RUDOLPH DAYS CHALLENGE...APRIL2024 ENTRY

Sorry I have been missing again life has just got in the way and I have had trouble with my computer couldn't wake it up after a long time I realised the plug socket had stopped working. 

As it's the 25th of the month it's time for the 

RUDOLPH DAYS CHALLENGE 

which you can find above.

Here are my entries into the challenge that I made yesterday.

 

These are 5"x7" tent style cards I created out of A4 card stock.

The poinsettia 3D embossing folder was from Temu.

The red and silver glitter card stock is Tonic and the green is from Amazon and the rose gold is sizzex.

Hi and welcome to all my very talented and craft loving friends.

Sorry I have been missing in action but I have had quite a few health appointments to attend to in March and March is a very busy month for family cards too.

Do not worry they were just routine appointments for opticians, dentist and hospital, but were doubled up because of problems, such as fillings and of course when I go to the opticians I get referred back to the hospital again and I must say the appointment for the hospital was very quick to arrive.

 

Well it's the 1st of the month and time for a new challenge over at

MOVING ALONG WITH THE TIMES 

It's the lovely Helen's turn to host this month's challenge and she would like to see Fancy Folds on your creations. 

So here is what I created.

 

 

The second picture is the opening of the card .

This is a 8"x8" size card that I adjusted the size from a Sam Callcott You Tube vidio.

The flowers around the aperture and on the front are Tattered Lace Dies and I coloured them with Alchol Markers.

I made the stick pin on the front.

I am very late with my entry into the Rudolph Days Challenge for March which can be found HERE 

I have made 6 quick cards to enter.

 

These are all 6"x6" in size and made with a Paper Boutique 8"x8" pad of paper.

The silver mirri parts were snippets left over from other cards I have made.

The Christmas lights die used is from Temu and I coloured it and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.

So here is what I created for my Son's Birthday as he loves Camper Vans.

I added some glossy accents to the windows and lights.

BEE TISSUE BOX

 

Hi and welcome to all my very talented and craft loving friends.

I hope all are keeping well and coping with the rain and wind again.

I have another Tissue Box I made to show you.

I make these out of the snippets of box card left over from my 8"x8" boxes I make.

Just glue paper onto the front and sides and then decorate.

Glitter card stock snipptes too and from Crats Artist 12"x12" paper pad, but it doesn't die cut filgaree dies very well.

GREAT GRANDDAUGHTER'S 2nd BIRTHDAY CARD

 

Hi and welcome to all my very talented and craft loving friends.

Last year it was my Great Granddaughter's 2nd Birthday and she loves Frozen.

So I bought some Frozen wrapping paper to make her a card.

 

I also decorated the envelope too.

 

This is a 8"x8" size card.

I backed the wrapping paer with glued card stock to be able to use it.

Glitter card stock is Tonic.

SNIPPETS BOOKMARK

 

Hi and welcome to all my very talented and craft loving friends.

I am here with my entry into the Snippets Playground challenge which started yesterday.

I was asked to make a 70th Birthday card and box for my daughter in law's Aunt which I shall show at a later date.

So out of the paper left over I decided to make a book mark for her too.

 

Snippets used after cutting off the bookmark part.

 

The white card on the left is snippets left over from makeing the box for the card.

I cut out the bookmark and glued it to the box card then I added some glitter film which has a sticky back to it to the front.

 My friend gave me a sheet of the glitter film I used.

Rounded the corners and sanded the edges to make it smooth.

The cord and tassle were from an old Birthday card which I saved years ago.

Just added a bead and charm to it.

Another weekend already again we are wooshing through February especially as it's a short month too.

Today I have a card and box I made for a lady that lives in the flats near me and she invited me to her Birthday party as she is on the committee I chair for functions we organise for residents.

I did my usual of putting lots of little cards inside for everyone to sign.

I was asked by a friend to make this for her Grandson's 18th Birthday recently so this is what I came up with.

Tried to incorporate the colours from the playstation images into the card and box.

ANNIVERSARY CARD

 

Hi and welcome to all my very talented and craft loving friends.

Is it very dismal where you live we have had 3days of rain here in my part of Kent, I suppose  shouldn't grumble at least it's not snow and icy weather.

Today I have an Anniversary card I made recently.

 

This is a 8"x8" size card.

Which I think you may know is my fave size card to make.

Was diappointed about the Happy Anniversary sentiment as it doesn't show up much.

I cut out my heart with a Tattered Lace Die and glued the edges with the edge of the die that doesn't attach in a cream colour which I cut out and put on the back of the heart if that makes sense to you with my discription.

THROWBACK VALENTINES CARD MADE IN 2016

I  have no one to make Valentines cards for now so I am showing you one I made in 2016 for my dear hubby. 

Just in case any of my new followers haven't seen it.

 

This was a digi image coloured with promarkers.

It came without the paper top so I designed that myself and cut it out by hand.

A FREIND'S 80th BIRTHDAY CARD AND BOX

My craft friend who lives near me turned 80 last January 2023.

Not had chance to show this card till now.

This is a 8"x8" size card and box I made to fit it.

I used some embossed pearlised card in white and the Royal Blue glitter card is Tonic.

Flowers from Amazon a few years ago just added Blue Print Sketch Disstress Ink to the edges.

Made the stick Pin on both the card and box.

BLUE TISSUE BOX

 

Hi And welcome to all my very talented and craft loving friends.

Now I said I have lots of creations to show you that I have made, so sorry for posting so much, but it does make a change for me.

It was a promise I made myself to blog more this year.

 

 

I make these tissue boxes with  snippets of box card left over from when I make my 8"x8" size boxes.

The paper is a dwonload from Etsy isn't it gorgeous.

I fussy cut out the bird and decoupaged it.

Rest of items used from my stash.

I have just realised that paper is a Nbus item so I can join Darnells Nbus challenge with this.
