BUTTERFLY CHALLENGE NO 40 E FOR EMBOSSING AND SNIPPETS PLAYGROUND CHALLENGE

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends,
and visitors.
I do hope you are all keeping well, and for those 
a little under the weather big virtual hugs are on 
there way to you, to help.

Well I finally got my card done for the Butterfly
Challenge, as I was having one of my bad nights
again, and couldn't sleep.
Decided to go a bit Shabby Vintage style with this.
Now those of you that know me well know I don't
very often do Shabby Vintage cards, it's bit out of
my comfort zone, but I thought I would have a go 
as I won the wonderful Butterfly Stamp on the
Snippets Playground last year, and I thought it was
time I used it. 

This is a 6"x6" size card.
I distressed the edges with scissors, and then I
used DI Tea Dye on the edges of cream card.
I also letter pressed the music embossing folder
with Tea Dye too.
Stamped the Butterfly, and Butterfly background
inside with Ranger Archival Ink Potting Soil.
I stamped some musical notes with a stamp I 
bought at Lidl Supermarket a couple of weeks 
ago.
The embossing, and the butterfly were done on 
snippets so I will join my friends in the Snippets
Playground for some fun, and games with Miss 
Di, and the lovely Parsnip playing monitor, and
making sure we don't get too boisterous. LOL.

BROWN AND BEIGE GILDING FLAKE CARD

Hi and welcome to my blog all my very talented
friends and visitors.

Well it's the weekend again, and my this week 
has gone by even faster than usual.

Thank you for all your wonderful comments,
that you continually make on my work.

I took the plunge the other day and used my
gilding flakes, which I bought back in March,
and hadn't used.
So I thought what better way to use them, than
with my Sue Wilson dies.
So here is my effort, I hope you like it, as I was
quite pleased with the result.

This is a 8"x8" size card, made from A3 white
PMD card.
I covered my card with beige PMD A4 card.
I then covered some layered card with double
sided sticky paper and used gilding flakes on it.
Then I mounted it onto my card with foam tape.
Next I cut out Sue Wilson's Classic Rose die.
Now part of this rose die just cuts out the 
pattern, and you use the outer part to cut out the
complete flower.
I also cut the flower in half to edge either side
 of my sentiment.

FRIENDSHIP CARD

Hi and good morning to all you wonderful talented people.
THANK YOU sooooo much for your visit and lovely comments
on my work.
It really makes me feel soooooooo happy to know you like my 
efforts.

I will be on my journey home today from South Wales.
So back to normal blogging some time late on Monday.

My card today is one I did for a friend.

This is an 8x8 shaped card.
Matted with black and white card and then some holographic
flowered card.
The sentiment was a Creative Expressions Stamp.
Mounted onto a Parisian Motifs Die cut.
I added some flowers from my stash, a bow and a button.
I hope you like it.
