown I have no help with my work, and it takes me ages to get it all done, and then I am too exhausted to blog.

I have however made quite a few cards as I had orderes and family ones to do, and January is a busy month for family Birthdays.

I can never say no to anyone that asks me to make cards are you the same.

Well that's enough of my woes I am sure there are lots more people with more severe health issues than me so I shouldn't grumble.

So I quickly made a card for the

Rudolf Days Challenge over at

SCARPPYMOS BLOG

as I don't like to miss it, and it's not my month for DT so I can enter.

This is a 7"x5" size card.

The stamp is a Wooeware one that was one of  lovely presents from Maureen for being on her DT.

I origanlly stamped it on the front of the card, but I didn't like it like that so I stamped it again and cut it out and raised it on card board

this is a cheaper way than using foam tape.

Will be back tomorrow with my DT for Moving Along With The Times as it's the first of the month.

Thank you so much for your visit and precious time.

I really appreciate your visit especially as I am such a bad blogger at the mo.

Lots of crafty love.  JENNY

I would like to enter this not the following challenge.

MOVING ALONG WITH THE TIMES CHALLENGE 126.......DT....NEW BEGININGS

Hi and welcome to all my very talented and craft loving friends.

A VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR
TO YOU ALL.

Lest hope this year is a going to be a better one and we can get back to some normality soon.

As it's the first of the month it's time for another challenge over at

MOVING ALONG WITH THE TIMES

The challenge theme this month chosen by our lovely Carole is

NEW BEGININGS

So New Baby, Weddings, New Home and that sort of thing.

The challenge runs to the 30th of January 2021.

So I made a Baby card for my DT

actually I made this a while ago but have never shown it.

This is a 8"x8" size card.

I used up lots of snippets of paper left over from other Baby cards I have made hence the half and half style papers.

The photo of the inside I couldn't get the colour right as the colour is more like the front of the card.

The doily was a Tattered Lace Die, and the Baby items was a cheap Chinese die.

Please try and visit the challenge blog to see the lovely creations made by my team friends.

Thank you so much for your visit and precious time.

GREAT GRANDDAUGHTER'S SLIDE UP CARD

Hi and welcome to all my very talented and craft loving friends.

I do hope everyone is keeping safe and well in these uncertain times.

Yay I will see my Daughter for the first time in 2 weeks as she had a case of Covid where she works and didn't want to come round just in case.

Thankfully all her tests came back negative but she still didn't want to chance it.

She still had to work though as she is a Manager in a home for Adults with learning difficulties.

Hence she was being tested weekly and she has to wear all the gear needed to be safe.

Earlier this year I was tempted as you do to buy this die from Tonic as I thought it would make a great card for my Great Granddaughter Ellie.

This  is how it opens up

Then finally like this.

Sorry about the first photo I just couldn't get the colour right the colours are more like the second and third photos.

Ellie was going through a faze of loving Sloths.

So I bought this card stock from C&C in their summer sale and it was designed by Carly Duff.

The photo in the second slide up part was the only recent photo I could find, and it was from a day out when it was very windy.

Thank you so much for your visit and precious time.

I really appreciate every visit and wonderful comment.

Lots of crafty love.  JENNY

Hi and welcome to all my very talented and craft loving friends.

Well its the 25th of the month yet again and time for the last Rudolf Days Challenge of 2020 over at

SCRAPPYMO'S BLOG

As always it's anything goes as long as it's Christmas.

You have to the end of the month to enter.

One Entry per Person.

I would like to take this oppertunity to thank Maureen for having me yet again as one of her wonderful Design Team and all the hard work involved in running this great challenge.

It's been a great pleasure to work with some very talented DT friends also.

So here are my last 2 cards for this year.

These are both 8"x8" size cards.

The first one is another Napkin image from Anna Marie.

Anna Marie paper sprayed with gold mica spray.

Poinsettias and foilage are Tattered Lace Dies.

The second card is a Hunkydory Image.

I found the Carol music on the web and the paper I used was copied from the back of a package of some food which I cannot remember what, but isn't it so pretty I could not throw it away.

For my floral bouquet I rolled up some snippets of red card to make 3 cylinders and tied them together with a ribbon then added ivy leaves, berries, and some small flowers.

Finished it all off with snow paste around the deges and glitter to the image.

Thank you so much for your visit and precious time.

I really appreciate every visit and wonderful comment.

FAMILY OF PENGUINS

Hi and welcome to all my very talented and craft loving friends.

Something a little different today.

Last year I made snowmen if you remember for a Christmas Bazzar we were having where I live I also made penguins too, but never posted them so here they are.

I say they are a family because they all came out different sizes and they look like Daddy, Mummy, and Child.

If you would like to know how to make them there are plenty of U TUBE videos.

Thank you so much for your visit and precious time.

ANOTHER NAPKIN TECHNIQUE CHRISTMAS CARD

Hi and welcome to all my very talented, and craft loving friends.

I have another Christmas card made with the napkin technique.

I fell in love with design napkin as soon as I saw it and had to make a card with it.

Was quite pleased with how it turned out.

This is a 8"x8" size tent style card I made out of A4 card stock.

The Gunmetal shade of card was black on the reverse side so I glued two pieces together so I could have the same shade inside the card.

The napkin is a Anna Marie one.

I decided to put the image in an aperture and added some pearl stings around the edge, and some glitter to the image.

Then I added a couple of bows and some white and yellow flowers and foilage for my arrangement.

Thank you so much for you visit and precious time.

I really appreciate every visit and wonderful comment.

25th ANNIVERSARY ALBUM AND BOX

Hi and welcome to all my very talented and craft loving friends.

My youngest Son and his wife celebrated their 25th Wedding Anniversary in September, and this is what I made them.

This Album is 7"x7" in size and a box I made to fit it.

I made lot of mistakes on this Album, so hence the ribbon spine and the lace die cuts at the back of the Album.

I used lots of different dies on the making of this they include Tattered Lace, Tonic, Sue Wilson,

and an old flower die which I can't remember the make of.

I just wish I hadn't penned the doodling around the picture mounts.

A lesson learnt for next time.

Thank you so much for your visit and precious time.

I really appreciate every visit and wonderful comment.

Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.
