A TOUCH OF AUTUMN AND SHOWCASE

Hi and good morning to my wonderful blog friends and visitors.
Well blow me down it's Friday again where did this week go.
May I say a big THANK YOU for all your wonderful comments,
this week.
I feel soooooo HAPPY that you choose to visit my little corner
of blog land.........

I have not had the chance to craft for 2 days now,  and I am
getting with drawl symptoms. lol.
Still tomorrows another day, isn't that nearly the title of one of
the Bond Movies.
I would be Daniel Craigs leading lady any day. lol.

My car today is an easel card with a strong Autumn theme.
Sorry not a Bond one. lol.

Click on the photo to enlarge the picture.

This was quite an easy card to make.
I used and A4 leaf patterned card from Hunkydory to make
the easel.
I embossed The Special Touch Doily Mask with some lovely
brown card I bought many moons ago.
I used one of the lovely Hunkydory toppers of a cute hedgehog.
Before I started I photo copied the card so I had the same paper
to go inside.
The bits left over I made the flowers with and put a brad through
the middle.
I coloured my American Seam Binding ribbon brown to go with
the colours in the card.
I added some Parisian Borders either side of a border strip as
the easel stopper.
I hope you like this.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges.
http://craftycatzweeklychallenge.blogspot.co.uk/2012/10/challenge-154-and-last-weeks-winner.html?m=1

Now I would like to show you some more of my sister's
jewellery she has made me.

It is actually navy white and gold but it looks black in the photo,
and it's all made out of pearls.

Well that's all for today folks thank you again for visiting me.
I hope each and everyone of you has a wonderful Friday.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

Your sisters work is just beautiful I would love to do things like that. I could probably do the dangling bits, but that necklace piece is stunning.

Morning Jenny, Really lovely easel card today, I love the autumnal theme and the hedgehog is gorgeous, I love hedgehogs. I also love how you photocopy the card to use on the inside, as always you are as meticulous on your inside cards as on your outsides, love your attention to detail.
Have a lovely day today.
Lots of love from Patricia xx
PS I'm trying to get everything done at home today, because I'm travelling to Kettering tomorrow, 4 hours on 3 trains there, really looking forward to it (not the travelling ha ha). xx

Morning again Jenny, I was so enthralled with your project that I nearly forgot.
Your Sister's necklace is absolutely stunning, she must have put in hours completing that project, she must have a lot of patience. I adore pearls and have lots myself, lots that were my Mum's (really vintage ha ha) that need re-stringing or the clasps have gone, I would love to be able to re-invent those. Does your Sister have any tips for a book or tutorial online that would be good for me ??
Lots of love (again) from Patricia xx

Well I never Jenny, I have just sent for the Hunkydory blockbuster so seeing your gorgeous card today I now can't wait for it to arrive and have a play. The hedgehog is so cute and love your autumnal colours. Haven't done an easel card for ages seem to be in an 8x8 rut at the moment.
Your sisters necklace is stunning and looks like it should adorn the neck of a female celebrity on the red carpet to the Oscars. Lucky you to be the recipient of this unique masterpiece. Your sister is very talented.
Hope you have a sunny Friday, love Christine H xx

Hi Sue,
no sorry my sister doesn't sell her lovely creations. She spends a lot of money on them and feels people would not pay that much for them. So she only makes them for family.
Have a wonderful crafty day.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

Try looking for a beading class near you.
You are so brave taking all those trains to crafting venues. I hope you have a fab time.
Have a wonderful crafty day.
