BUTTERFLY CHALLENGE CARD

Hi and welcome to my part of blog land, all my
craft loving friends, and visitors.
I am sorry I have been missing again, but my DH
is having a lot of pain in his left hip, and as he is
usually my head cook and bottle washer, so I'm
having to do all the cooking and washing up jobs
again.
You don't realize how much more time that gives
you to craft and blog, until it's gone.
I have also had to go for my 3 yearly mammogram
again, and unluckily I had the same butcher of
a woman I had last time.
There are usually 2 woman in the mobile unit,
and I just had to have the one that treats you like
a piece of meat again this time.
Well enough of my moaning, but I just had to
mention the woman in the breast screening unit,
as she makes me so mad.
Now on to my Butterfly Challenge card.

This is a five and half inch square card.
The paper was printed off a CD I bought for just
a £1 at Creative Crafting World called Tumble
Tizzy Pastimes Collection.
The image is a Hunkydory one called Fairy
Sweethearts.
I used a Sue Wilson Die, cut up, and put around
the edge of the heart for the decorative edge.
The bottom lace wahsi sort of tape my sister
sent me as a present, and I cut out the thank you
on the scanNcut.

Thank you for your visit, precious time, and the
wonderful comments you make.
I very much appreciate each one.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

I would like to enter this into the following

LARGE SNOWFLAKE CARD

Hi and welcome to my blog all my craft loving
friends, and visitors.
Well we are moving into January quite nicely now.

Thank you for all your good wishes and comments.
I very much appreciate every one.

Sorry I have another Christmas card to show you,
as I have made a few while not blogging.
I live in a bungalow in a sheltered housing complex, and there is a block of flats on this
complex which houses about 36 retired residents.
So this is the card I made for everyone that lives there.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
The papers are Hobbycraft again, and I cut out
the large snowflake with my scanNcut.
I must admit the scanNcut does make short work
of lots of projects, and this card was made very
quickly in less than an hour.
I used some snippets of red card for the background of the Merry Christmas and the
inside stars, so I'm off to join in the antics of the
playground after a absence to a few weeks.
As this paper was a never before used one, I am
joining Darnell in her Nimbus Challenge too.

Thank you for your visit and precious time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE AND
MAY YOU ALL HAVE A VERY
HEALTHY, WEALTHY, AND WONDERFUL
                                2015.

Hi and welcome to my blog all my very lovely friends, and visitors.
I am so sorry I have been missing for nearly a
month, but I had family staying, and my DH and
I have not been well.
Hubster is still a bit poorly, and still has a nagging
cough which won't allow him to sleep.
We had a nice quite Christmas, and I did manage
to make a few Christmas cards in that I needed
for certain people.
So here is one of them.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
The paper is from Hobbycraft, and I cut the
swirly center piece with the ScanNcut.
The paper is a new one I have never used before
so I can join Darnell and her Nimbus challenge.

Thank you for all your good wishes, and some
of you said you missed me so that was music
to my ears, to know I was missed.
Lots of crafty love. JENNY.

BABY SHOWER CARD

Hi and welcome to my blog all my very talented
craft loving friends, and visitors.
Well here we are again on Sunday, and the days are marching on to Christmas.
I don't know about you but I am getting very little
time to craft and comment at the mo.
Just so much to do especially with 12 grandchildren, and 2 little great grandchildren to buy for, and also trying to get fitter, after my
slipped disk episode.

This morning I spent at my Son's house helping
my 10 year old grandson make a lemon drizzle
cake, while his parents, and his sister went to my
Son's work pantomime.
Dylan thinks he is to cool to go to pantomimes
now.
I must say he made an excellent job of the lemon
drizzle cake, and he enjoys cooking.
He is also making a Christmas Cake at school.

So on to my Baby Shower card, got a phone call
on Thursday to ask if I could make one for
Sunday as my granddaughter was going to a Baby Shower.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
I made all the items used on this card on the
Brother ScanNCut.
I downloaded the trellis design from John Bloodworth the Gentlman Crafter's blog so
thank  you very much for the files John.
The inside was a mask I bought ages ago, and I
scanned it in and it cut it out beautifully, and so
much time saved there.

Thank you for your visit, time, and the wonderful comments you make.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

OLDIE FOR FRIDAY.

Hi and welcome to my blog all my craft loving
friends, and visitors.

Well would you believe it's Friday again, and
time to share an Oldie for Friday with Erika  HERE
Would love you to join in with this fab idea, there
are no prizes, but it's all worth it, just to see some
of your older creations.
Well here is mine this is an idea I got from
Patricia of http://www.patricia-summerhousecrafts.blogspot.co.uk/ as she made
some beauties of these.

This is made out of 2 A4 pieces of card, or 1 A3.
It would look very nice if you had double sided
card also.
Thank you so much for your visit, and the wonderful comments you make.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

CREAM AND BROWN BIRTHDAY CARD

Hi and welcome to my blog all my very talented
friends, and visitors.
I can't believe it's Wednesday already, time seems to be speeding on to Christmas.

Well my granddaughter took me to see Paddington
at the cinema yesterday, and I really enjoyed it.
I do like a film that makes you feel happy watching it.

Today I have a Birthday card for my eldest sister,
my  2 sisters are just 4 days apart from each others
Birthdays, one is on the 4th and my eldest sister is
on the 8th.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
The flowers I used are from and old jumper,
and don't they look pretty.
I used one of my stick pins I made too, and
finished it of with some Cosmic Shimmer Gold
PVA glue dots.

Thank you for your visit, time, and the wonderful
comments you make.
Lots of crafty love. JENNY.

SUE WILSON'S HIGH AND LOW TECHNIQUE

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends,
and visitors.

Thank you for your visit, time, and wonderful comments you make on my work.
I very much appreciate all of them.

Wow can you believe my blog has gone back to
normal all on it's own.
I am so pleased it has, as I was too scared to
touch anything in case of doing more damage.
Don't know if it was anything to do with blogger.
Well enough of my blog probs, here is a card
I made for my Sister's Birthday using the High,
and Low technique Sue Wilson has demoed on
her blog.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
I followed Sue's advice and used double sided
tape around the edges of my card, and then put
Creative Expressions Cosmic Shimmer polished
silk glitter turquoise on it.
Then I followed Sue's technique for the high and
low of the glitters on her Austrian Die.
The daisies are Tattered lace, and the leaves are
Sue Wilson's Finishing Touches Faux Quilled
Leaves.
I used up some snippets to cut out some of the
smaller die parts, so I'm off to join in the girls in
the playground.

Thank you for your visit, and a big thank you
also to those of you that offered me help.
Lots of crafty love. JENNY.

BRACELETS AND BEAD BUTTERFLIES

Hi and welcome to my blog, all my craft loving
friends, and visitors.

I am having troubles with my blog template, so
if anyone has any suggestions on how to cure
this I would love their help.
There is no HTML code missing, and my encoding is right.

Well while I'm here I thought I would show you
some lovely bracelets and some beaded butterflies
my sister made, and sent the other day.
She is so clever with her jewellery making.

Also when I was named crafter of the month for
November in the Create and Craft e mail that
went out to all Craft members, I received this
lovely bouquet of flowers from Create and Craft.

Thank you for your visit, and your precious time.
Lots of crafty love. JENNY

OLDIE FOR FRIDAY

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends,  and visitors.

Sorry I have been missing again lately, just finding it hard to get everything done at the mo,
as I am on stronger blood pressure meds which
make me quite sleepy throughout the day.
Still they seem to be bringing the blood pressure
down now at last.
I am also trying to do more walking to get fitter
after this years problems with my health, so that
should help too.
In any rate that's enough of my probs ,as there are
people out there with much worse off than me.
So I'm sending big HUGS to those in need of them.

Well it's Friday again and time to join Erika HERE with your Oldie for Friday so here is
mine.

This is a 6"x6" size card.
I borrowed the lovely Poinsettia stamp, and the
Holly stamp from my niece last year.
I stamped the red card with a clear pigment ink,
and then brushed it over with a pearly mica
powder to get this affect.
The poinsettias were coloured in with Promarkers,
and I used Pine Needles DI for the stamping of
the holly.

Thank you so much for you visit, time, and the
wonderful comments you make on my work.
Lots of crafty love. JENNY

RUDOLF DAY NOVEMBER 2014

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends,
and visitors.
Thank you so much for your visit, and time, as I
know time is precious to all of us, especially at this time of year.

Well it's the 25th of the month, and time to join
Sarn HERE with her last Rudolf challenge of
this year.
The challenge runs from the 25th to the end of
the month.
So please try and join in as it's her last challenge.
Next year it will be taken over by Scrappymo.
So here are my entries into this fab challenge.

These are both 8"x8" size.
Not happy with the picture of the white one,, as
it has a cream tinge, but it is a lovely white.
I got the idea for the snowflake wreath from a
U Tube Brother Scan N Cut tutorial.
I embossed my card with the Sue Wilson Holly
Swirls embossing folder.
I then used Versa Mark embossing ink all over it,
and then I brushed it all over with a pearly silver
mica powder.
I cut out lots of 2 different size snowflakes on
my ScanNCut, so much quicker than trying to
die cut them.
The 2nd card I used some lovely Hobbycraft
12x12 paper.
I cut out my Merry Christmas on the ScanNCut,
and then cut out some of the stamps and decoupaged them.

Thank you again for your visit.
Lots of crafty love.

I really do appreciate you visit, and comments.

Well it's Friday again and time to join Erika
HERE with your Oldie for Friday.
I thought I would go with a Christmas theme,
this Friday, so here are some milk cartons I
made last year.

I made these with some lovely card I bought
from Lidl which was very cheap.
Just added some embellies from my stash.

Thank you for your visit and time.
Lots of crafty love.

BUTTERFLY CHALLENGE CARD NO 18

Hi and welcome to my part of blog land, all my
very talented friends, and visitors.

Thank you so much for your visit, and the wonderful comments you make.

Phew I think I have just made it for the Butterfly
Challenge, with about 3 or 4 hours to spare.
This fortnights theme was to use 3 patterned papers.
So here is what I have created for it.

This is a 6"x6" size card.
The butterfly paper is from a DCWV pad called
The Butterfly Garden, and the other 2 are from
Hot off the Press.
I used my Brother ScanNCut to cut out the patterned circles, butterfly border, butterfly, and my corners.
I am still on a big learning curve with it, so just
basic stuff at the mo.
I used Rusty Hinge DI to colour my border, and
the corners.

Thank you again for your visit.
Lots of crafty love.

SHOE SHOPPING ANYONE

Hi and welcome to my blog all my lovely craft
loving friends, and visitors.

Sorry I have been missing, for this week, but lots
of things came up, and one thing led to another,
and here we are on Sunday again so soon.
Now you know when you haven't crafted for a
while, Mr Mojo thinks he is on holiday, and has
to be persuaded, to come back kicking and screaming.
I pondered on this card, and it was going to be
lots of different styles, and papers, before I actually got this design in my head.
It's for my step granddaughter's Birthday.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
I used the Sue Wilson embossing folder Heart
Lattice on red card to go with the topper image.
The image is from the Hunkydory Decoupage
Pad, and it's actually oblong in shape, but I
decided to die cut it oval, as it looked nicer that
way.
The die cut round the oval is the same corner
dies as I have used in the corners.
So don't just think corners on your dies.
I used some snippets to mount the image on to
make it like card stock, and gems were snippets
too.
So I'm off to the playground to join in this weeks
antics.

Thank you for your visit, and wonderful
comments you always make.
Lots of crafty love.

POPPY CARD FOR REMEMBRANCE DAY

Hi and welcome to my part of blog land, all my
craft loving friends, and visitors.
I do hope you are all enjoying your weekend,
although the weather is not it's nicest in some parts.
Today as it's Remembrance Sunday, and I have my
poppy card made to commemorate all the very
brave men and women who gave their lives so
we can all be what we are today.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
The paper and the image are from the Creative
Crafting CD A Walk in the Countryside.
I made the ribbon poppy with the ribbon I bought
from  HERE. and there is a lovely video tutorial
on there too, so take a look as their products, they are so good, and the service is excellent and quick,
and you pay no postage for anything over £10 so
it's really good value for money I think.
I also bought my poppy ribbon there too.
I used some Glossy Accents on the magnifying
glass.
I also used some snippets to mount my image on,
and for the inside, so I will be popping in at the
snippets playground to see what everybody is up
to.
Didn't put a sentiment on it as I don't know yet
who will receive this.

Thank you so much for your visit,
Lots of crafty love.

ANOTHER CHRISTMAS CARD MADE.

Hi and welcome to my part of blog land all my
friends, and visitors.
Well as I can now tell you a secret I had to keep
for a week, but if you belong to the Create and Craft Club you may already know that they chose
me to be their first Club Crafter of the Month.
I had been sending in photos of some of my cards
for the Spellbinders Gallery and the Tattered Lace
Gallery, and they asked me if I would like to be
their first Club Crafter of the month, of course I
said yes, and I got a £20 credit for doing it.

On to my card for today, this a Christmas one I
have just finished.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
The patterned card was from Hobbycraft.
I used the Sue Wilson Austrian Die Innsbruck.
The pine cones and the fir branches, are Spellbinders Fall Foliage, and I did shape them,
but they look flat in the photo.
I stamped the sentiment, and also stamped the
ivy around it.

Thank you for your visit, time and the wonderful
comments you make.
Lots of crafty love.
