BUTTERFLY CHALLENGE CARD

Hi and welcome to everyone that visits me.
Sorry I have been missing for a week, was feeling a bit down as my DH and I are no longer allowed
to drive, and as we have always had our own car,
this has been quite a blow for us.
Also had a few twinges in my top of my spine so
I thought I had better take things easy for a while.

My card today is for the butterfly challenge.
The challenge rules this fortnight are for one
layer and a butterfly.
Not really happy with what I have created, but
thought it's better than no entry.
I have used mica powders to colour this card.

This is a 6"x6" size card.

Thank you again for your visit and comments.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

I would like to enter this into the following
challenge.

No 10 One Layer.

What a beautiful card Jenny! Perfect for Mrs A's challenge - those mica powders are gorgeous!

I can understand it's a blow about no longer driving but, might seem easy for me to say, I bet there are also positives if you weigh them up. Sheesh, I sound like Pollyanna playing the 'Happy Game'!

Hugs, Di xx

Jenny. I feel for you both knowing you haven't got that freedom any more. Time to call in all those favours your children have asked you to take them too. Also sorry your spine is a bit sore. Beautiful card, with great colours. Hazel,x

Jenny this is fabulous. Just what I asked for. I love the colours and that butterfly is so gorgeous. Sorry to hear that you are no longer able to drive but just think of the savings. no more petrol, no more road tax or insurance, no more parking or speeding tickets either. Time to dust off the bus pass methinks! Thank you for fluttering by with this lovelt card. Hugs Mra A. (butterfly challenge).

Good evening Jenny,
I like your card, really pretty colours.
Sorry to hear that neither of you are allowed to drive.
I dread the thought of that we are 3 miles in either direction to get a bus ..... a long walk!!!
Hope the spine feels better soon
Hugs

Hi Jenny
Beautiful card. Those mica powders look divine.
Sorry about the driving. Gosh, you need a car with a bad back then they won't let you drive as you have a bad back? How nuts is that?
Time for the kids to do the taxi bit now.
Take care chuck.

Hi Jenny, I'm so sorry to read that you and Tony can no longer drive your car, it must be awful for you both, when you have relied on your own transport for so long and to have that ability taken away from you must be devastating. Let's hope you have some good news to cheer you up very soon.
On a much lighter note - your card is stunning, it is really magical and mystical, I was blown away by it !!
Huge hugs and lots and lots of love being sent to you, Jenny, from Patricia xx

So sorry to hear you are going to have to give up the car huni - it will take a bit of adjusting to sweetie. Can you kiddies/grand kids help the two of you at all?
Now this card - I thought it was a canvas - and I L.O.V.E. I.T. Funnily enough I have been using that stamp the last couple of days and now you have inspired me to go and have a play with it again! I hope you have a very lovely weekend Karen x

I just love this with all the different shimmery colours. So sorry you've been feeling down, it must be hard to adjust to being without a car. xxx

Jenny, your card is lovely and I am happy that you shared your card. As for the driving. Not being able to drive is really serious for we people slightly over 25....I hope you adjust easily and find this transition not too painful. speaking of pain....best on the spine. I hope it is feeling better and soon. Hang in there.....

Sorry to hear you have to give up the car Jenny . . . what a blow. Mind you, they are sooo expensive to run now . . . I sincerely hope there's some public transport close by for you. And now you can "treat" yourself to having your shopping delivered! xxx

Beautiful card . . . very magical. xxx
