TAWIT TAWOO

Good morning to all you wonderful and talented followers and
visitors.
Good grief it's Saturday all ready this week seems to have flown
by even faster than ever.
THANK YOU for all your comments.
I really do appreciate everyone that is made.

I was thinking what is the handiest gadget you have been
bought for Christmas.
Mine was a soup maker my daughter bought me.
It looks like a kettle but is slightly bigger in width, and can you
believe it makes soup in 21 mins.
The soup comes out so lovely, you can have chunky soup or
smooth soup as the machine liquidises it too.
No horrible fat to add so ideal for a diet.
I have even made some with frozen mixed vegetables for supper.

Well I digress this is a card I made a few days ago form a  new
digi image I bought from The Pink Gems website.
While we are on the subject can anyone tell me the name of a
card that doesn't bleed with Promarkers.

Click on the photo to enlarge the image.

Now the inside.

This is an 8x8 size card.
Matted with yellow card and Dovecraft papers.
I have used some doilies under the image.
Some Dovecraft Flowers some wooden owls from Hobbycraft.
Some gold corners and some Spellbinders Foliage 2 round the image and of course the image was coloured with Promarkers.
Thank you again for your visit.
I hope you have a wonderful Saturday and that you manage to
slot some craft into your day.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

This is gorgeous Jenny. I love the cute owl and lovely detailing.
I use Rymans Smooth coated card for colouring with Promarker but there are lots of others which are just as good. I think Joanna Sheen sell some.
Have a good day!

Hi Jenny
love your card, very colourful and cheery.
I am with Sue I love Rymans smooth card fory promarkers. It does show through the back but it will on any card, but i find it one of the cheapest and you get good results. The other one I highly recommend is Joanna Sheens card for markers it's wonderful quality in both thicknesses. The 300gsm is strong enough to cut out your images too if you want to decoupage with them after colouring.
Hope that helps. Loads love Linda xx

Hello Jenny, what a lovely cute card, owls are so in just now. Love your design and colouring. I like the crafter companions card for colouring, I find it doesn't bleed, but will show through the back which it's supposed to do.

I'm new to your blog and have been having a look through and loving all your creations, kate x

Hi Jenny - very late start for me to today. I love your owl! I am still using come card I got from Lili Of The Valley which is great for stamping, but from what I understand no matter how good the quality there is always some bleeding. I just make sure to stamp onto my card and then mat and layer onto my card. Love from Christine x

Evening! Love your card, owls are one of my favourites! I've got to say, I never really have much problem with promarker bleeding - always use an ink like Memento, that's most important. I use smooth papers - stamps away, joanna sheen to really goon ones and also one called Neneh. It will always seal through the paper, even a little if you use letraset graphic art paper. I always do as Christine said and mat and layer the image on to the card. Hope this helps, Carole Z xx

Hi Jenny, A truly beautiful card, I love the owls they are so beautiful, the ones in the corners look like they are wearing spectacles, I love them.
I always use Clarity Theuva card and also Lavinia Stamps card is really good too, but like other postees have said, when you colour in, the colour always seeps through to the back, I always use Memento ink also.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

Hi Jenny

Just been catching up and seeing all of your beautiful cards youve created since I was last on.

They are truly wonderful as always! Todays card is just so adorable I love that owl and all the gorgeous colours and details youve added!
To answer your question about card/paper to use with Pro-Markers, I have always uses Neenah Card Stock which you can find at create and craft, crafters companion or even ebay. It has been the only one that has suited me since I first started colouring.

I Hope you are well and your year is going well so far
lots of love
