MR FIX IT NO 3

Hi and welcome to my blog dear friends and
visitors.
Sorry I have been AWOL for a day or so, but
I have had family staying with us for a few
days, and also I had an appointment for my
eye problem in Canterbury on Wednesday.
I have been referred back to William Harvey
Hospital in Ashford for a discussion on having
eye surgery, which I'm not at all happy about.
But hey if they can cure my problem with it
then I suppose I should give it a try.
I have not mentioned that my eyes have been
getting steadily worse over the last 3 months.
I now have to sit right in front of the TV, or
peoples faces are distorted, to the right of their
face, and as I had to have a new prescription for
reading glasses within six months of the last one,
it was suggested that I need to been seen by an
eye surgeon.
On a happier note it doesn't seem to affect my
crafting yet, but when I visit your blogs I have
to enlarge the print so I can read it.

Today I have a 3rd Mr Fix it card I made for
my stepdaughter's husband.
He is a builder by trade so was very pleased
with it.

Now the inside.

This is an 8x8 size card.
The image is a Mo Manning one coloured in
with Promarkers.
The papers used were from The Forever Friends
The Good Life Pack.
The embellishments were again buttons bought
from the NEC in March.
I added a washer and screw nut, this idea came
from the lovely Sue Bearhouse's blog a while
back. Thank you Sue for all your inspiration.

Thank you again for your visit, and comments, I do hope I haven't bored you with my eye problem.
I do hope you all have a fabulous weekend.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

Hello Jenny, don't think you ever bore folk telling us what's going one for you, blogging friends are always interested.
I hope they sort out you vision difficulties soon. If it's surgery, and it will help., go for it. We don't realise how precious our bodies are till something goes wrong with them.

Fab card, and just perfect for a builder. Great design and colours.
Have a lovely day Jenny, Hugs, Kate x

Love the card Jenny, I am always so impressed with your projects as you always demonstrate a new way to use things. I wouldn't have ever thought of using banners in that way...it's fab!! I'm sure the eye surgery will be a success, they work such wonders these days and as for boring us...never. When days are bad (or good for that matter) it's always a comfort to know that in crafty world there is always someone there!! xx

Oh Jenny, sorry to hear about your eye problems. Hopefully, if you need the surgery then it will be worth it if it works. It cannot be much fun for you not being able to see things properly

Your card is fabulous, I love that image and such wonderful detailing. Thanks for the mention (and for saying I'm lovely!!)

Take care, I hope you have a great weekend

Hi my little blogging matey! I love your card, it made me smile to see him standing there - my DIY-er always looks slightly dishevelled when he's doing any DIY!!!

I was sorry to hear about your eyes, but the surgeons are taking care of you so keep faith in them!
