BUTTERFLY AND SNIPPETS CHALLENGE CARD

Hi and welcome to my part of blog land all my
craft loving friends, and visitors.
Thank you so much for your visit, and the wonderful comments you make.
Your visit and comments make posting so worthwhile, and I love to get your feed back on
what I create.

Been looking after my Grandson, and Granddaughter today as it's half term week.
Gran was asked to do some baking with them,
so my 7 year old Granddaughter made a chocolate
frosted cake, and her brother Dylan who is nearly
11years old made a Lemon Drizzle his fave cake.
Sorry I forgot to take photos, silly me, but they
both turned out great.

Well on to my card.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
Sorry I can't remember the name of the embossing folder I used, as I can't find the packaging.
I think it was a Craftwell one though.
I cut holes around my debossed side, and threaded ribbon through it.
The butterfly is a Spellbinders one.
I added some Cosmic Shimmer White Glue Dots
around the edge, and in the middle too.

Thank you again for your visit, and time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

Hi and welcome to my blog for the 2nd time today, all my craft loving friends, and visitors.
I know this is unusual for me, twice in one day,
but I needed to get this card posted so I can join the Snippets Playground Challenge before Miss
Di, and Parsnip close the gates.

As I stated earlier thank you to my newest followers for choosing to follow me.
Just in case you didn't see my earlier post.

Well I suddenly had an idea for this card last
night, and thought yes an ideal way to use up
my snippets of card left over from previous
makes.
So here it is you may need sunglasses as it's
bright. lol.

This is a 7"x7" size card.
I cut out all the Zig Zag coloured snippets card
with my ScanNcut machine.
Then I glued it to the front of the card.
This card was made with nearly all snippets
except for the main yellow card inside.
So I'm off to the playground to join in the fun.

Thank you for your visit, and time.
I very much appreciate it.

ANNIVERSARY CARD IN PINK AND KRAFT CARD

Hi and welcome to my blog all my very talented
friends, and visitors.
Thank you for all your get well wishes for my
Grandson, who is now much better.

We had singing practice at my place yesterday,
and we are out performing tomorrow afternoon.
We sent another yearly cheque for £500 to
The Dame Vera Lynn charity for children with
Cerebral Palsy recently.
A good £400 pounds down on last years donation,
as we haven't had as many bookings, last year.
Lets hope this year is a little better, but then
money is tight in most places now.

Yesterday was my eldest sister's Wedding Anniversary, and they have been married for
55 years now, so this is the card I made them.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
I used the Sue Wilson Embossing Folder Heart
Lattice.
The lovely heart and the doves was cut out on
my ScanNcut.
The corners were also cut on the ScanNcut so
this made this card a very quick one to make.

Thank you so much for your visit, time, and the
wonderful comments you make.
I very much appreciate everyone you make.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

SON'S BICYCLE BIRTHDAY CARD

Hi and welcome to my part of blog land, all my
very talented friends, and visitors.
Well it's the weekend again, and I do hope the
weather is being kind to you all.

I had to rush off to my Son's yesterday as my
grandson wasn't well and they needed me to look
after him while they were in work.
They normally take time off work to look after
their children, but as they had been off work
earlier that week not well themselves, so gran came to the rescue.

Now it was my other Son's Birthday on the 3rd
of this month, and as he is a keen bicycle fan,
and does at least 50 miles every Sunday morning
because he is an office executive, and loves to
cycle every weekend after being in a office most
of the week or flying off to some other country on
business.
So here is the card I thought up for him.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
The image is Hunkydory from their decoupage
book.
The backing paper was made out of a bicycle
image on my  Decoupage 2 CD.
The Son was cut out with my X Cut Dies, and
I  decided to do some doodling drawing on them.

Thank you for your visit, and the wonderful
comments you make, they are so much appreciated.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

BUTTERFLY CHALLENGE CARD

Hi and welcome to all my craft loving friends,
and visitors.
I would like to welcome my newest follower,
and thank you so much for choosing to follow
me, and I do hope to see you visit as often as
you can manage it.

I can't believe it's Thursday already just where
has most of this week gone.
I seemed to have slowed to a snails pace lately.

Well it's time to post a card for this fortnights
Butterfly Challenge, and I was asked by my
daughter to make her a 7 year anniversary card,
so I thought I would combine the both.
The challenge wants to see Valentines, and a
butterfly or butterflies on your card.
So here is my entry.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
I covered my white card with red card, as I
didn't have the right size red card.
Then I cut out the trellis design on my ScaNcut.
This design I downloaded from John Bloodworth's blog the gentlemen crafter, so thank you so much
John for creating this design.
I cut out the 7 on my Cricut machine, and added
some red stones, and some flocked hearts.

Thank you for your visit and time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

SUGAR SKULL BIRTHDAY CARD

Hi and welcome to my blog everyone that visits
me.
I do hope you all had a great weekend.
Thank you for all your really great comments.
I very much appreciate your time spent visiting
me, and all the wonderful encouraging comments
I get from you.
I know there are some very talented people out
there so your visit is very important to me.

It was my Grandson's 16th Birthday on Saturday,
so after a long hard decision I decided to make
this style card for him, as I had bought him
clothes with skulls on for Christmas.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
I made the backing paper out of the image, and
my Decoupage 2 CD.
The Grandson and Happy Birthday were cut
out on my ScanNcut.
I used the piece that usually goes in your snippets
box for my Grandson sentiment, and put Cosmic
Shimmer Glue in the recess, and then added some
Cosmic Shimmer Midnight Snow Glitter.
I also used lots of Snippets of card to back my
image, and sentiments, so I'm off to the Snippets
playground to join in the fun, and games.

Thank you kindly for your visit and time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

90th BIRTHDAY CARD AND BOX

Hi and welcome to my part of blog land, all my
craft loving friends, and visitors.
Well it's the weekend and I do hope the weather
where ever you may live is being kind to you.

I was contacted recently by a lady who wanted
me to make a 90th Birthday Card for her.
I said I would make her a card and box, and in payment for the card she could give a donation
to her favourite charity.
Her choice of charity was the Clic Sargent
Charity for people who suffer from Leukemia.
She has kindly donated £25.00 to that charity.
Part was payment for the card, and part was a
donation from herself.
So here is the card, and box.

This is a 8"x8" size card and box to fit.
I used a combination of my Cricut, ScanNcut,
and dies for this card and box.
The flowers, and the 90th was cut out on the
Cricut, and the today, corner, and borders
were cut on the ScanNcut.
The rest was cut out with dies.

Thank you so much for you visit, and wonderful
comments you make.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

BABY CARD AND BAG

Hi and welcome to my blog all my very talented
friends, and visitors.
Thank you so much for all the wonderful comments, and welcome back wishes.
I very much appreciate all of them.

I'm back today with a Baby Card and Bag my
granddaughter asked me to make for a friend.
This Baby was born on New Years Day, and was
rushed into St Thomas's Hospital for heart surgery.
Surgery was very successful, and she was home in
about 4 or 5 days after the op.
Just amazing what the surgeons can do now.

This a 8"x8" size card and bag to fit.
The papers and the image are from the Joanna
Sheen Baby Love CD.
I cut out the teddy border on my ScanNcut.
The pram on the bag is a Tattered Lace Die.
The bag is made from 2 sheets of A3 PMD card.

I used some snippets left over from the card on
the bag decoration, so I'm off to the snippets
playground to join in the fun.

Thank you for you visit, and precious time.

Sorry I have been missing again.
My DH is much better now and moving around quite well, at last.
Thank you for all your well wishes for him, and
I hope to be getting round to visiting all of you
today if time allows.

I have just remembered the Rudolf Challenge,
so here is my entry for this month.

This is a 6"x6" size card.
I covered my card with the First Edition Gilded
Winter paper pad.
I added and old Kanban Sentiment Topper to the
front of the card, and then I cut out some of the
design paper and decoupaged it.

Thank you for your visit and precious time.

GRANDDAUGHTERS BIRTHDAY CARD

Hi and welcome to my blog all my craft loving
friends, and visitors.
Sorry I have been missing again, but my DH is
suffering with a slipped disc very low in his spine,
and can't sit up or walk about without being in
extreme pain, so he has been in bed lying on his
left side for a week.
We thought it was his hip, but it turns out to be a
slipped disc they think.
Pain killing meds don't seem to be working either.
So you may not see a lot of me over the next few
weeks, although I am managing to craft a little,
and have lots of cards to show, as I have a few
Birthdays in January.
It's my youngest Granddaughters Birthday today,
and here is the card I made her, she is 7 today, and
loves the Rainbow Ponies.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
I embossed the purple card with a A4 Special
Touch Mask.
I cut out the doily on my ScanNcut.
I added lots of snippets of coloured card I had
used on other cards, so I'm off to join in the
playground with this.

Thank you for your visit and time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

I would like to enter this into the follwoing

OLDIE FOR FRIDAY

Hi and welcome to my blog, all my very talented
friends, and visitors.

Thank you for all your good wishes for my DH.

Well it's Friday and time to join Erika with a
Oldie for Friday.  HERE
Here is mine for this week, now I chose this
without looking at Erika's, for this week, and we
are both showing cards with Tartan on them.

This is a 8"x8" size card, one of the last I made
my Dad before he passed away.
The reason I used Tartan is that my great
grandfather was born in Scotland, and I thought
my Dad would be pleased to have Tartan on the
card.

Thank you for your visit, and time.
Lots of crafty love. JENNY.

BUTTERFLY CHALLENGE CARD

Hi and welcome to my part of blog land, all my
craft loving friends, and visitors.
I am sorry I have been missing again, but my DH
is having a lot of pain in his left hip, and as he is
usually my head cook and bottle washer, so I'm
having to do all the cooking and washing up jobs
again.
You don't realize how much more time that gives
you to craft and blog, until it's gone.
I have also had to go for my 3 yearly mammogram
again, and unluckily I had the same butcher of
a woman I had last time.
There are usually 2 woman in the mobile unit,
and I just had to have the one that treats you like
a piece of meat again this time.
Well enough of my moaning, but I just had to
mention the woman in the breast screening unit,
as she makes me so mad.
Now on to my Butterfly Challenge card.

This is a five and half inch square card.
The paper was printed off a CD I bought for just
a £1 at Creative Crafting World called Tumble
Tizzy Pastimes Collection.
The image is a Hunkydory one called Fairy
Sweethearts.
I used a Sue Wilson Die, cut up, and put around
the edge of the heart for the decorative edge.
The bottom lace wahsi sort of tape my sister
sent me as a present, and I cut out the thank you
on the scanNcut.

Thank you for your visit, precious time, and the
wonderful comments you make.
I very much appreciate each one.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

LARGE SNOWFLAKE CARD

Hi and welcome to my blog all my craft loving
friends, and visitors.
Well we are moving into January quite nicely now.

Thank you for all your good wishes and comments.
I very much appreciate every one.

Sorry I have another Christmas card to show you,
as I have made a few while not blogging.
I live in a bungalow in a sheltered housing complex, and there is a block of flats on this
complex which houses about 36 retired residents.
So this is the card I made for everyone that lives there.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
The papers are Hobbycraft again, and I cut out
the large snowflake with my scanNcut.
I must admit the scanNcut does make short work
of lots of projects, and this card was made very
quickly in less than an hour.
I used some snippets of red card for the background of the Merry Christmas and the
inside stars, so I'm off to join in the antics of the
playground after a absence to a few weeks.
As this paper was a never before used one, I am
joining Darnell in her Nimbus Challenge too.

Thank you for your visit and precious time.

HEALTHY, WEALTHY, AND WONDERFUL

Hi and welcome to my blog all my very lovely friends, and visitors.
I am so sorry I have been missing for nearly a
month, but I had family staying, and my DH and
I have not been well.
Hubster is still a bit poorly, and still has a nagging
cough which won't allow him to sleep.
We had a nice quite Christmas, and I did manage
to make a few Christmas cards in that I needed
for certain people.
So here is one of them.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
The paper is from Hobbycraft, and I cut the
swirly center piece with the ScanNcut.
The paper is a new one I have never used before
so I can join Darnell and her Nimbus challenge.

Thank you for all your good wishes, and some
of you said you missed me so that was music

BABY SHOWER CARD

Hi and welcome to my blog all my very talented
craft loving friends, and visitors.
Well here we are again on Sunday, and the days are marching on to Christmas.
I don't know about you but I am getting very little
time to craft and comment at the mo.
Just so much to do especially with 12 grandchildren, and 2 little great grandchildren to buy for, and also trying to get fitter, after my
slipped disk episode.

This morning I spent at my Son's house helping
my 10 year old grandson make a lemon drizzle
cake, while his parents, and his sister went to my
Son's work pantomime.
Dylan thinks he is to cool to go to pantomimes
now.
I must say he made an excellent job of the lemon
drizzle cake, and he enjoys cooking.
He is also making a Christmas Cake at school.

So on to my Baby Shower card, got a phone call
on Thursday to ask if I could make one for
Sunday as my granddaughter was going to a Baby Shower.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
I made all the items used on this card on the
Brother ScanNCut.
I downloaded the trellis design from John Bloodworth the Gentlman Crafter's blog so
thank  you very much for the files John.
The inside was a mask I bought ages ago, and I
scanned it in and it cut it out beautifully, and so
much time saved there.

Thank you for your visit, time, and the wonderful comments you make.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

OLDIE FOR FRIDAY.

Hi and welcome to my blog all my craft loving
friends, and visitors.

Well would you believe it's Friday again, and
time to share an Oldie for Friday with Erika  HERE
Would love you to join in with this fab idea, there
are no prizes, but it's all worth it, just to see some
of your older creations.
Well here is mine this is an idea I got from
Patricia of http://www.patricia-summerhousecrafts.blogspot.co.uk/ as she made
some beauties of these.

This is made out of 2 A4 pieces of card, or 1 A3.
It would look very nice if you had double sided
card also.
Thank you so much for your visit, and the wonderful comments you make.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

CREAM AND BROWN BIRTHDAY CARD

Hi and welcome to my blog all my very talented
friends, and visitors.
I can't believe it's Wednesday already, time seems to be speeding on to Christmas.

Well my granddaughter took me to see Paddington
at the cinema yesterday, and I really enjoyed it.
I do like a film that makes you feel happy watching it.

Today I have a Birthday card for my eldest sister,
my  2 sisters are just 4 days apart from each others
Birthdays, one is on the 4th and my eldest sister is
on the 8th.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
The flowers I used are from and old jumper,
and don't they look pretty.
I used one of my stick pins I made too, and
finished it of with some Cosmic Shimmer Gold
PVA glue dots.

Thank you for your visit, time, and the wonderful
comments you make.
Lots of crafty love. JENNY.

SUE WILSON'S HIGH AND LOW TECHNIQUE

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends,
and visitors.

Thank you for your visit, time, and wonderful comments you make on my work.
I very much appreciate all of them.

Wow can you believe my blog has gone back to
normal all on it's own.
I am so pleased it has, as I was too scared to
touch anything in case of doing more damage.
Don't know if it was anything to do with blogger.
Well enough of my blog probs, here is a card
I made for my Sister's Birthday using the High,
and Low technique Sue Wilson has demoed on
her blog.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
I followed Sue's advice and used double sided
tape around the edges of my card, and then put
Creative Expressions Cosmic Shimmer polished
silk glitter turquoise on it.
Then I followed Sue's technique for the high and
low of the glitters on her Austrian Die.
The daisies are Tattered lace, and the leaves are
Sue Wilson's Finishing Touches Faux Quilled
Leaves.
I used up some snippets to cut out some of the
smaller die parts, so I'm off to join in the girls in
the playground.

Thank you for your visit, and a big thank you
also to those of you that offered me help.
Lots of crafty love. JENNY.

I would like to enter this into the following
