40th BIRTHDAY CARD

Hi, and welcome to all my very talented, and craft loving friends.

Also welcome to anyone who just pops by to look at my work.

I now have a black and blue little toe because I caught it in the supermarket trolley this week, and my did I see stars when I did it.
My Daughter said do you want to go to the hospital, but I think it's only sprained, and feeling slightly better now.
Still hobbling a little though.

Today I have a card I made for a colleague at my Daughter's works.
So hence the inside with lots of post cards for them all to sign.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
The papers, and the image are all Hunkydory, and also the postcards I made out the Hunkydory little book.
Ran out of the yellow card so I had to do a verse tag with a snippet of cream card.
Butterflies made with a die I won on the Butterfly Challenge just drew around the die and cut out a blank base for the butterfly, and added some stamens for the antenna.

Thank you so much for your visit, and precious time.
I always appreciate every visit, and wonderful comment.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges.

This is lovely Jenny. The image is great and the sunny colours make it really stand out. Sorry I've not been around much of late. I'm being a very bad blogger but we have a lot going on at the moment. It will be back to normal eventually but goodness knows when! Ooh, I feel for you with your toe. I caught the sole of my sandal on the patio and hurt a couple of toes. Luckily it is still sandal weather because when I tried to put shoes on it was very painful. Hope you are both well otherwise. Love and hugs Christine xx

Youch! That sounds painful Jenny, hope it doesn't take too long to heal!
Your card is beautiful...love the design with the little cards for individual messages, what a great idea. I remember the days of trying to squeeze in a message to a colleague when too many others had got to the card first!
Have a lovely weekend...stay away from spiteful trollies ...and rest that toe!

Why is it toe injuries hurt so bad! They are sensitive little toes for sure and I'm so sorry yours is painful. I hope you're on the mend now. This is so beautiful. I love how you did the layers on the front with the dies. That is so clever and I hope to use that technique on a card. Thanks for sharing that. The inside is so perfect for people to sign the little cards and tags. Very thoughtful.

Such pretty colours on this beautiful card and what a brilliant idea to pop the cards on the clever inside. I hope your toe doesn't cause you too much trouble, good job it wasn't a finger otherwise your crafting would be hampered.

What a super idea on the inside with all the tags Jenny, I will certainly remember that for the next 'work' Birthday or leaving card I need to make. And the outside is just so pretty with the focal image, floral corners and little Butterflies.

Thank you so much for joining in with our 'Flowers all Over' theme at Allsorts, it certainly fits the theme a treat.

Oh poor you!! I can just imagine how painful that was Jenny, I hope the pain eases soon.

Ouch Jenny!!!! I sure hope your toe is only sprained and not broken. I have broken many toes over the years and it's not fun and it takes forever to heal. They really don't do anything for broken toes except maybe tape them. So take care of that toe my friend! Your card is stunning! I love the bright colors and the beautiful image. The image and papers are just beautiful, the black matting really makes it all pop. You do make stunning project Jenny! Hugs, Brenda

Ouchies for that sore toe! Hope it heals very quickly for you. I bet you did see stars indeed! It's a lovely card (and I feel quite proud that I guessed "Hunky Dory" at my first look at this beauty. Also have gotten pretty good at spotting LOTV as well! Always such destinctive and beautiful images). Love the frames and the golden touches on the layers, and that wonderful floral DP in the background. I'm sure your requestor was so delighted to see what you'd created, and anybody would love to have this one to commemorate a Big 40! Well done, and good luck with the healing! TFS & Hugs
