VINTAGE LOOKING CARD

Hi and good morning to all you wonderful talented crafty followers
and visitors.
Well it's Wednesday again, I hope you all had a fab day yesterday.
Did you manage to slot some crafting in ?
I must admit I didn't, was just too busy to manage it boo ! hoo!
THANK YOU for all your wonderful comments.
I am a very Happy Bunny with them all.
I know your time is very precious to you so any time you spend
visiting my blog and leaving comments are very much appreciated.

My card today has a vintage look.
There is a small story attached to this card and couple more
I may show in the future.
My sister goes to beading class in South Wales where she lives,
and one of the ladies in her class gave her some cards she had
bought from C and C that she didn't want.
So my sister passed them on to me, these were the type you buy
and just add your own embellishments to. They were a funny
size so I made them into the size to fit just inside an 8x8 card.
I hope you like it.

Click on the photo to enlarge the picture.

This card is made with a 8x8 card blank.
Matted with pale green card stock then the funny sized card
matted on top.
Noe this left a line down the center where the fold of the card
was, so that was covered with vintage green ribbon and the
Parisian Accents either side.
I coloured the little green flowers with a whisper pen, and added
a green pearl into each center.
Wallah a fairly quick card to make.
Thank you again for your visit.
I hope you have a fantastic Wednesday.
I have got Ellie to look after tomorrow so I will visit your bogs
a little later in the day, if I can't manage it before she arrives.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.
I would like to enter this in the following challenges.

Hi Jenny, see what can be done when the brain box is put to work. We crafters never throw anything away just make it fit and turn it into something else. You are very talented. This is so elegant, love the topper.

Morning Jenny, Fantastic, I love anything vintage and the image of the little girl is truly gorgeous, I love how you have adapted the card and added your little touches to make it totally different. Absolutely beautiful.
I won't be finding any time today to craft as I'm having my hair done in Manchester, it is one of those 'first time at this salon' scenarios and I will be in a panic when I'm there ha ha !!
Have a lovely day with Ellie.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

This is beautiful and I love the vintage theme Jenny - so pretty. I think I have some of these somewhere in my stash and was a bit put off by the size. You have given me an idea now. Thank loads.

Jenny this is so beautiful and elegant...I have become a big fan of your creations! And you are such a sweetheart for offering to send me the stuff to India but I must decline as shipping international is so unnecessarily expensive!!
Lots of Love

Hi Jenny,
This is truly delightful. What a fabulous way to use up odd sized pre printed cards, you have done a wonderful job with it and no one would have guessed. The ribbon completes the card perfectly and gives it such a professional finish.
