CHRISTMAS CARD AND BOX

Hi, and a big warm welcome to all my very talented, and craft loving friends.

Also a big warm welcome to anyone that just pops in to look at what I have created.

Well we have had snow in my part of Kent it snowed all day on, and off just lightly, but yesterday evening we had about 3 inches.
It is snowing slightly at the moment too.
So you all know where I am going to be today.

While cleaning my teeth this morning one of my fillings dropped out so I now have a great hole in there, typical as I'm not going out in this weather to the dentist.
Luckily it's not aching yet or I'll have to.

I made this card a box before Christmas, and haven't had the time to show it yet.
I was asked to make this with quite short notice for someone for their partner.

This is a 8"x8" size card, and box I made to fit it.
The Robin image in the centre was from an re-cycled Christmas card.
I used my Crafters Companion embossing folder with Christmas words again.
Cut up at Tattered Lace Holly Frame die to fit the aperture.
Sentiment done on the computer, and edged with a red sharpie pen.
Finally I added a flower arrangement with berries.
I would like to enter this into the Allsorts Challenge, and the things beginning with B are Bird, Branch, Bow, Berries, and finally Box.

Thank you so much for your visit, and your precious time.
I very much appreciate every visit, and comment.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

RUDOLF CHALLENGE FEBRUARY 2018 ...........DT Z FOLD CARD

Hi, and a big warm welcome to all my very talented, and craft loving friends.

Also a big warn welcome to anyone that may just want to view my work.

Today is the start of the
 FEBRUARY 2018 RUDOLF CHALLENGE.
  over at
Scrappymo's blog HERE
The challenge runs from the 25th of the month till the end of the month, and as always it's anything goes as long as it's Christmas.
One entry per person to the challenge.
There is also a great prize you can win thanks to Maureen's generosity.

So here is my DT card I made for the challenge.

This is a second angle view of the card.
I don't know about you but this last angle plays tricks with the eyes.
I cut my Z fold shape and then I cut my layers and stamped the background with a lovely stamp that was freebie from the Creative Stamping magazine this I did with Memento Lady Bug Ink by hand as the Misti just isn't right for background stamping I find.
I glittered the bottom half to look like snow.
I then stamped my Reindeer in the same ink with the Misti, and fussy cut them out to prance in the snow.
I stamped the sentiment with the Misti too.
The Merry and Bright die was a gift from Maureen for being one of her DT last year so I cut that out 5 times from Snippets, and glued it together to make it stand out.
The snowflakes die cuts I glittered, and they were part of a prize I won over at
K and A  blog a short while ago so thank you so much Andrea for my lovely winnings.

Thank you so much for your visit, and precious time.
I really do appreciate every visit, and comment.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

GETTING INKY AGAIN FOR THIS ANNIVERSARY CARD

Hi, and a big warm welcome to all my very talented, and craft loving friends.

Also a big warm welcome to anyone that just pops by to look at my work.
I would love you comment if you can, spare the time.

Well I do hope you all had a great weekend.

I have been getting inky again for a couple of challenges.
So I made this card with an Anniversary in mind that is next month.
Been doing a happy dance again as I am pleased with how this turned out again.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
I got my Izink inks out again to play, and make my background by inking my glass mat and mopping up the ink drying with the heat gun between each layer.
I then cut out the trellis corner with the JND Sandwich Box Die.
I also inked up some more paper with my inks to make the rose.
I spritzed them all with Tattered Angels Mica spray to give them a lovely sheen.
I also made my rose leaves out of snippets of paper, and inked those too.
The die cut leaves were also cut from snippets of card, and  mopped up ink, and the mica spray.
Stamped my sentiment on more snippets with the  ink.
The silver bling butterflies on a string were sent to me by my sister.
I used Pink, Purple, and Pearls on my Butterfly Challenge entry.

Thank you so much for your visit, and precious time.
I really do appreciate every visit, and wonderful comment.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

A CARD MADE FROM WENDY'S SKETCH ON F/BOOK

Hi and a big warm welcome to all my very talented, and craft loving friends.

Also a big warm welcome to anyone who just chances on here to view my work.

Now Wendy who is our team leader on the MAWTT Challenge sets a sketch challenge on Facebook every week on her craft page so I really wanted to enter this week and more if I get chance.

Here is what I created out of her sketch which I am quite pleased with.  One of those cards you want to do a happy dance after making.

This is the sketch.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
I made the background a while back when using Izink inks and this is what I created with mopped up inks.
Today I spritzed it with a Tattered Angels Mica Spray to give it a sheen.
Then I cut out my apertures, and added some Snippets of coloured card from my snippets box.
The JND flowers and leaves were also made from snippets.
The lovely trellis die cuts in the middle of the ovals came from JND's Sandwich box die, and was cut out of the pieces of the apertures.

Thank you so much for your visit and precious time.
I really appreciate every visit.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

CHERRIES AND CUPCAKE BIRTHDAY CARD

Hi, and a big warm welcome to all my very talented, and craft loving friends.
Also a big warm welcome to anyone just popping to look at my work.

I do hope your weekend is going well, and you are having nice weather where ever you may live.
It's been sunny, and quite warm today in my part of Kent well at least a lot warmer than it has been.

About a week ago my Daughter wanted a card for her works to give to a colleague, and she wanted it with cherries on, and it was wanted for the next day now she looked for one while we were food shopping, but with no hope of that I said I have just the right paper on a CD, and I'll make you one, and you can pick it up on your way to work tomorrow.
So I made this card in about an hour for her.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
The papers, and the image came from Cupcake Crafting CD Tumble Tizzy Pastime Collections.
This was bought very cheap from Creative Crafting World.
I used my Paper Boutique Doily Die for the doily.
Silver mirri card form Hunkydory.
Just added some glitter to the top of the cupcake icing.

Thank you so much for your precious time, and wonderful comments.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

BUTTERFLY CHALLENGE...94 SPIN THE WHEEL WITH THE LETTER C

Hi, and a warm welcome to all my craft loving, and talented friends.
Also a warm welcome to any visitors that may just pop by.

Weather still cold at the mo.
I do hope you are all looking forward to the weekend.

Finished my entry for the Butterfly Challenge lunchtime so I thought I would post this as soon as I could.
There is a new formula this time around, and you have to choose from the wheel that is on the challenge.
I chose Cornflower Blue and checks at least I hope it is Cornflower Blue, and of course a Butterfly or Butterflies.

This is a 6" x5" size card when folded flat except for the Butterflies which makes it slightly taller.
I got the idea from a lady on C&C yesterday, but mine is slightly different.
I used snippets of paper on this and inked the edges with Brilliance Ink Pearl Ice Blue which was the nearest to cornflower blue I could find.
Stamped the sentiment with Izink Petrole and this stays wet enough to heat emboss with Silver Pearl Embossing powder.
Tried it with the Ice Blue and it came out white pearl.
The butterfly border is cut from Snippets, and you can buy it from the Ducks DooDahs website, and was very cheap, the link is on my sidebar.
I also inked those with Brilliance Ink.

Thank you so much for your visit, and precious time.
Still having probs with my back so commenting in stages as I don't want a recurrence of my slipped disc.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

JOHN LOCKWOOD'S SANDWICH BOX AND CARD

Hi, and a big welcome to all my craft loving, and talented friends.
Also a big welcome to any visitors just looking in.

The weather is so cold at the moment so I do hope you are all keeping warm.
It did warm up slightly with some sun yesterday morning, but that disappeared by lunchtime.

Last week I bought John Lockwood's Sandwich Box Die, and yesterday evening was the first time I could play with it.
Not entirely happy with the result as I made a few mistakes, but you learn by your mistakes.

This is a 6"x6" size card.
For the box I had the idea of putting masking tape behind silver mirri card and embossing it with the lattice part of the die, and then fitting it into the back of the cut out lattice part.
That was quite fiddly and not that happy with the result.
I also made a mistake with the hinge of the box a lesson learnt for next time.
I wouldn't use mirri card again either as it picks up lots of dusty bits which I didn't notice till I took the photos.

Forgot to say the mirri card used for the inlay of the box was Snippets so I will join my playground friends with this.

Thank you so much for your visit, and precious time it is sooooooooo! appreciated.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

GRANDSON'S BIRTHDAY CARD

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.

Well it was snowing first thing this morning, but as I type this there is some beautiful sunshine out there.
It does make one feel a lot warmer to see the sunshine after so many dull and wet days.
I do hope it's the same wherever you may live.

Today I have a card I made for my Grandson who turned 19 last week.
Oh my how time does fly I remember looking after him when he was little before he went to school.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
I decided to use more of my stamps this year to make cards, as I subscribe to Creative Stamping magazine and every month you get so many wonderful stamps with their issues.
The ones I used were Sheena Douglas ones that came last month with the magazine, and an old Grandson one I had from years ago.
Used iZink to stamp with.
Kept the card quite flat for postage.
No dies were harmed on this project.LOL

Thank you so much for your visit, and precious time.
I really appreciate your wonderful comments.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

RUGBY BIRTHDAY CARD

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.

I do hope you are having a great weekend.

Now as the Rugby starts today, and hubby is sat watching it so I thought I would show you a card I made for my Granddaughter's Hubby.
He is a sports teacher in a school, and played Rugby in Uni.
So this card I made for his Birthday which was back in October last year.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
I found the image on the Internet, and then I made the backing paper on my 3D2 CD from the image.
I decoupaged the image of the rose found some images of a Rugby Ball and Boots on another CD.
His name I die cut 3 times and glued together to make it stand out better.

Thank you so much for your visit, and precious time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

A VERSON ON A TYPE OF Z FOLD CARD...FOR MY SON

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.

Sorry I have a 2nd post today as I wanted to join the Allsorts Challenge this week.

Now when you see what I have been working on you will understand why the top of my spine was playing up.
There was lot of crafting involved in this I can tell you, and I made some silly mistakes too that took me a while to rectify, but now I am so happy with the results.
I have used my my fave Graphic 45 papers for this as I do love their designs.

I saw a Kathy Clement's U Tube video and I do love her work so this is my version of her work.
HERE is a link to the U Tube video.

The base of this card is a 8"x8" size.
Now I made a mistake and mine wouldn't stand up so I put a tent style back on mine.
The papers are all Graphic 45.
The images are from the Hunkydory USB, and the post card is a MCS image.

Thank you so much for your visit, and all the wonderful comments you make it really thrills me to know you like my work.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.
