RUDOLF DAYS CHALLENGE .....OCTOBER 2022

Hi and welcome to all my very talented and craft loving friends.

Sorry I have been missing this month but it's been a bit of a hectic month with the Macmillan coffe morning at the begining of the month which we collected £172.95 a little down on previous years.

Also my Daughter has been on  holiday from work and we have been going out together.

Had my covid jab also which made me feel ill for 36 hours.

Today I am posting my Rudolf Days Challenge card as it's not my month for DT so I can enter the challenge over at.

SCRAPPYMO'S BLOG

As always it's anything goes as long as it's Christmas.

The challenge runs till the end of the month and you could win a lovely prize too.

ONE ENTRY PERSON

but you can have multiples of cards on the one post if you like.

Here is my entry into this moths challenge.

These are 6"x6" size cards.

Both very similar but just changed the stamped image of the Robin on the branch slightly different on the second card.

All stamping was done by hand on the front of the cards and coloured in with Derwent water colour pencils.

The snow was done with bleed proof White Ink.

Just added a touch of stencilling to the edges of the cards with Distress Oxide Ink.

The stamp used was a freebie from a stamping magazine a few years ago when I used to subscibe to it.

Verse inside was stmped with a platform.

Thank you so much for your visit and precious time.

I really appreciate every visit and wonderful comment you make.

Lots of crafty love. JENNY.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges.

What lovely cards Jenny. Shame the Macmillan fund raising was a little down from previous years but every bit will help. How lovely that you have had time with your daughter. I too have this set from the magazine. There are a number of useful stamps in this set. WakeyL

Gorgeous card Jenny! A sweet little robin stamp, love the stencilling and the matching evelope. I think you did extremely well for Macmillan, not surprising takings down a little in these uncertain times, people are having to be more careful.

Hi Jenny, So glad you have been having a great time with your Daughter.
You did well with the MacMillan fundraiser, especially at this time of high cost of living, I think everyone is trying to do their best to cut down.
Your cards are lovely, the stamp is lovely as is your colouring.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

Beautiful Christmas cards, Jenny.
Sorry to hear that you were unwell after your Covid jab, hope you are fully recovered now. Good to hear that you have been spending time with your daughter. Although your Macmillan coffee morning raised a little less than previous years, it was still a great amount to raise for a very worthwhile cause. xx

Well done on your charity coffee morning Jenny. I am sure they are thrilled with all contributions especially as many are feeling the pinch this year. Hope you have recovered from your Covid vaccination, we have had lots of patients reporting that they have felt unwell, particularly if they had their flu vaccination close. What lovely cards these are, I do love to see robins on Christmas cards xx
