Hi and welcome to cardsarus blog spot My name is Jenny Lawrence and I live in Kent. My dear and wonderful husband Tony passed away in March 2019 We had been married for 36 years. I also lost my first Husband to the big C when I was quite young. I have 3 children and 3 stepchildren. 12 Grandchildren and 5 Great Granddaughters and 3 Great Grandsons. I have been card making for about 25 years. I have made things all my life as my Mum and Grand Mother taught me lots of hobbies. I have made my own clothes, knitted garments, hand embroidered items of clothing, and crocheted items too. I love to bake my own cakes as well.

CARD AND BOX FOR NEW GRANDPARENTS


Hi and welcome to all my very talented, and craft loving friends.

I do hope everyone and their family are all okay with this pandemic.
Had a bit of scare with my Daughter as she has has to work throughout, but test came back negative thank goodness. 

I was asked to make this card and box for a perspective new Grandparents.





This is a 8"x8" size card and box I made to fit it.
The spotty card I bought back in January at Sandown Craft Event.
The circle dies are Tattered Lace.
The non shed glitter card is from Hobbycraft.
Baby dies cheap chinese bought a few years ago.
Flowers Wild Orchid Crafts.
Pearls from Hobby house.

Lovely box and card. Not sure if
I will ever feel safe going to a craft show again . The very thought of mixing at such close quarters makes me feel very apprehensive. My garden is my refuge right now . Hugs Mrs A.

This is a wonderful gift for the new grandparents. I love the Tattered Lace circles and cute baby dies. The flowers tipped in the blue are lovely. They will love this.

What a gorgeous card this is Jenny, something to be treasured by the proud Grandparents. Pleased to hear that your Daughter tested negative. We had random screening at work last week. Those that were tested were all negative xx
