WEDDING CARD AND BAG

Hi and welcome to my blog all my craft loving
friends, and visitors.
I do hope you are having a great weekend, and
all is well in your neck of the woods.
As you know I have problems with my eyes,
and have a great deal of difficulty seeing things
that are small, and cutting out, and colouring now.
So my my DH has bought me a Bother ScanNCut for Christmas, from C & C yesterday, so we spent all day tiding and re-arranging my craft room to house it, when it arrives.
Got rid of lots of unwanted items that were cluttering up my craft room, and took the doors
off a wall cupboard to give me more room.
I will need to buy a new desk to put it on, but
we thought we would wait till it arrives to see
how big a desk I need, as no where had the
specks of the size of it.
I am really excited, and what a very lucky girl
am I.
So on to my wedding card and bag.
When I made my last one I had an order for
another one, but they wanted chocolate brown
and burnt orange on it, and I thought it was a bit
of strange a colour combo till the penny dropped
and I realized that it was the day before
Halloween.
So here it is and she was very pleased with it.

This is a 8"x8" size card and bag to fit.
I made the bag out of 2 A3 PMD white card.
I would have used cream, but I didn't have that
in the A3 card, so I went with white.
I managed to find some lovely chocolate brown
and burnt orange pearilised card at my local craft
shop luckily.
The daisies are from the Spellbinders Anemone
Die, and the center is from the Sue Wilson Die
Finishing Touches Rose Die.
I used some snippets to stamp my sentiment on,
and mount it on to a snippets die cut.
This was inked with potting soil archival ink,
but it looks gold in the picture.

Thank you for your visit, time, and wonderful
comments you make, as I really appreciate them.
Lots of crafty love.

I would like to enter this into the following
challenges.

Morning Jenny, You lucky, lucky, girlie getting the Brother Scan 'n Cut from Tony for Christmas, I was saying to Graham yesterday that when we have some money I would like one, and he checked it out and said I could get one on the Flexipay option, but I am now ummming and aaahing over my decision haha (I still have the Cricut Create and the Gypsy, still in their box, so I think I had better try selling those before I get something else !!!! ). I hate making decisions hahahaha. Enjoy yours when it arrives, won't be long !!
Your Wedding card and bag are absolutely gorgeous, lovely burnt umber colours, very autumnal, no wonder they loved them.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

Hi Jenny
What a cheerful wedding card. Lovely embellishments as usual.
You are a lucky girlie. Mr D kindly offered to buy one a few months ago (bless him, anything to get out of proper shopping lol) but I don't think I could justify the space for it against how often I would use it at the moment.
Look forward to seeing what you create with yours. . . . .you may change my mind lol!
Best wishes.

Hi Jenny, super makes. Like you, I would have thought the colour combination rather odd for a wedding card but it is just right for a Halloween wedding and they are definitely striking. What a dear hubby you have and what a help the Scan & Cut will be for you. Well done on your win from C&C - how timely was that :) Hugs, Elizabeth xx
