ELLIE'S FIRST BIRTHDAY CARD

Hi and good morning to all my wonderful blog friends and visitors.
May I welcome my new follower Caroline to my blog.
I hope you all had a wonderful day yesterday, and you managed to
slot some craft into your day.
THANK YOU for all your wonderful comments.
I am truly honoured by all the wonderful ones you make on
my meager creations.
Especially as I know that you all,  are soooooo very talented
people yourselves.
I had a great day with Ellie yesterday she is such a little
treasure, and so entertaining too.
I know I am biased but she has blond hair and the most amazing
blue eyes, and a wonderful little personality to match.

My card today is one I made for her Birthday, for her grandmother
to give to her.

Click on the photo to get a closer look at the card.

Now the inside.

This card is made out of an 8x8 card size.
Matted with pink card and darker pink paper.
I added a doily to the front of the card and also the inside.
I added a picture of an elephant and decoupaged it.
Some lace flowers in the corners and quite a few embellishments
from my stash.
I hope you like this. I think I went over the top with the
embellishments, but what do you think.
Thank you again for taking the time to pay me a visit and
make your comments.
Have a wonderful crafty Thursday everyone.
Lots of crafty love. JENNY.
I would like to enter this in the following challenges.

Jenny such an adorable creation I love all the embellies and no you didnt go overboard but made it so perfect. Little Ellie is a lucky girl indeed ! What are those adorable little stars....I have never seen it before!

Hi Dr Sonia,
those stars I inherited from my aunty when sadly she passed away. So I am sorry, I can't tell you where they were bought, but on looking at another packet, It says Club Green Celebration and Craft. I hope that helps.

Hi Jenny,
Another pretty creation from you that will most definitely be adored by its recipient, special granddaughter Ellie.
The stars you used on your card are by Club Green and can be purchased at Hobbycraft (well at least the last time I was there they still had them in the wedding craft section) I used to buy alot of stock from Club Green when I had my own Wedding Stationery business and remember these stars from the catalogue.
I hope you are keeping well. Hugs Linda xx

Awww! I think little Ellie will be delighted with her card. Definitely not OTT as that's how a card for a 1 year old should turn out :) Lovely colours and embellishments. I'm sure Ellie's grandmother was over the moon.

Thanks for playing along with us this week at Fab'n'Funky Challenges.
