BUTTERFLY CHALLENGE CARD

Hi and welcome to my part of blog land, all my
craft loving friends, and visitors.
I am sorry I have been missing again, but my DH
is having a lot of pain in his left hip, and as he is
usually my head cook and bottle washer, so I'm
having to do all the cooking and washing up jobs
again.
You don't realize how much more time that gives
you to craft and blog, until it's gone.
I have also had to go for my 3 yearly mammogram
again, and unluckily I had the same butcher of
a woman I had last time.
There are usually 2 woman in the mobile unit,
and I just had to have the one that treats you like
a piece of meat again this time.
Well enough of my moaning, but I just had to
mention the woman in the breast screening unit,
as she makes me so mad.
Now on to my Butterfly Challenge card.

This is a five and half inch square card.
The paper was printed off a CD I bought for just
a £1 at Creative Crafting World called Tumble
Tizzy Pastimes Collection.
The image is a Hunkydory one called Fairy
Sweethearts.
I used a Sue Wilson Die, cut up, and put around
the edge of the heart for the decorative edge.
The bottom lace wahsi sort of tape my sister
sent me as a present, and I cut out the thank you
on the scanNcut.

Thank you for your visit, precious time, and the
wonderful comments you make.
I very much appreciate each one.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

I would like to enter this into the following
challenges.

Hello Jenny pleased to see you again. I'm having a lot of trouble with my right hip at the moment (not bad enough for a hip replacement yet the consultant tells me) so I know how your hubby is feeling. Mine has to yank me up out of chairs and bed of a morning. I long for for the warmer weather to ease it a bit. Enough moaning.
Your card is enchanting. Gorgeous colours and finished off beautifully as usual. Thankyou for fluttering by . hugs Mrs A.

A beautiful card Jenny. Love that image. Your poor hubby I feel for him as I suffer with a sore hip a lot. And as for your unit lady she needs you to put a co,plaint in about her, a little bit of kindness doesn't cost anything, at the end of the day she only has a job as these things are need by women, Hazel x

Hi Jenny, beautifully sweet card, fabulous colours and design too.
Sorry to hear of your DH's hip problem, Alistair had his replaced a few years ago and it was very successful.
What a shame to go through your XRay like that, breasts can be very sensitive, you expect to be handled gently, hugs Kate x

Hi Jenny, So sorry to hear that Tony isn't very well at present, let's hope he feels better really soon.
I had to have a chuckle at your write-up about the breast screening unit, I've encountered this type of treatment on a couple of occasions so I can sympathise, it makes me feel like grabbing theirs and doing the same to them, see how they like it hahahaha.
I'm loving your card, especially the beautiful image, you got a real bargain with that CD.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

Hi Jenny
Oh dear about the mammogram. You moan away, get it off your chest gal! Sorry, couldn't resist that one lol! Not old enough for that pleasure yet and as a girl with slight more than a handful, its not something I'm looking forward to.
Anyhoo, back to the card, which is adorable and pretty in pink!
Hope hubby feels better soon so you can get back to your craft room.
Best wishes.

This is such a pretty card and an unusual size for you methinks matey! Such a great image and so pretty in those shades of pink. Whenever I've been for a mammogram I always thought it was meant to be a painful/prodding/pokey procedure until the last time and I had the nicest/gentlest lady you could ever wish for. I'm just hoping I get her again next time!

Anyway hugs to you both Sue Pxxx (Graham sends his regards as well)
