HAPPY BIRTHDAY IN PEACH

Hi and good morning to all my lovely followers and visitors.
THANK you for taking the time to visit my blog and making
such lovely comments.
I know everyday I say how much I appreciate all of them, but
yesterday they were extra special, because of the extra wonderful
comments on my cards.
I had a terrible day yesterday, I was busy blog hopping as we
do, and then disaster struck the gardeners that cut the grass
outside where I park my car, threw up a stone from the lawnmower
and shattered my back windscreen of my car.
This put everything I had to do back at least 4 hours sorting it
all out.
Still no new screen have to wait till tomorrow morning for
new one to come in.

My card today is one I made for my sister in law.
I hope you like it.

Click on the photo to get a closer look at the card.

Now the inside.

I made this card with an A3 card cut to and 8x8 card
I didn't have any peach card to matt and layer so I used white
card and distressed it with Tattered Rose Distress Ink to give
it a peach colour.
I then used some Dovecraft Princess Fairytale paper.
The image was a freebie off the internet, and coloured with
Promarkers.
I added some flowers and embellishments from my stash.
Well that's all for today folks, thank you again for your visit.
Have a wonderful crafty day everyone.
I sure hope no disaster strikes any of you.
Lots of crafty love. JENNY.
I would like to enter this in the following challenges.

Oh dear Jenny, what a shame. Hope you manage to sort things out this morning. Last week I didn't fully engage the handbrake and the car rolled back and hit a wall. I guess it could have been worse but ...... I was in John's car not my own!!!! Ouch! Anyway this is a beautiful card! Your SIL must have loved it.Love from Christine x

Morning Jenny, Oh that is awful about your rear windscreen, I do hope you can get it fixed really soon. I know there is never a 'good time' for this thing to happen, but how 'inconsiderate' of the gardener to cause all this mess for you, when you are 'blog hopping' ha ha. We never know from one minute to the next what will happen. This morning I was blog hopping, I was commenting on Christine's tag, pressed 'publish' and everything went wrong from there - my internet went, I re-booted, I turned off and turned back on again both set top box and wireless hub - I then spent over an hour on the phone to Virgin, I used computers all day before I retired but when it comes to 'technical issues' I am a novice, anyway after a long trawl they got me back up and running again, brilliant !!!!!

Your card is absolutely gorgeous, I love the colours and different papers you have used, the image is so cute and girlie, and your inside is just as gorgeous, simply stunning, Jenny.
I hope you have a much better day today, and hope the car gets fixed real soon.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

Really beautiful card. Love the way you have decorated the inside as well. Sorry to hear about your windscreen - so much inconvenience for something that wasn't your fault. Hope you get it sorted soon.

Oh Jenny this is awful news about the car I'm just glad you weren't in it at the time. However it has upset you I know or you wouldn't have mentioned it, so i do hope you are ok now dear friend.
Your card today is delightful and I adore the colour palette you have chosen, its so delicate and feminine. This little lady is cute and I am looking at her on my display board in my craftroom where she sits on a lovely card so lovingly made by you. Another wonderful creation.
It is lovely to walk along with you on your crafting journey and watch you growing with confidence.
Have a good day, hopefully a crafty one. Biggest hugs Linda xx

Hi Jenny and I too am so sorry about your car, I know these things happen but we just don't need them. It's bad enough when the damage is of our own making but when caused by someone else it's a bitter pill to swallow. Hopefully it will get sorted very soon.
Your card is so lovely as always, love the image, you certainly have the skill in choosing the right image for your recipient and again the colours are perfect. Love the bling you have given this little lady.
I so hope you have a much better day today, take care, love Christine H xx

Hi Jenny - I do hope your car is sorted sooner rather than later for you. It is such a nuisance when this happens. There is so much to do to sort it all out.

I do love this card though and I think your s-in-l is going to absolutely adore it. I think the peach colour is amazing and those papers are so good on there. You have made a really great card yet again. Brilliant.

Hugs to you Sue Pxxx
