Hi and welcome to cardsarus blog spot
My name is Jenny Lawrence and I live in Kent.
My dear and wonderful husband Tony passed away in March 2019
We had been married for 36 years. I also lost my first Husband to the big C when I was quite young. I have 3 children and 3 stepchildren. 12 Grandchildren and 5 Great Granddaughters and 3 Great Grandsons. I have been card making for about 25 years.
I have made things all my life as my Mum and Grand Mother taught me lots of hobbies.
I have made my own clothes, knitted garments, hand embroidered items of clothing, and crocheted items too.
I love to bake my own cakes as well.
Hi and welcome to my blog all my craft loving friends, and visitors. Well I'm back form my sisters in Wales. I had a wonderful time at the NEC and bought lots of craft goodies that I especially wanted. I was limited to what I could bring back though as I have to travel back form Wales by coach, so I couldn't bring any of the lovely card they had. As it was my suitcase weighed a ton.
Today I have an exploding box I made for Mrs A butterfly challenge, I also used snippets from my snippets box for the die cuts so I can join the playground too.

I used the Cupcakecrafting CD Floral Delights by Andrew Hull, for the template and flowered print on the card. I used a lovely yellow silk flower on top and in the center. The leaves are what I bought at the NEC on a ribbon.
I am sorry if I have missed visiting any of you since coming home, but my top of my spine is playing up and I am limited to how much typing I can do till I am in a lot of pain.
Thank you again for your time and visit. Lots of crafty love. JENNY.

Trying to get all my cards for Birthdays done, and also everything else so my DH won't need to do much. Now today I have a card I made for my brother in law, as it's his Birthday 4 days after mine. He used to be a fireman in the RAF years ago, and then went on to being a fireman in the steel works in Wales, before he retired. So the old thinking cap went on again, and this is what I came up with in a hurry as my nephew is visiting them and is taking the card with him.

Hi and welcome to my blog all my craft loving friends, and visitors. A big welcome to my newest follower, and thank you for choosing to follow me. I do hope to see you visiting me quite often to see what I am creating.
Sorry I have been missing for a few days, but I have been very busy, as it's my Grandson's 10 Birthday on Tuesday, so I have been busy baking, looking after him, and his sister while their parents went out Birthday present shopping. I have also had to make his card which I was quite late making, and a card for our keyboard player in our little singing group. So I will stop waffling on, and show you the quick card I made for our keyboard player.

This card is 7"x7" in size. I used an old Hunkydory topper and card to make this. I did my usual thing of copying the card to create the inside. I nearly forgot to say I had a happy accident while making this card. I wanted to use my cosmic shimmer gold glue dots but they were so old they wouldn't go into dots, so I just brushed the deges of the card with it instead, and got that lovely gold effect. I used some of my snippets out of my snippets box for the brown die cut underneath the image, and inside the card.
Thank you again for your time, and visit, and also all your wonderful comments. I will be round to visit your blogs tonight after my singing practice this afternoon, that's if I'm not too tired, as I am getting on and will turn 65 later this week. lol. Lots of crafty love. JENNY.
