90th BIRTHDAY CARD

Good evening to all you wonderfully talented blog friends and
visitors.
THANK YOU for your recent visits and comments.
I really do love reading them all so much.
I also love to visit your blogs and look at your wonderful
creations. We are all so very different in our styles and ideas.

I have had a wonderful lunch with my ladies from my club.
We needed to use up funds that were left in the bank and thought
a couple of lunches would be a great way to do this.

Tonight I have a card I made 2 years ago, and have never shown
on the blog. It was shown on Create and Craft once when I
e mailed it on a Sue Wilson's Spellbinders show. That day I won
a Sue original as I was lucky enough to be drawn out of the
cup of chance.
I made the roses with my Cricut Machine as in those days I
didn't have a rose die. I also coloured the ribbon to match the
card colour with my stamping inks I have.

My roses are nowhere as good as Patricia's of Summerhouse
crafts,  but in those days I thought I was very clever using a
different flower  off the George Basic cartridge. I soon learned
when I started my blog how good you all are at creating these
things with dies.

Now I would like to show you a picture of my Camellia that
has just flowered. Such a pretty flower shape.

Would love to be able to make a similar one in paper.
Thank you again for your visit.
I do hope you all have had a really great day.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

Hi Jenny, how wonderful to win one of Sue's cards, well done.
This is a gorgeous card and I think your roses are quite beautiful, love their colour.
I can't do flowers, my attempt with a SB die was a disaster, so for the moment I just have to use WO ones or make with a punch. Your right though some of our blogging friends do some stupendous flowers.
Have a good evening, kate x

Morning Jenny, I think your card is beautiful, well done for winning one of Sue's cards. Your flowers are gorgeous, I still haven't done anything with my Cricut machine, still in the box, still sealed up ha ha.
Lunches sounds good to me, great idea to use up your excess funds, enjoy.

Hi Jenny,
Bought my felt from Hobbycraft shop, not expensive but does not cut using Dies.
They say to cut with Dies it has to be "wool" felt.
Hope this helps
Hugs
