FAYE ON THE CHRISTMAS TREE

Hi and another good morning to my wonderful talented followers
and visitors.
I hope you had a brilliant day yesterday, and managed to
combine some craft into your day.
I heard on the grape vine that some of you had better weather.
The weather here was quite mild dry and some sunshine.
THANK YOU for all your wonderful comments.
I really do appreciate every one.
I went to a coffee morning yesterday in aid of the McMillan Nurses.
There were lots of yummy cakes tea and coffee.
I put on a stone just looking at them. lol.

My card today is one I have just finished.
I bought this image because the little girl on the tree was
called Faye and that is the name of my Great Granddaughter
so you can see why I had to buy the image.
Funnily enough the image is just like my little Faye.
I hope you like it.

Click on the photo to enlarge the picture.

Now inside view of the card.

I made this 8x8 card out of an A3 white card stock.
I matted it with blue card stock and some Christmas paper
inside.
The front I used white card with a Spellbinders Grand Labels
aperture cut out.
I then distressed it with Milled Lavender Distress Ink, and
stamped snowflakes with same ink.
I added my coloured image done with Promarkers.
Then I added some Venetian Accents cut up to the edges of
the aperture and corners.
I punched out some snowflakes in contrasting colours, and
finished it off with a big lace bow.
I have been asked how I do my bows, well I use the
Crafterscompanion Ultimate Pro purple case, and I follow
the instructions given by Sara on C and C when she
demonstrates it.
Basically you get a length of ribbon bring it round the pegs
cross it over in the front take it back round the back of the
pegs and do the same a third time.
This gives you a lovely big bow.
I hope that makes sense to you my description.
Thank you again for sparing the time to visit me and leave
your comments.
Have a wonderful crafty day everyone.
Lots of crafty love. JENNY.
I would like to enter this into the following challenges.

Faye will love the idea of a card named after her!! Lol! It's lovely - the blue, pink and lilac look really nice. I know what you mean about cakes - I just have to look at a cake or chocolate and I'm half a stone heavier!!!

Perfect card for Faye it is so pretty, love the colours.
Of course you had to buy the image...........funny how you get that feeling.
I have a few LOV images that remind me of the Boys, some I have only used once but they did what I wanted at the time.
I am off to a Coffee Morning for the same good cause this morning. I hope I can resist the Apple Tray Bake the kids made at school it is so good. Had two bits yesterday, at their concert.
Have a Great Day
