BROWN AND BEIGE GILDING FLAKE CARD

Hi and welcome to my blog all my very talented
friends and visitors.

Well it's the weekend again, and my this week
has gone by even faster than usual.

Thank you for all your wonderful comments,
that you continually make on my work.

I took the plunge the other day and used my
gilding flakes, which I bought back in March,
and hadn't used.
So I thought what better way to use them, than
with my Sue Wilson dies.
So here is my effort, I hope you like it, as I was
quite pleased with the result.

This is a 8"x8" size card, made from A3 white
PMD card.
I covered my card with beige PMD A4 card.
I then covered some layered card with double
sided sticky paper and used gilding flakes on it.
Then I mounted it onto my card with foam tape.
Next I cut out Sue Wilson's Classic Rose die.
Now part of this rose die just cuts out the
pattern, and you use the outer part to cut out the
complete flower.
I also cut the flower in half to edge either side
 of my sentiment.

Thank you again for your precious time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

NEW BABY BOY CARD

Hi and welcome to my blog, all my very talented
friends, and visitors.

Wasn't the weather awful over the BH weekend.
I think it was like that over most the country.
Such a pity for those who work, as it's the last
one till Christmas now.

Thank you so much for all your wonderful
comments on my Rudolf creation.

Now I have a New Baby Boy card to show you,
as I was asked by my daughter's partner to make
this for a colleague.
Still have to make the box to go with it.

This is a 8"x8" size card made from PMD A3
white card.
The coloured card is PMD too.
The papers and the image are from the Joanna
Sheen Baby Love CD which by the way you
can no longer buy.
Square Doilies from the Ribbon Box, I had to
do little construction to make them fit my image.
I also used some snippets from my my snippets
box for some of the die cuts.

Thank you again for your precious time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

RUDOLF DAY AUGUST 2014

Hi and welcome to my blog all my craft loving
friends, and visitors.
I do hope you are having a good BH weekend,
and the weather has been kind to you.

Thank you kindly for all your comments on my
work, I very much appreciate every one.

Now today starts the August Rudolf challenge.
which runs from the 25th of the month to the
end of the month.
You need to make 2 Christmas Cards to join in.
I had a light bulb moment about 3 days before
this challenge, while sitting on the bed enjoying
my first cuppa of the morning.
My Son about 2 years ago bought me a Pandora
bracelet, and ever since my daughter and my
granddaughter have bought me a charm to go
on it.
So anyone who collects these knows you get a
lovely box inside a lovely bag.
Well I decided to use the bag to house 6 little
cards.
So here is my entry to the challenge.

The size of the cards is just under 5"x5"
I used a Poinsettia wooden stamp for the
background paper, and Fired Brick Distress
Ink.
I used Pine Needles Distress Ink to stamp
the Poinsettias, and coloured them in with the
Fired Brick Distress Ink and a brush.
The sentiment I'm sure you know is an LOTV
one.
I used some snippets from my snippets box to
stamp some of these.

Thank you again for your precious time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

ANOTHER WEDDING CARD AND BOX

Hi and welcome to my part of blog land, all my
craft loving friends, and visitors.
Before I go any further I need to welcome my
newest follower, and thank you so much for
being interested in my work.
I do hope you continue to pop back whenever
you have the time.
Sorry I missed welcoming you on my last post.

Thank you sooooooooo! much to all my wonderful, and talented followers who visit me
on a regular basis.
You are all so very kind, and make such fab
comments on my work, which makes me a very happy bunny.

Now onto my post for today I was commissioned
to make this wedding card and box, for a lady
that works with my daughter.
You might remember my A4 box and card for
the members of staff to send their wedding
greetings, well this one went to the same couple.

This is a 8"x8" size card and box to fit.
I used the Sue Wilson Art Deco Fanfare
embossing folder, and coloured the folder with
blue ink before embossing my pearl card to give
it a blue tint.
The roses I also coloured the edges with blue
ink to match.
The roses are I think from the Range, not sure
as my sister in Wales bought them for me.
I used some of my snippets pearl card to die cut
the corners, so I will be popping over to the playground with this.

Thank you again for your time, and visit.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

NEW HOME CARD

Hi and welcome to all my friends and visitors.
My word hasn't this week gone so fast, it seems
a lot faster than usual.
I am so sorry I have been a bad blogger, and not
posted anything for just over a  week.
I have been looking after my 2 little great granddaughters, the first part of the week, and then I had family staying later in the week.
So big apologies for not visiting you for this past week.

My youngest Son, his wife, and my 2 grandchildren moved house 2 weeks ago.
So here is the card I made them.

This is a 8"x8" size card made from A3 PMD
white card.
The papers are printed from the Crafters Companion CD Cute Companions Volume 1.
Now I printed these for another card, the mint
green one, I posted a couple of weeks ago, but
they were too blue for that card.
So these must be classed as Snippets to so I'm
off to join the playground with this.
The sentiment is from a book of papers I bought.

Thank you for your time and wonderful comments.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

A4 WEDDING CARD AND BOX

Hi and a very warm welcome to everyone that
stops here for a visit.
I am so very grateful for your visit, and the wonderful comments you make.

Today I am showing you a wedding card my
daughter asked me to make for a work colleague,
who was getting married.
Now she wanted an A4 size so everyone of the
staff could sign it.
Now those of you that know me, know I love
to incorporate the colour that the bridesmaids
are wearing in my cards.
So here is what I came up with.

I thought as there were a lot of people to sign
it, I would put DL cards inside for everyone to
sign, and that way it wouldn't spoil the card.

Now the box.

This is a A4 size card made out of Centura Snow
White Pearl A3 card.
I used my embossing folder that came with the
EBosser.
I edged all the card with blue ink.
The wedding couple are from a copyright free
book I have, and I printed them onto Centrura
Pearl card, and decoupaged them too.
I decorated her dress with a few sequins from
my stash.

Thank you again for your visit and time.
Lots of crafty love. JENNY.

MY ROSE CARD

Hi and welcome to my part of blog land, all my
craft loving friends, and visitors.
Than you kindly for your visit, wonderful comments, and your precious time.

Now I have been having a lot of trouble making
roses lately, and while I was looking at Patricia's
blog, last week she showed some magnificent
Roses she had made, so I thought I would invest
in the same die.
You can find her blog HERE and her beautiful Roses.
Here is what I came up with, so thank you
Patricia for the inspiration.

This is a 8"x8" size card, made from A3 PMD
card.
The Rose is made with the Susan's Garden large
Roes Die.
My design behind the rose is the heart from
Tattered Lace Chantilly Heart Corner.
I used some white snippets from my snippets
box for some of the die cuts.
So I will join the playground with this.

Thank you again for your time.
Lots of crafty love. JENNY.

GRANDSON'S CAS CARD

Hi and welcome to all my craft loving friends,
and visitors.
I am really glad you popped by and I love to
read your wonderful comments.

Now since I started blogging a few years ago, I
have made so many friends in various parts of
the world, and I also communicate with a few
through private emails.
All this is possible with our wonderful technology
that we sometimes take for granted.
I don't know about you but I never touched a
computer till I started to make cards.
Now my DH was always on the computer, and
so was my children, but being 65 years young,
we never had computers at school, like they do now.
So what I have learnt has been with the help of
my DH, and playing around with my computer.
I am quite proud of myself, setting up my blog,
as I had no idea what to do, and my DH was
not sure either so I soldiered on, and so glad I
did, otherwise I would not have all of you as
my friends.
Sorry if Ive waffled on too much, just wanted
to thank all of you for you wonderful friendship.

So to my card this one I made for my Grandson
who is now in his twenties.
Sorry about the stamping as I used some snippets
card from my box and I used Distress Ink, and
the card was wrong for that type of ink and bled
a little.

This is a 8"x8" size card, made from A3 PMD
card.
I decided to use my embossing folder that came
with my EBosser  and use it sideways on the
card.
Now as many of my regular friends, and visitors
to my blog know I don't very often make CAS
cards, as I can't stop my self putting just one
more item on it. lol.

Thank you again for your time.
Lots of crafty love. JENNY.

FRIENDS BIRTHDAY CARD

Hi and to everyone that visits me, and my very loyal craft loving friends.
Thank your for sparing your time, and the wonderful comments you make on my work.

Now today I have a card I made for my daughter
to give to her work colleague and friend.
Not many die cuts on this one for a change.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
Now I was sorting out some old card I had, and
came across this lovely mint green card, that I
had bought from The Paper Mill Shop, before it
closed down.
It was a very thick card I would say about 350gsm with slight mottled shine to it.
So now I was stuck what to go with it, and I
printed off a sheet of paper from my Crafters
Companion CD Cute Companions, now this was
slightly to turquoise for the colour card so I
tried coping it on my printer, and it came out
just the shade of mint green I wanted luckily.
The middle flower in the center was bought at
the NEC on ribbon with string you pull.
You will find them HERE  if your interested.
My corners were cut out of what would have
gone into the snippets box so I wonder if I
could be cheeky and join in the playground,
as strictly, my ribbon flower was made from snippets left over.

Thank you again for your visit.
Lots of crafty love. JENNY.

MY BIRTHDAY CARD FOR ELLIE

Hi and a very warm welcome to everyone that
stops here to see what I have created.

Well it's the weekend again and I do so hope
you are all having lovely weather in your part
of the country.

My card today is my one I made for Ellie's
Birthday last Tuesday.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
I used a Hunkydory image decoupaged for the
front as I thought it looked like Ellie.
I used some die cut snippets cut out for another
project and not used round the image.
The paper is from Crafters Companion CD
printed onto pearlised card.

Thank you for your time and the wonderful
comments that you make.
Lots of crafty love. JENNY.
