Hi and welcome to cardsarus blog spot
My name is Jenny Lawrence and I live in Kent.
My dear and wonderful husband Tony passed away in March 2019
We had been married for 36 years. I also lost my first Husband to the big C when I was quite young. I have 3 children and 3 stepchildren. 12 Grandchildren and 5 Great Granddaughters and 3 Great Grandsons. I have been card making for about 25 years.
I have made things all my life as my Mum and Grand Mother taught me lots of hobbies.
I have made my own clothes, knitted garments, hand embroidered items of clothing, and crocheted items too.
I love to bake my own cakes as well.
Good evening dear and talented blog friends and visitors. I am sorry I haven't been about blogging and making comments on your wonderful creations, for a few days. I have been doing some gardening. Got all my bedding plants planted and even my hanging baskets done. Then the old dreaded house work and shopping done, and then today I thought I had better get to grips with making my Sons Birthday Card, as I have left it rather late as it is on Thursday. Sometimes I get right behind with my card making, and other times I am weeks ahead of myself.
THANK YOU for all your last comments on my work. It really gave me a great boost of confidence all those wonderful comments. I sometimes think that my work isn't very good, when I look at all your lovely creations.
So this is my card I made today for my Son.

This card is an 8x8 card. The digi image is a Mo Manning digi image, coloured in with Promarkers and Flexmarkers. The Papers used are from The Forever Friends The Good Life Pack. I have used some embellishments from my stash.
Thank you again for your visit. I hope you are all having a fabulous week, and managing to get lots of crafting done. Lots of crafty love. JENNY.
Good morning dear craft loving friends and visitors. I do hope you are all having a wonderful Bank Holiday weekend. I hope the weather is being kind to all of you. We have lovely sunshine in Ashford Kent, but the wind is still a little cold.
THANK YOU SOOOOOOOO much for all your comments on my last piece of work. I get so pleased when I read all what you have to say about my work, and what is going on with you, at the present time.
I am not doing a lot this weekend maybe some gardening if this weather keeps up, as I have some bedding plants to go in my garden.
Today I have a card I made with a new stamp I bought at my local craft shop. I needed some pinflair glue, and some double sided tape. In my local craft shop if you spend £10 you get a stamp in a card and when that's full you get £10 off your next purchase, so this stamp I bought to make up the difference. I am quite pleased with how it's turned out. Not one of my best designs but it will do.

For this card I distressed the paper with Wild Honey, Victorian Velvet, and Vintage Photo distress inks, and then I stamped my flowers all over it. I added some Cosmic Black Pearl Glue dots to it too. I stamped out my flowers, and coloured them in with Promarkers, and then cut them out and decoupaged them, and added some Stardust Stickles to them. I added some Cosmic Pearl White Glue Dots to the corners and round the SB die cut.
Thank you again for taking the time to pay me a visit and make your wonderful comments. I do hope you all continue to have a fabulous weekend. Lots of crafty love. JENNY.
Good morning dear blog friends and visitors. THANK YOU SOOOOOOOOOO much for all your wonderful comments on my last creations. I really do appreciate every one that you make.
I do hope everyone is fine and bushy tailed today. I am sorry I have not visited your blogs for a couple of days, all those horrible mundane jobs got in the way of me crafting and blogging.
I got up to bright sunshine this morning, and now it's turned all dull and raining. Boo Hoo.
Today I have a really long post, as it's one of my Baby Book cards and boxes which I finished before the last card and box.

This is a 6x6 size card and box. The images and papers are from the Joanna Sheen Baby Love CD except for the one on the first page which is from a small decoupage book. I used the Glitter Girls Cosmic Board to do the hand embossing. Then I added some SB die cuts and bits form my stash as you do.
Thank you again for taking the time out of your busy day to visit and comment on my work. I hope you all have a wonderful crafty day. Lots of crafty love. JENNY.
Good morning dear friends and visitors. THANK YOU for taking the time out of your busy day to visit my blog and make such wonderful comments. I hope you all had a fab weekend with great weather. I am off to my singing practice this afternoon as we have a performance at a nursing home on Thursday afternoon. I'm getting a bit more used to singing in public now as this will be my 3rd performance. Today I have the box that goes with the Baby card, it is all packed up and ready to be posted to my sister in Wales. I hope you like what I have done with the box, as I ran out of the powder blue card I used for the card.

Sorry about the image on the box for some reason it would not come out as clear as the card. This box is to hold an 8x8 size card. I found the lovely teardrop gems in my stash which I bought ages ago form C and C, and I think they go lovely in the cut outs of the SB Tear Drop Circles. Thank you again for your visit. I do hope you all have a wonderful crafty day. Lots of crafty love. JENNY.
Good evening to all you talented craft loving people and visitors. THANK you for choosing to visit my blog and leave such fabulous comments. I am always delighted by your wonderful comments.
I do hope you are all having a super weekend, with lots of crafting time to yourself.
Tonight I have just finished a Baby Boy card for my sister to give her granddaughter, when she has her first Baby at the end of the month. She knows it's a boy so no problems with having to make two different colour cards just in case. Isn't technology great if you decide you want to know the sex of your Baby.

I have used the Joanna Sheen Baby Love CD for the backing papers, and the image. Some doilies under the SB Dies. This was made entirely with SB Dies.
Thank you again for taking the time out of your busy lives to visit me. I hope you all have really wonderful Sunday tomorrow. Lots of crafty love. JENNY.
Good morning to all you wonderful and talented craft loving people and visitors. I hope you all have had really good crafty week. THANK YOU SOOOOOOOOO much for all your wonderful comments on my last card.
I do hope the weather is starting to improve where you live. Here in East Kent it is very lovely one day and quite horrible the next, and still quite cold.
I am in the middle of a Baby Book project at the moment for my sister's granddaughter, and I have been looking after my little great granddaughter's yesterday. So I ma sorry if I haven't been visiting your blogs.
Today I have a box and card I made about 5 years ago, and before I was bought my Grand Calibur. It was for a lady who was retiring from her job, and loves to go golfing. There are quite a few photos for this one, so I hope you are not bored with it.

This is an A5 size card book. Made by gluing 3 A5 size card together and then gluing the center pages together at the back to make the center piece. I decorated it with freebie images found on the internet, and peel offs. Now I know a lot of you very professional card makers don't use many peel offs, but this was made before I was told this by a good crafting buddy. Still I do think they have a place sometime.
Thank you again for taking the time to visit me, and leaving your wonderful comments. I hope you all have a wonderful crafty day. Lots of crafty love. JENNY.
Good morning dear blog friends and visitors. Sorry I haven't been about blogging for a few days. We were away for a long weekend in Mansfield for a wedding reception being held there. I hope to get down to some serious bloging later today, keeping my fingers crossed that I'm not asked to baby sit for my great granddaughter's. I really need to get cracking as I have a boy baby card to make, and also one of those baby book cards I make too.
Thank you for comments on my last card. I really do appreciate everyone that you make.
I went out to do my singing with my group of singers yesterday. It is so lovely see the people in the nursing homes enjoying our little entertainment we do. It was my second outing with them and I am really enjoying it. Wish I had done it many years ago.
Now to my card for today. I made this one a long time ago for a lady in my little club who's sister lives in Scotland. It was a rather quick card because she didn't give me much notice. It also had to be fairly flat as it was being posted.

Now I have some more of my sister's jewellery she makes.
On my card I used the Cupcake CD Floral Delights for the paper. I used a template to make the large 80. Flowers from my stash, with Stickles to glitter them.
Thank you again for your visit. Hopefully I will be round to see what you have all been creating later today, as I have to go food shopping as the cupboard and fridge looks a tad bare. I hope you all have a wonderful crafty day. Lots of crafty love. JENNY.
Good evening to all my talented blog fiends and visitors to my blog. I do hope you have all had really great weekend. The weather cleared up by Sunday, and I managed to get quite a bit of gardening done. Still behind what I am normally doing in the garden, by now I usually have lots of plug plants on growing and some veg too. I get very tired after gardening these days, so I am sorry I haven't been visiting your blogs for a day or so. THANK YOU for all your wonderful comments on my last creation. I really do appreciate every one you make. Tonight I have a card I made for my granddaughter who has a pony and does mounted games for her local club. I saw this image on Pops Cards blog and thought to my self this would be great for my granddaughter. This was back last year and you no what us crafters are like we forget about something till it's too late to buy this wonderful stamp. So the wonderful Pops came to my rescue and lent me her stamp. THANK YOU soooooooooo much you are a great blog friend. The stamp can be found here. http://whimsystamps.com/index.php?main_page=product_info& cPath=19_5&products_id=1951 Now to my version of this fabulous image. I do hope I have done it as much justice as the fabulous one Pops did, as I am not as good as she is at colouring in the images.

Flowers from WOC. Special Day Ticket from Pink Gems. Spellbinders Dies and Di-namics Dies. Thank you again for taking the time out of your busy lives to pay me a visit. Good afternoon dear blog friends and visitors. I hope you all enjoying your Bank Holiday weekend and that the weather where you are is kinder than it is in KENT. They said we were going to have a fantastic weekend weather wise. Well I can tell it's very dull and overcast here, and it's tried to rain once or twice. Had to rush out and bring my washing in not long ago, and I hate leaving my craft desk when I'm creating. lol.
THANK YOU sooooooooooo much for your kind and wonderful comments left on my last card.
Yesterday I looked after my little great granddaughter for her mother as she works on a Friday, as her usual babysitter was not able to have her. When my granddaughter and my other great granddaughter dropped off Ellie her sister Faye who's Birthday it is on the 10th said to me are you making me a card with Mr Tumble on this year. Now how can I not make her what she wants. So this is my effort.

I thought for a while, what I would do this year, so it wasn't the same as last year, and this is what I came up with this morning. The bag card was made with 3 A4 size pieces of card. The papers inside are from the paper stack book I bought a few weeks ago. I edged round the bag with glitter ribbon, and also used some to strengthen the handle. I think I will make a plate stand for it so it stands up.
Thank you again for your visit. If your weather is not nice like mine is, then I hope you manage to do some crafting. I do hope you have a wonderful crafty day. Lots of crafty love. JENNY.

Tonight I have a Birthday card my daughter asked me to make for her granddaughter who is 4 on the 10th of May. She loves Tinkerbell the fairy and watches her video over and over, so I think she will be pleased with this card.

This is an A4 size card. The backing paper inside was made on the 3 D 2 Card Builder, from the front picture. The border round the front of the card was a new die I bought. It is an SB Flower Corner Die. The edging around the sentiment was from the Parisian Accents Die. Thank you again for sparing your precious time to visit me. I hope you all have a wonderful day tomorrow, and that the sun shines on you where ever you happen to live. Lots of crafty love. JENNY.
