A QUICK CHRISTMAS CARD

Hi, and welcome to all my very talented, and craft loving friends.

Hubby is still quite weak, but has lots more colour in his cheeks now.
He is on his last week of injections, and hopefully will improve from then on.
We may have to try,  and get some physio for his right arm and leg as they are still very weak, and he has to think carefully when using them as it doesn't seem to come naturally to him any more.
This week he has had a heart monitor on for a week too so they can look at what's going on there.
Things are very hectic with Hospital appointments, and as he always helped me so much around the house I am having to do it all which is quite exhausting.
As I don't sleep too well with my RLS I quite often can be crafting at night.
Here is a quick card I made.

This is a 4"x4" size card.
The paper with the forest scene is Hunkydory, and the fox is a freebie stamp which I stamped with Izink Ink, and water coloured with the the Izink Inks, and then added some black sharpie for the eyes, snout, and the edge of the paws.
I also added some white gel pen to his tail, ears, and his neck.
Then I created a shadow under his body with Memento London Fog Ink.
Forgot to say I fussy cut him out and adhered him to the scene.

Thank you so much for your visit, and precious time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

CHRISTMAS CARD

Hi, and welcome to all my very talented, and craft loving friends.

Update on Hubby we have now found out by phoning the Doctor, and saying he was still very tired, and just walking to the bathroom was exhausting him, that he is Anaemic, very low in Vitamin B12, and Folic Acid.
This showed up on his bloods they took at the Hospital when in AE, but nothing was done about it.
Gives you real confidence in the health system doesn't it.
He is now having B12 injections twice a week, and taking iron tablets, and folic acid ones.
Hopefully we will see some improvement soon.

While looking after him I have sneaked a few odd hours in the evening when I am not exhausted myself to catch up on some Christmas cards.
So I was delighted to see the Allsorts Challenge this week was Christmas.
So here is one of my makes.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
The paper on the front is Hunkydory I just added some snow bought from Mrs Duck's craft shop which you will find a link to on the right side of my blog if you are interested.
The VW car with the Christmas Tree is a freebie stamp from Creative Stamping  Magazine.
I stamped it with my Misti, and Versafine Ink and then heat embossed it with black embossing powder.
Coloured it with Promarkers, and then cut it out and glued it to the scene.
I used Memento London Fog to create the tyre marks in the snow.
Just remembered I forgot the snow on the car, and tree. LOL.
The sentiment was also a freebie stamp, and the inside verse was one too.
The lovely stitched squares inside were a buy from my winnings at the Allsorts Challenge, and are from Swedish House Crafts.

Thank you so much for your visit, and precious time.
I really appreciate your visits especially as I haven't had time to reciprocate.
Lots of crafty love.   JENNY.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges.

THANK YOU CARD

Hi, and welcome to all my very talented, and craft loving friends.

Thank you so much for your well wishes on my hubbies health probs.
The outcome is that he did have another stroke back a month ago, and we weren't told till he visited the TIA Clinic on a follow up consultation last Tuesday he was then prescribed a fit medicine for the problem caused on the Saturday night when we spent so many hours at AE.
This caused him more symptoms just like he was having another stroke.
He currently can't use his right arm properly or his right leg and has to walk with a walking frame for small amounts as he gets very worn out.
So I won't be about much as I have look after him quite a lot.

In the meantime here is a Thank You card I made to say thank you to you all.
I won the stamps I used on a good blog friends posts where she often offers a card or stamps to her peeps that comment so if you are interested in visiting her, and I must say it is well worth a visit here is her blog.

This is a 6"x6" size card.
The background is created DOInks.
Then I used Versafine Ink for the stamped design.

Thank you so much for your visit, and precious time.
I cannot tell you how much I appreciate each visit.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.
