I also lost my first Husband to the big C when I was quite young. I have 3 children and 3 stepchildren. 12 Grandchildren and 5 Great Granddaughters and 3 Great Grandsons. I have been card making for about 25 years. I have made things all my life as my Mum and Grand Mother taught me lots of hobbies. I have made my own clothes, knitted garments, hand embroidered items of clothing, and crocheted items too. I love to bake my own cakes as well.

GRANDDAUGHTERS BIRTHDAY CARD

Hi and welcome to my blog all my craft loving
friends, and visitors.
Sorry I have been missing again, but my DH is
suffering with a slipped disc very low in his spine,
and can't sit up or walk about without being in
extreme pain, so he has been in bed lying on his
left side for a week.
We thought it was his hip, but it turns out to be a
slipped disc they think.
Pain killing meds don't seem to be working either.
So you may not see a lot of me over the next few
weeks, although I am managing to craft a little,
and have lots of cards to show, as I have a few
Birthdays in January.
It's my youngest Granddaughters Birthday today,
and here is the card I made her, she is 7 today, and
loves the Rainbow Ponies.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
I embossed the purple card with a A4 Special
Touch Mask.
I cut out the doily on my ScanNcut.
I added lots of snippets of coloured card I had
used on other cards, so I'm off to join in the
playground with this.

Thank you for your visit and time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

I would like to enter this into the follwoing
challenges.

Your Grand Daughter will love this Jenny, I do!! Sorry to hear that your Hubby is suffering, I sympathise, when we were building the stables I did just that and had to take morphine tablets for weeks. I couldn't get comfortable at all in the beginning and had to eat my meals on the floor lying on my side!! It did eventually ease, although I wasn't able to ride for months afterwards. 11 years on and I still have numbness down the leg of my "bad" side xx
