PIXIES SNIPPETS PLAYGROUND.......GD CARD

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.

I quite enjoy joining my friends at the
This is a challenge run by the lovely Di and her helper Parsnip.
The aim is to use up your mounting snippets of paper, and card amounted by creating your creations.
So when Di asked for people who would like to be a GD I put my name to the list of lovely playground friends who were interested.
So this week she kindly asked me if I would like to be her GD.
Of course I said yes, so thank you so much Di for inviting me to be your GD this time around, and thank you for all your hard work involved in this super challenge.
So here is the card I made out of my Snippets for my GD.

This card is a 5"x4" in size.
I started by cutting the shape of the card out of a 6"x6" card blank with my Couture Enchanted Escapes Die.
I used the next to largest die for the shape as there are 4 sizes to choose from.
Then I cut an aperture from my snippets with the smaller die.
I glued some more snippets left over from another project to the inside of the aperture.
Mounted the whole shape on foam pads for depth.
Cut out some small foliage that came with the die from more snippets, and added some gems, and butterflies given to me by Wendy a good blog friend, and I'm sure she makes these out of snippets too.
Finally I stamped my sentiment with London Fog Ink, and inked around the edges with Milled Lavender Ink.

Thank you so much for your visit, and your precious time.
I very much appreciate your visit, and comments.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

ART DECO BIRTHDAY CARD

Hi and welcome to all my craft loving friends, and visitors.

I do hope everyone is enjoying their weekend.
Today is my Daughter's Birthday, and she was going to see Adele tomorrow night, which was a present from her Daughter, but sadly it was cancelled so she will have to wait a little longer for the concert.
Still all was not lost as her fiance took her to see the show Wicked this afternoon I do hope she liked it.

So here is the card I made her for her Birthday as she loves Art Deco.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
The image, and paper which was really an insert is from the Kanban Klikk USB.
The insert was quite pale so I printed it again on top of the first print to give it more colour.
The oval lacy die cut is a Tattered Lace one that I won on the Allsorts Challenge a couple of months ago.
Cut it out in blue also and used the top and bottom to fill up a gap.
I added a gem to her ring on her finger, and some glitter to her head dress.
Also I added some clear sparkle pen from Crafters Companion to her stole.
Lastly I die cut some flowers out of the card that was left.

Also here is a picture of my Granddaughter on her yearly outing to Ascot Ladies Day the other week.

Thank you so much for your visit and precious time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

MINT BUTTERFLY EASEL CARD

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.

May I welcome my 2 newest followers, and thank you so much for choosing to follow me.
I do hope you can visit as often as your time allows.

I do hope you had a good weekend, and the weather was lovely where ever you may live.

Today I have a card that I made for the Butterfly Challenge.
Just made this challenge with a day or so to spare again.
First of all I thought I didn't have any mint coloured card, but one night when I couldn't sleep with my RLS it came to me that I did have some Topsy Turvey card that had mint on the one side woo hoo.

This card was made with the Tattered Lace Broderie Anglaise Die I won on the Allsorts challenge recently.
I had to cut out the largest die in the set a few times to make the card a bit more sturdy.
The butterfly is a spellbinders one, and the flowers and foliage are Tattered Lace Mini Dies.

Thank you so much for your visit, and precious time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges.

SPRING SHABBY CHIC CARD

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors
.
Well my family arrived yesterday evening, and while I was waiting for them to arrive I managed to make a Spring Card for the Frilly and Funkie Challenge which I like to enter.
Now I had a slight mishap with my hot glue gun making this, and blistered the tip of my middle finger so typing is quite awkward for me at the mo.

This is a 6"x6" size card.
The purple papers are from a Papermania pad I have had for ages.
The daffodil paper is a Cuddly Buddly download.
Flowers from my stash lacy doily is a TL Broderie Anglaise one which I won last week on the Allsorts Challenge.
Butterfly made from petals of a flower.

Thank you so much for your visit.
Lots of crafty love. JENNY.
