BUTTERFLY CHALLENGE NO 119

Hi, and welcome to all my very talented, and craft loving friends.

I seem to be up to my eyes lately with family Birthday cards as it's my little Great Grandson Ewan's Birthday on Monday, and I haven't finished his card yet, and I also make one for my Daughter to give him.
Then on Tuesday it's my Daughter's fiance's Birthday too, and yes I haven't made his card yet too, but a couple of days ago I made my Butterfly Challenge one, and that was naughty of me as I should have been concentrating on the family ones first, but I do love a challenge, and the Butterfly one was a challenge this time around.

So here is my card I made.

Now the Butterfly Challenge this fortnight is the letter C, and this year there is also a shape card as one of the 7 elements.
So this time around it was centre stepper design, Mrs A always gives you lovely tutorials on her card shapes, but I am hopeless with measuring as I can't see the ruler measurements with my eye problems so a friend of mine cut me this one on her ScanNcut, and lent me the candi as I haven't any.

I think I may have filled all 7 elements again this time.

As I used a few snippets on my card I would also like to join the
Pixies Snippets Playground with this .

Thank you so much for your visit, and precious time.
I will try and get around to commenting soon.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

Z FOLD.......BIRTHDAY CARD

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.

Still a wet, dull, and very cold weekend here in my part of Kent.

I suppose I am lucky I don't live in the North of the Country as some have snow.
We did think about moving to Scotland years ago as we love it there, but thought it would be too much of a journey for our large family to visit.
My Great Grandad on my Dad's side was born in Scotland so it does hold a special place in heart.

Now I do like to try something new every now, and then, and thought I haven't made a Z Fold card yet.
So as my DIL Birthday is looming this is my version of a Z Fold Card.

2 different views of this card .
I made the card 7.5" in Height, and 14" in width out an A3 piece of card.
Did my folds at 4", 3", which left a base card of  7" when folded.
Then I matted it with CE Blush card.
Finally I did a Matt layer of paper from The Paper Boutique Blooming Lovely paper pad which was a C&C club gift.
I cut out some of the roses and decoupaged them, and added some pearls.
Put a border of butterflies cut out of H/D Rose Gold Mirri card.
Made a pocket for a tag with Happy Birthday on.
I just so happened to have the right colour ribbon too.

Thank you so much for your visit, and precious time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

GRANDDUAGHTER'S BIRTHDAY CARD

Hi and welcome to all my craft loving friends, and visitors.

I do hope you are having a lovely weekend.

When I went to see John Lockwood demoing in November last year my Daughter bought me his media plates while there, well with all that was going on before Christmas, and being ill I had no time to play with them.
This I rectified this week, and made my Granddaughter's card with them.
I hope you like my effort as I only have old pigment inks, and not the izinks yet.

This is a tent style card I made.
The size is 7.5"x6.5".
I used my oval media plate to make the centre panel, and then heat embossed it with silver pearl embossing powder.
I used the Crafts Too Mariposa cut, and embossing folder, and ran my Versa Color blue pigment ink over the embossed part, and then used my silver pearl embossing powder, and heat embossed it.
I then cut fussy cut around the edges of the embossing folder design.
Next I sprayed the whole of the embossing  folder design with Crafters Companion Sparkle Pearl Diamond spray.
I then added some die cut butterflies which I cut out in white, and used the blue pigment ink, and embossing powder on.
This I also did to the flowers.

Thank you so much for your wonderful comments they are very much appreciated.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.
