It's the 1st of December and time for anther challenge over at

MOVING ALONG WITH THE TIMES

The challenge this month is Christmas and you have till the 30th of December to enter.

Our host for this months challenge is the lovely Wendy.

As we have a few of our team members not able to post I decided to make 2 cards again.

The first card is a 7"x7" size.

The 2nd card is a 7"x5" size.

On the 1st card I used freebie stamps again on the outside and the holly stamp inside is a Lavinia one.

This card was stamped by hand.

On the 2nd card I used a Choles stamp and used a stamp platform to stamp the image and coloured it in with Derwent Water Colour Pencils and some Uniball Glitter Pens to enhance some of the colours.

I finished it off with splatters of white bleed proof ink for the snow.

Thank you for your visit and precious time.

I really appreciate every visit and wonderful comment you make.

Just added a touch of stencilling to the edges of the cards with Distress Oxide Ink.

The stamp used was a freebie from a stamping magazine a few years ago when I used to subscibe to it.

Verse inside was stmped with a platform.

LAVINIA STAMPED BIRTHDAY CARD

Hi and welcome to all my very talented and craft loving friends.

Well this month I have done more posting than most of the year.

On Tuesday was my DIL Birthday so this is what I made her for a change from my usual cards.

This is a 7"x7" size card.

I created this scene with various Lavinia Stamps and a Lavinia Stencil.

The background I created with Cosmic Shimmer Pixie Powders which I have had for quite a few years.

I edged my design with a black permenant marker instead of using a black card to matt it.

I added my verse after I photographed it.

I also stamped the envelope but forgot to photograph it.

All stamping was done by hand.

Thank you for your visit and precious time.

I really appreciate every visit and wonderful comment you make.

Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

A MASCULINE CARD FOR A CHANGE.

Hi and welcome to all my very talented and craft loving friends.

Wasn't the funeral a very moving day of events I for one was glued to the TV.

So very sad and moving all the  once in a life time memory for most of us.

Today I have a masculine card for a change.

This I made for my BIL who plays golf every day with his brother since my sister passed away in 2016.

So glad he still has his brothers to help him get over the loss of my sister as they were married for many years my sister was 16 and my BIL was 18 when they got married in 1960.

His other brother lives in Belfast and has a child who competed in Ice Skating to a very sucessful level too and won lots of trophies as well.

It was funny as my sisters and I were a family of 3 girls and she married into a family of 3 boys.

This is a 8"x8" size card.

The card stock is from Hunkydory and didn't need much else as the card stock says it all.

Just added a green holographic

matt layer.

Thank you so much for your visit and precious time.

I really appreciate every visit and wonderful comment you make.

Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

A LAVINIA STAMPED ANNIVERSARY CARD

Hi and welcome to all my very talented and craft loving friend.

Been playing with my Lavinia stamps again.

My youngest Son and his wife had an Anniversary last Friday and on Saturday held a barbecue for all the family and it was lovely to all get together again.

The weather wasn't too bad and ended up staying till very late as everyone was enjoying chatting to each other.

My Daughter in Law made a yummy plum bakewell for afters as they have a plum tree in their garden.

Well as usual I digress so this is the card I made for them.

This is a 7"x7" size card.

I cut my card to 6.25 in size and  put black permanent pen around the edges instead of mounting it on black card stock.

I inked the background with Distress Oxide Inks.

Then stamped Rory and Darcy with Versa Fine Onyx Black Ink.

I made a mask for my Sun and inked around it and then stencilled some hearts in it.

Then I stamped flowers and foilage stamps in different colour Versa Claire Inks to give it depth.

I also added a Blue Print Sketch DOI to the sedges to darken them and draw your eye into the centre.

Finally I added some posca white pen dots and some glitter pen to Rory and Darcy's wings and stems of foilage.

Last of all I Stamped Rory and Darcy on the envelope.

All the stamping was done by hand and no stamp platform was used.

Thank you so much for your visit and precious time.

I really appreciate every visit and wonderful comments you make.

Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

MY FIRST MEMORIES OF OUR BELOVED LATE QUEEN ELIZABETH 11

Hi and welcome to all my very talented and craft loving friends.

I was so saddened by the news on hearing it late Thursday evening about our beloved Queen, I remember celebrating her Coronation when I was just 4 years old.

If you have been folowing my blog for many years you would have seen the picture of me in a Coronation Cake outfit my Mother made for me to go to fancy dress ball.

I actually won first prize too.

This is the photo taken by the South Wales Argus of the first second and third.

I am the one in the centre of the picture the one on my left is my older sister don't know the name of the girl on my right.

My mother printed Westminster Abbey on my blouse I cannot imagine how she idid that in 1953 and then studded items around the cake skirt.

On the top was a the Royal Coach and Horses my mother bought to put on there, apparantly they are worth a lot of money now.

Don't know what happened to mine I most proberly played with it and broke it.

Here is acloser picture of my outfit and the cake.

Thank you so much for sharing my memories.

I really appreciate every vist and wonderful comments you make.

Lots of crafty love. JENNY.

A COUPLE OF CHRISTMAS CARDS

Hi and welcome to all my very talented and craft loving friends.

Today I have a couple of Christmas cards I made out of card left over from other Christmas cards I made.

So I thought I would stamp these and use up the card that was left over.

I had some A6 cards in Ivory in my drawer that I keep my card stock in so they fitted perfectly on them.

As I say these are A6 in size.

I just cut one inhalf to make the vertical tent fold one.

I used a stamp I had as a freebie from a stamping magazine a few yearsago with red pigment ink.

The sentiment stamp used on the first ard is a Woodware one and the sentiment stamp used on the second card is a Inkylicious Stamp.

Thank you so much for your visit and precious time.

I really appreciate every visit and wonderful comment your make.

BIRTHDAY CARD FOR DAUGHTER

Hi and welcome to all my very talented and craft loving friends.

We had a thunder storm and some heavy rain last night.

It was much needed in my area of Kent as my grass in the garden looks dead and my Daughter hasn't had to cut the grass all summer this year so far.

Sometimes my Son does it and sometimes my Daughter does as my garden slopes to the side and bottom of the garden and I can't manage the lawn mower any more because of the slopes.

Today I have a card I made for my Daughter's Birthday back in the begining of July.

This is a 8"x8" size card which is my preferred size if I am not posting it.

The lovely glittery ombre paper is from Craft Artist from C&C.

I decided to attach part of some lace I had in my stash to the back of the oval die cuts.

The oval dies are from Crafts Too and bought from Amazon.

I used some lace daisies with some bling for the centres.

The Happy Birthday die is a Sue Wilson one and typed sentiment is fron a Hunkydory book of typed sentiments bought from Amazon.

Thank you so much for your visit and precious time.

I really appreciate every visit and wonderful comments you make.
