NEFERTITI

Good afternoon dear blog friends and visitors.
I do hope you are all having a great weekend.
The weather here today started beautiful and sunny, but now it is dull and overcast at the moment.

THANK YOU SOOOOOOOO much for your
wonderful comments.
I very much appreciate everyone ,that you take
the time out of your busy lives to make on my work.

Today I have a card I made a couple of years
ago and have never shown on my blog.

No inside as I made this before I started to
photograph the insides.
It was mad for my step daughter who very
much loves anything Egyptian.
I have used SB Dies and the Nefertiti is a
topper I bought from C and C a long time ago.

Thank you again for your visit and time.
I hope you are all managing to slot some craft
into your weekend.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

What a gorgeous card Jenny. My eldest daughter also loves Egyptian and her dining room is mostly that. Thank you so much for the lovely comments.

Gorgeous card Jenny: Tom and visited Egypt 20 years ago, we really 'roughed' it and did all the pyramids, tombs and museums..we were with the last group to visit King Tut's tomb before they closed it for many years and it was incredible. The most amazing and adventurous holiday ever, during which we made some friends we are still in touch with today. Carole Z X

Hello Jenny what a lovely card, love the topper and the dies are beautiful.
I love Egyptian things too and we went to Egypt a few years ago for Alistairs 60th, cruised the Nile and watched the sunset at the 3rd Cataract in the hotel where Agatha Christie wrote Death on the Nile, it was magical, the whole holiday was out of this world. If you ever get the chance to go you should.

Take care, hugs Kate x

Hi Jenny, A really lovely card, I bet your step-daughter was thrilled to bits with it.
What a let-down this weather, starts off early morning really lovely, then goes downhill at a rate of knots. I did manage to get lots of gardening done today though, will know about it tomorrow, when the back starts complaining ha ha. Have a lovely weekend.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

This is lovely Jenny. I'm sure your step daughter loved it! Reminds me of a holiday in Egypt many moons ago and we bought a picture painted on papyrus. Never got round to getting it framed and it is probably languishing in a cupboard somewhere! I remember it as being black and gold - not matching my decor at all! We've all done these things on holiday I guess. Love and hugs from Christine xx

Jenny, I'm back again because when I commented, I totally forgot to say...it was when we visited Egypt that Tom started calling me '8th Wonder', he never calls me anything else now and that's where I got '8th Wonder Art' from! And I saw Christine's comment about the papyrus - same here, I have no idea where ours is either!! Carole Z X
