BUTTERFLY AND SNIPPETS CHALLENGE CARD

Hi and welcome to my part of blog land all my
craft loving friends, and visitors.
Thank you so much for your visit, and the wonderful comments you make.
Your visit and comments make posting so worthwhile, and I love to get your feed back on
what I create.

Been looking after my Grandson, and Granddaughter today as it's half term week.
Gran was asked to do some baking with them,
so my 7 year old Granddaughter made a chocolate
frosted cake, and her brother Dylan who is nearly
11years old made a Lemon Drizzle his fave cake.
Sorry I forgot to take photos, silly me, but they
both turned out great.

Well on to my card.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
Sorry I can't remember the name of the embossing folder I used, as I can't find the packaging.
I think it was a Craftwell one though.
I cut holes around my debossed side, and threaded ribbon through it.
The butterfly is a Spellbinders one.
I added some Cosmic Shimmer White Glue Dots
around the edge, and in the middle too.

Thank you again for your visit, and time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

I would like to enter this into the following
challenges.

What a gorgeous card, everything about it spells luxury. And don't you wish they would print the names on embossing folders (and dies)? I'm sure many of us store them without the packaging, if only because they take up less space that way.
I've got one of the grandchildren here on Friday so I'm sure we'll be doing some baking, although crafting with me is her favourite thing to do, especially since I introduced her to shrink plastic.

Gorgeous Jenny! I love the vibrant pink with the white, lovely combo. Wonderful idea with stitching ribbon around that frame, must have been hard to do, but it was worth it! Just stunning! hugs :)

Oh this really is beautiful Jenny! I love how you added the ribbon round the edge - very clever touch.

I write the names of embossing folders on them, using a permanent marker pen, never keep the packaging - as Jane says it takes up space. Over time it does fade a bit with use but then I just go over it again.

Hugs

What a great idea to threadle the ribbon around the embossed square which of course then picks up the trellis work. Love the pink colour and finished off to your high standard as usual.
I don't suppose there is any cake left. No thought not!! thankyou for fluttering by my 1st anniversary challenge. Hugs Mrs A.

What fun to have some little cooks in the kitchen with you to bake up some treats! I am loving all the wonderful things you've done on this bright card. Love these cheery colors, and the lattice in the center really grabs the eye. Ditto that metallic look of the butterfly, but the lacing steals the show I think. Inspired design detail. Nice touch to have the ef carry out that same look as the cutout lattice of the center focal piece too. Beautiful. TFS & Hugs.
