HARRIET

Good evening dear blog friends and visitors.
I do hope you have all had a super weekend.
Anyone among you sun burned or should I say
wind burned. lol.
The winds have been really horrible for quite a
few days now. I know we have had sunshine and
I shouldn't grumble, but that wind makes it so
cold here in the South, so I don't know what it's
like for you peeps in the north of the country.

May I say a BIG THANK YOU again for all
your wonderful comments on my work.

Tonight I have a card I have made for my
stepdaughter's Birthday.
I was busy looking at what Pink Gems has to
offer and spotted this image, and fell instantly
in love with it.
I do hope my colouring has done justice to this wonderful digi image.

My GC broke while making this one so lovely
hubby helped by fitting a spanner to the handle,
this was very hard going, so my wonderful
hubby has bought me a new electric embosser.
Whoopee, I am a happy bunny now, as I felt so
miserable after my GC broke it handle.
It should arrive tomorrow.

Well that's enough of my waffling as the great
Sue P would say.
I hope you like it.

Now the inside.

This is a 8x8 size card.
I thought I would try these colours for a change.
Digi image from Pink Gems, and colured in with
Flexmarkers, and Promarkers.
The papers are Papermania Capsule Collection
Heather paper pack, and the flowers are made
with Kaiser Craft Paper.
The flowers were made with a die I was bought
for my Birthday in March, and it's the first time
I have used it. You know us crafty peeps I put
in the drawer with my other dies and forgot I had it.
I inked the edge of the flowers with Dusty Concorde Distress Ink, and then I put Silver Ice
Stickles on it to glitter it.

Thank you again for your visit.
I hope you all have a really good crafty week.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

So gorgeous Jenny. Lovely image! Aren't you the lucky one - an E-bosser no less. You will have to let us know how it measures up to the GC when you've had chance to try it out. We too have had very windy weather over the last two days so I haven't been able to cycle. I hope it eases off this week so I can get some last minute cycle practice in. Love and hugs from Christine xx

Good Morning Jenny,
A stunning card using a wonderful image, I love it.
Beautiful colouring, colours and layout.
Keep us informed as to how you get on with your Ebosser...........Hubby offered me one last Christmas. I wanted to read any feedback first but there does not seem to be much yet. I think that`s a good thing, I have it on my "wish list" for my birthday in September.
No sunburn here it was dull all day yesterday, the heating was on in the evening.
Have a Great Day

Morning Jenny, A very gorgeous card, loving the colours and the image is so beautiful, your Daughter will love it.
If you leave a post on Spellbinders Paper Arts facebook page, they will ask you to email their Customer Services, who in turn will contact their UK repairer and they will send you out a new handle very quickly, make sure you mention in your post that you are in the UK. I have an Ebosser and I absolutely love it, you will love yours, and what a lovely hubby Tony is.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

What a gorgeous card Jenny, love all the details and colours..your stepdaughter will love it! The GC is quite easy to repair if it's the screw inside that's jumped out and if the handle itself has broken, let spellbinders know and they'll get a new one set free! Enjoy your new machine though, Carole Z X
