SISTER BIRTHDAY CARD

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.
I do hope you all had a wonderful
Christmas, and a Very Happy New Year to you all.

Sorry I have been away so long, but a lot has happened since I last posted.
On my return from seeing my sisters in Wales my hubby told me he had suffered a Mini Stroke a couple of days before my return.
He is okay now, but had to have a op to clear a blockage in the artery in his neck.
So things have been very hectic as he was in Kent and Canterbury Hospital which is quite a drive from where I live, and it is just a 2 lane A road to reach it, plus it was flooded in places with all this rain.

My sister coping well and living each day as it comes.
My other sister visits her everyday, as does her family.
My only problem is I don't think I will get back to see her because of my hubbies health issues.

So on a lighter note this is a card I made for my other sister's Birthday.
Sorry it came a bit dark, but she loved it.

This is a 8"x8" size card which I cut to this shape.
I glued some embossed dark brown pearlised card to the shape.
The leaf detail was cut out on my ScaNcut.
I added some pearl  flower beads to the edges.

Thank you for your visit and time.
Lots of crafty love. JENNY.

Hi Jenny,

Such a gorgeous card, not dark at all, very elegant. So sorry to hear of all your troubles, you are not having a good start to the year but how thoughtful of your hubby, after all he was going through he did not tell you until you came back from visiting your sister, he knew you had enough to worry about. I do hope he is okay and do try and see your sister as much as you can. My MIL had a mini stroke last year and was told it was because she did not drink enough water, she never drunk any!!! My thoughts and prayers are with you, I do hope things get better.

Love & Hugs

Hi Jenny
So lovely to have you back but my goodness you're having a time of it.
How selfless of Hubby to keep his illness from you under the circumstances.
Beautiful card with all those lovely pearls for your sister.
I hope that Hubby recovers swiftly so that your mind is at rest and that you can get to visit with your dear sister again soon.
Take care.

Oh my Jenny.... I really do feel for you.... so, so sorry that hubby is unwell now too. My late dad had artery unblocked in neck... it took him a while to get over the op, but he was so much better afterwards - it gave him a new lease of life for many, many years ... I really hope it is the same for your hubby. I hope you get to visit your sister again.
Your card is so classy and elegant... love those pearl embellies! :-)
Big hugs, Sue B xx
