BUTTERFLY CHALLENGE 57.......Y IS FOR YEARS AND OR YELLOW

Hi and welcome to all my craft loving friends, and visitors.
Today is the start of another
and the theme this time around is Y for years and or yellow.
So as I had something made up in yellow I thought I would enter it, but I don't have any of the years part on it.
It's another one of my tissue boxes which I have been making for the stall I am doing at my daughter's works fund raising event.

These are so easy to make.
For the base it takes 3 A4 sheets of card.
I buy my tissue boxes from the supermarket starting with T, and they measure just under 5" tall, and 4" one side, and 4 and half inches the other side.
I cut down 2 A4 sheets of card to 5" and then I score at half an inch, 4 " and 9 and half inches on my Hougie board.
You cut off the rest that is left over, and glue together.
The lid is slightly over 6" by slightly over 6 and half  inches, and you score one inch around all sides, and this makes the lid.
Don't forget to make your aperture before you glue the sides of the lid as I have done that a few times. LOL.
Then it's ready to decorate how you like.

Thank you so much for your visit, and time as I do know time is very precious to all of us.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

HUBBIES BIRTHDAY CARD

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.
It was my DH Birthday last Tuesday, and he has a mobility scooter because he can't walk too far these days.
So when I saw this image at Doctor Digi's I just had to have it.
Now this looks nothing like my DH, but he does wear glasses quite similar, and sometimes forgets to put his shoes on so I thought the slippers part was appropriate.
By the way he loved it thank goodness.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
I coloured the digi image in with Promarkers, but started to run out of the navy while colouring the trousers.
So they are a bit patchy.
When I had finished colouring my image I photographed it, and made the paper to match with my 3D Decoupage CD from Card Creations Plus.
I also added glossy accents to the glasses.

Thank you for your visit, and time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

RUDOLF CHALLENGE...JUNE 2016

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.

Sending big hugs to those of you in need of a hug this morning, as I know a few friends that are in need of this.

Today I am posting my Rudolf Challenge card.
Now I thought I couldn't enter this month as I am one of Scrappymo's design team this year, but Mo let me know I can enter this month, and not from next month when I start.
So here is what I am entering this month.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
The image is from Squeeze Cards Christmas Cottage Delights CD.
I matted and layered the image, and then added some suede ribbon to the side with wooden snowflakes on top.
The sentiment is a stamp from LOTV, and is embossed with Sea Foam White embossing powder which I have had for years.

Thank you so much for your visit, and the wonderful comments you make.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

OLDIE FOR FRIDAY AND..... SHOWCASE OF A COUPLE OF NECKLACES

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.
Well I can't believe it's Friday again already, and time to share and older creation with ERIKA HERE.
This is all just for fun but a delightful way of showing some of your older work.
So here is mine for this week, and it's card I made for my Son a few years ago as computers are very much a part of his work.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
The image is a Mo Manning one coloured with Promarkers.

Now onto some necklaces my sister made me recently.

My sister is so talented with her jewellery making, and to think she never touched a needle and thread till she started making jewellery about 5 years ago.

Thank you for your visit, and time.

MOVING ALONG WITH THE TIMES......................DESIGN TEAM CARD

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.
Today starts a new challenge theme at
Our host this time around is the lovely Beckkie, and she has chosen the theme A New Baby.
So here is my Design Team card.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
This was a card kit from craftUprint.
It just wasn't an 8" design so I added the border of the lace, and roses.
I just fell in love with that wonderful image of that baby.
I cut out the lovely elements of the dummy and the baby bits around the card , and then decoupaged them.

Thank you so much for your visit, and time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

SNIPPETS CARD

Hi and welcome to all my craft loving friends, and visitors.

It was my DH 77th Birthday yesterday so I am so sorry I didn't get time to visit most of you as we were out ,most of the day.

Today I have snippets make, and something quite different for me.
I have been admiring the lovely inking and scene work on a few blogs I visit, and thought I would treat myself to the Inkylicious Ink Duster starter kit.
So here is my very first effort, all done on snippets card, and so I can join the playmates in the snippets playground with this as I haven't been able to join in for a few weeks now.

This is a 5"x7" size card.
I was quite pleased with my first effort not perfect, but I thought I would show you.
Can't wait to play some more.

Thank you so much for your visit, and time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

GARDEN THEME BIRTHDAY CARD

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.
Thank you so much for your visit.

I spotted the Allsorts challenge theme this week is the garden so I made this card to enter the challenge.

This is a 6"x6" size card.
The image is from the Joanna Sheen's book of
 Sylvie Ashton's  images.
I loved this image as it reminded me of my childhood and our garden.
I edged white card with Brilliance Pearlescent Ice Blue Ink.
Couldn't get the right colour for the inside, with my photo it is the same as the outside of the card.

Thank you again for your visit, and time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

GREAT GRANDDAUGHTER'S BIRTHDAY CARD

Hi and welcome to all my craft loving friends, and visitors.
Thank you so much for your visit, and time.
I really do appreciate your visit and comments.

Today I have a card I made for my Great Granddaughter's 7th Birthday.
Remember I told you she does gymnastics and running so this is the design I came up with.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
I found the image of the trainers on the internet, and made the card to match the colours.
The glitter card I made by spraying glue on it and then adding glitter after I die cut it.
I also made my the backing paper yet again with the picture of the trainers, and the Card Creations Plus 3D2 CD.

Thank you again for your visit.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

OLDIE FOR FRIDAY

Hi and welcome to all very talented friends, and visitors.
Thank you so much for your visit, and time.
I very much appreciate all your wonderful comments on my work.

My Daughter works for a charity that looks after clients with learning difficulties, and they are having a fund raising event in August so I am steadily trying to make things to sell on one f their stalls to help.
So if I'm not about much you know the reason why, but I will try to keep up as much as I can.

So onto today, and it's been a few weeks since I joined ERIKA HERE
with an Oldie for Friday.
It's all just for fun, but a delightful way to show your newer followers some of your older work.
So here is mine this week.

This is an A5 size card.
I used a Hunkydory image, and card stock that came free with their magazine a few years ago.
I added a a doily, and a few Spellbinders Parisian Die Cuts around my sentiment.
The stick pin I made.

Thank you again for your visit.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

BUTTERFLY CHALLENGE NO 56 ........GUEST DESIGNER O....FOR OVAL AND OR OLIVE

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.

I was lucky enough to win the
BUTTERFLY CHALLENGE
again recently, and was asked by Mrs A to be the Guest Designer for this challenge.
Out of the letters of the alphabet left I chose the letter O and Mrs A gave me the colour Olive, and Oval to design a creation.
So here is what I came up with a rocker card, and a oval aperture card.

Now this colour set me a great challenge as I didn't have any Olive colour card, so I made up the colour with Crafters Companion Aqua Water Colour Pen, and sprayed it with Creative Expressions Phill Martin's Old Gold Cosmic Shimmer Mister.
The oval butterfly card, and the tag  came in my lovely goody bag provided by Mrs A for my recent win.
The flowers, and the foliage are a Tattered Lace Die that came free with a purchase.
The second card I made with some lovely die cuts a dear blog friend sent me.

Thank you so much for your visit, and time.
I do hope you can join us in this wonderful challenge.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

A4 WEDDING CARD AND BOX

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.
Thank you so much for your visit, and time.
I really do appreciate your lovely comments on my work.
Well you know I said  on the weekend I was working on some wedding cards and boxes.
Here is the A4 size I made.

This is a A4 size card and box I made to fit.
The wedding couple I found on the internet, and printed onto Ivory Iridescent pearlised card.
When printed it came out as a grey line so I used Memento London Fog Ink to do my stamping so it tied in with it.
Made DL cards to go inside, and stamped them with London Fog Ink.
So all the staff could sign them.

Thank you again for your visit.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

DAUGHTER BIRTHDAY CARD

Hi and welcome to all my craft loving friends, and visitors.

Sorry I have been missing again, but it was half term last week, and Nanny to the rescue with child minding duties again.
I do love to look after them as we have such a great time, and a lot of baking was done yet again.
On the weekend I had a couple of rush orders for wedding cards, and boxes from my daughter for her work colleagues to give to their staff members who are getting married.

So onto my card today it was made for my little Great Granddaughter who   loves to run, and do gymnastics.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
The image is a pre-coloured one from Polkadoodles.
I just added the grass with Promarkers.
I made the background paper yet again with my 3D decoupage CD from the image.
I also added some glitter to her hair toggles, and trainers, but you can't see that very well.

Thank you so much for your visit, and time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

REMINDER OF MOVING ALONG WITH THE TIMES CHALLENGE..................AN AGE RELATED SENTIMENT

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.

We are half way through my theme at
MOVING ALONG WITH THE TIMES.
So I thought I would post another age related sentiment card to remind you about the challenge.
This is one my daughter asked me to make for all the staff to sign for a colleagues 40th Birthday.

This is a 8"x8" size card and box I made to fit.
The shoes and handbag image are from the craftsUprint web site.
Th bag and shoes are decoupaged  so I have shown a side image of the card.
I just added a few of my own tweaked designs to it, as they wanted everyone to sign it.
The little cards inside are 4"x4".

Thank you for your visit, and time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.
