LAST YEARS CHRITMAS CARD FOR HUBBY

Hi and good morning to all my talented followers and visitors.
Well it's Sunday morning, I hope you all had a fab day yesterday,
and that you managed to slot some crafting into your day.
THANK YOU for all your wonderful comments on my cards.
I really do appreciate everyone that you make.
My card today is one I made for my hubby for Christmas last
year.
I know there isn't a lot of Christmas on it but my hubby loves
teddy bears and I thought the saying was so lovely, I had to use
it.
We both have a little banter with each other, I ask him what his
name is and he answers Fred Bear.
Another silly thing he does is roll his eyes round and round,
just like Nookie Bear used to.
I know this all sounds very silly to you but it's just a bit fun
between us, and keeps us cheerful and laughing.
Now we all need a good laugh at least once a day don't we.
Well enough of my babbling, I hope you like the card.

Click on the photo to enlarge the picture.

This card was made with an 8x8 size card.
Matted with mirri card and then card stock from Hunkydory.
The topper I used was also Hunkydory too.
I cut the husband on my Cricut Machine, no I didn't actually cut
him on the Cricut Machine, I mean the words. lol.
I then added some punched snowflakes and some gold pva
glue dots.
A quick and easy card to make.
Thank you again for your visit.
Have a wonderful crafty Sunday everyone.
Lots of crafty love. JENNY.

Every comment made makes me a very happy bunny.
I hope everyone has had nice weather.

My card today is one I made for my friend who helps me run
my Tuesday Club.
I hope you like it.

Click on the photo to enlarge your view.

The ingredients for this card is.
An 8x8 white shaped card blank.
Matted with apple green card stock, and some embossed
pearlised paper in white.
I used the Special Touch Mask Doily and embossed the design
and then cut out all the triangle shapes with a craft knife.
I glitter glued the doily, then I coloured the white daisy flower
with Peeled Paint Distress Ink, added a large square gem to the
center.
I cut out 2 smallish Spellbinders Labels 24 and cut them in half.
Then I added some Parisian Corners to the top.
Finished it off with some flat backed pearls and pearly glue dots.
I wish I hadn't used the peel off Birthday greeting now,  but you
are always wiser when looking back on a creation.
Thank you again for taking the time to visit my blog.
Have a wonderful crafty Saturday everyone.
I hope you get the time to slot some craft into your day.
Lots of crafty love. JENNY.

FAYE ON THE CHRISTMAS TREE

Hi and another good morning to my wonderful talented followers
and visitors.
I hope you had a brilliant day yesterday, and managed to
combine some craft into your day.
I heard on the grape vine that some of you had better weather.
The weather here was quite mild dry and some sunshine.
THANK YOU for all your wonderful comments.
I really do appreciate every one.
I went to a coffee morning yesterday in aid of the McMillan Nurses.
There were lots of yummy cakes tea and coffee.
I put on a stone just looking at them. lol.

My card today is one I have just finished.
I bought this image because the little girl on the tree was
called Faye and that is the name of my Great Granddaughter
so you can see why I had to buy the image.
Funnily enough the image is just like my little Faye.
I hope you like it.

Click on the photo to enlarge the picture.

Now inside view of the card.

I made this 8x8 card out of an A3 white card stock.
I matted it with blue card stock and some Christmas paper
inside.
The front I used white card with a Spellbinders Grand Labels
aperture cut out.
I then distressed it with Milled Lavender Distress Ink, and
stamped snowflakes with same ink.
I added my coloured image done with Promarkers.
Then I added some Venetian Accents cut up to the edges of
the aperture and corners.
I punched out some snowflakes in contrasting colours, and
finished it off with a big lace bow.
I have been asked how I do my bows, well I use the
Crafterscompanion Ultimate Pro purple case, and I follow
the instructions given by Sara on C and C when she
demonstrates it.
Basically you get a length of ribbon bring it round the pegs
cross it over in the front take it back round the back of the
pegs and do the same a third time.
This gives you a lovely big bow.
I hope that makes sense to you my description.
Thank you again for sparing the time to visit me and leave
your comments.
Have a wonderful crafty day everyone.

BLACK AND WHITE CARD

Hi and good morning to all my wonderful talented followers
and visitors.
I hope you all had a really great day yesterday, and managed
to combine some crafting in to your day.
I expect a lot of you did manage to craft with the dreadful
weather the whole of the country seems to be having, you can't
do much else.
So I suppose there is something good about bad weather.
I just feel so dreadfully sorry for those who get flooded out
in these bad weather times.
THANK YOU for all your wonderful comments and visits.
I really do appreciate every one that is made.

My card today is one I made for one of my older
granddaughters.

This one is a quick card but I think it's quite effective.
I started with an 8x8 shaped white card blank
Matted with black card and some black and white check card.
A little tip when I want to make the inside of the card the same
and I haven't got any more of the card. I photocopy the card on
my printer, and then I have a matching card or paper to go in
the inside. Sorry can't show the inside as I wrote on it before
I photographed it.
I made the flower out of a reel scolloped organza I bought
many moons ago from C and C.
I added a button to the center some black stone swags, some
white stones to the corners, and some little bows.
I hope you like it.

Now I thought I would show you a baby blanket a friend
asked me to make. I never go by a pattern I just make this
from my head.

Just thought you might like to see that I do like other crafting
as well as card making.
Well that's all for today folks.
Thank you again for your visit.
Have a wonderful crafty day everyone.
Lots of crafty love. JENNY.

TAG No 3

Hi and good morning dear blog friends and visitors.
Well it's Wednesday and we are half way through the week
already.
I hope you all had a good day yesterday.
I know the weather has been really awful for some, at least
the sun shone between the heavy showers here in Kent.
THANK YOU again for all your wonderful comments, and
taking the time to pay my blog a visit.
I very much appreciate every one that is made.
Well you know certain blog friends said that making tags can
become addictive well they were right, because here comes
No: 3 I hope you like it.
I was quite pleased with how this one turned out, but what do
you think.

Now a close up of the roses.

I made this tag with my Cricut Machine and red and cream
card stock.
I made my roses with the Spellbinders Rose Creations Die
and a metalic  looking paper I bought many moons ago from
C and C.
It does curl lovely where as some papers don't,  I'm not sure
what makes the difference, but you will know when the paper
you choose doesn't stay curled nicely.
Sometimes it can just be better to cut your losses and try
another one.
I added some red stones around the edges,  these were bought
from the pound shop.
Then I added some swirls from the Venetian Motif Die and
also some red foliage from foliage die.
Finished it off with some Glossy Accents to make it look like
rain drops on it.
Thank you again for you visit.
Have a wonderful crafty Wednesday everyone.
Lots of crafty love. JENNY.

dried it again.
I then stamped my image and coloured it in with Promarkers.

ELLIE'S FIRST BIRTHDAY CARD

Hi and good morning to all my talented followers and visitors.
Well it's Sunday, and I know it can be quite a busy day for
most of us.
So to have you visit my blog and leave a comment is
very much appreciated.
THANK YOU for all the lovely comments made so far on
my humble creations.
I love to visit your blogs, and look at your lovely creations
too.
We all inspire each other and that's how it should be, one big
happy crafting family.
My card today is one I made for my great granddaughter's
first Birthday.
She loves the Octonauts so I came up with this idea.
I hope you like it.
Just a word of caution you can not sell anything with this
type of thing on it, because of copyright, but you can do
this type of thing if you are just giving it to your family.

This card was made out an A3 pieces of card made into a A4
card.
Matted and layered with pink, holographic, and turquoise card
I downloaded a picture off the internet.
I added a Happy Birthday and her name and age with my
Cricut Machine.
I then made it look as if it was underwater with glitter glue
and glossy accents for the water droplets.

Now I would like to show you a beautiful Begonia that
I had in my garden this year.
I grew this form a tuba.

I think it is a wonderful flower so I thought you too might like
to see it.
Thank you again for your precious time spent visiting my
blog.
Have a wonderful crafty Sunday.
Lots of crafty love. JENNY.

PINK PARISIAN BORDER CARD

Hi and good morning to all my talented followers and visitors.
I hope you had a really fab day yesterday.
I would like to welcome my new follower Dr Sonia from
Bangalore, India.
If you look at my blog comments for yesterday you will
find her blog address. Try and pay her a visit as she has some
amazing tutorials on there.
She is very keen to recycle lots of our every day items, that
I think is wonderful idea. Less waste in our bins has got to
be a really good thing.
THANK YOU sooooooo much for all your wonderful
comments on my tag No2 yesterday.
I really do appreciate every one, that is made.

My card for today is one inspired by Sue Wilson.
I'm not sure when she made a similar one but the border
idea was on one of her cards.

The ingredients for this.
An A5 card made for A4 card stock in Centura Snow White
pearl card.
Matted with pink pearlised card stock.
I then cut 4 Spellbinders Parisian Borders and layered them.
I cut out a Parisian Motif with center part cut out for the
sentiment.
I added a very large bow and recycled a few of the cut outs,
and last of all I added some Cosmic Pearly PVA glue dots.
A quick and simple card to make but very effective all the
same.
What do you think.
Thank you again for visiting my blog each day.
Have a wonderful crafty Saturday everyone.

TAG NO 2

Hi and good morning to all my talented blog friends and visitors.
I hope you all had a wonderful day yesterday, and you managed
to fit in some crafting.
THANK YOU sooooooo much for all your lovely comments.
I really do appreciate everyone of them.
A small message for Patricia Howarth did you get my email
about the boxes, if you didn't, send me an email and I will
resend it.
My fellow blog buddy Carole Z left a comment yesterday
saying that tags can get addictive. Well she was right.
Because today we have No 2.
I hope you like it.

I made the tag on my Cricut Machine again this time using
the shadow button to create the layer.
I embossed the cream card layer with a Special Touch Mask
although you can't see much of it as I have covered most of it.
I then wrapped some lovely gold ribbon from my stash round
the bottom, I also used the same ribbon through the top of the
tag.
I cut a Spellbinders Venetian Motifs Die in black card.
I used kitchen baking parchment to stop the card sticking
in the die.
When this came out of the die it looked so pretty I decided to
use it on top.
I used some of the Venetian swirls too.
I added a rose I had made quite a while ago out of a very
old book, with the Rose Creations Die.
I sprayed the rose with Crafterscompanion gold glitter spray.
Well that's it for today I hope you like my No 2 tag.
Thank you again for visiting and commenting on my blog.
Your opinions mean the world to me.

now is the time to make one.
You see I talk to myself all the time. Some may say it's
not good to talk to ones self, but hey it only answers what
I want to hear. lol.
Well in any rate hear is my first ever tag, not too sure about
it.
What do you think ?

I cut a couple of tags on my Cricut Machine.
Glued them together to make it strdy.
Distressed the whole tag with Tea Dye Distress Ink.

Postal stamps designed by Sam Poole.
Then I added some rub ons  and buttons.
I tried to age the ribbon but I don't think it was successful,
do you.
Thank you again for every comment.
I hope you all have a fab Thursday.

daughter in law.
It was her 40th Birthday in January but I couldn't give this
to her on her Birthday as she and my Son were going to
Florida on holiday for her 40th.
So I had to make them both small cards to take with them,

Birthday could I.

I really do appreciate every comment made.
It is very nice of you to spare your precious time to visit me.
I was on Planet Suzy's blog last night and she had a lovely
photo of a wood pigeon in her bird bath, so I got to thinking.
I know some say that thinking is bad for you. lol.
In any rate I took a picture of a Dragon Fly in my gareden
about a year ago.
It perched on my plastic greenhouse for such a long time so

in similar paper form the CD.
The tulip stamp is from Stamps by Chloe at
www.chloescreativecards.co.uk
I then used my Grand Label Die for the aperture.
I also cut a butterfly out of my Spellbinders Die and
added some stones.
A large messy bow with seam binding ribbon that I dyed
with the Tattered Rose ink,  and of course my sentiment in
the middle  of the Lacy Circle Die and the Parisian Motifs

what did turn out.
Here it is.

Now the inside.

The ingredients for this.

Hello to all my craft loving friends and visitors.
I hope you all had a really good Tuesday, and the weather
was kind to you.
THANK YOU so much for stopping by and leaving such
heart warming comments.
As I have said before I really do appreciate every one.
Well we had a wonderful Teddy Bears Picnic at my club.
Thank you so much for telling me your Teddy Bears names.
I just thought it would be a little fun.
I have a Teddy Bear Poem I found on the internet to share
with you.
              Teddy Bear and Good Friends.
              by Jon Wimer.
A Teddy Bear is a furry friend

WEDDING CAKE BOX

Hello and good morning to all my craft loving friends and
visitors.
Well it's Tuesday I hope everyone had a fab Monday and
you all had lovely weather.
I know it was raining in South Wales when telephoned my
Dad yesterday morning.
THANK YOU for visiting my blog and leaving such lovely
comments.
I really do appreciate every one.
I don't know if I have mentioned that I help run a Tuesday
Afternoon Ladies Club.
Nearly all my ladies that attend are widows, and they love
to just get out of their houses for a cuppa and a chat.
Today we thought we would have a Teddy Bears Picnic.
We are all taking a picnic and our favourite Teddy.
We all have to name our Teddy if it doesn't have one and
then we will do a little guessing game to see who owns
which Teddy with that particular name.
We are also having a pass the parcel game which has questions
in it about famous Teddy Bears.
There is a little bar of chocolate with each question and the
final layer will have a lovely Teddy Bear for the winner.
So I was thinking, I know some might say that's bad for you. lol.
Have you got a Teddy Bear you love and whats it's name.
I would be delighted to read about yours.
Mine is called curly because he has curly fur instead of
straight fur.
Right I have waffled on enough, today I thought I would show
you what I have been working on this weekend.

and here is a close up of the inside.
Those of you that know my work from Lindyloos blog know
I made one of these very similar for my granddaughters
wedding in July.
This one is slightly different.
Any one who wants to look at the first one can go to
Robyn's Fetish  Challenge on my archive
if they want to compare them.
The ingredients for this is.
3D crafting Keepsake kit.
I have added some lovely lace that looks like icing to the
cake in the box and some flower sequins from my stash.
also some pearly hearts too.
I hope you like it.
Thank you again for visiting and leaving your comments.
Have a wonderful crafty day everyone.
Lots of crafty love. JENNY.
I would like to enter this into
