50th BIRTHDAY CARD

Hello and good morning to all my followers and visitors.
It's Friday already and the weekends nearly here.
I hope everyone has had a fab week and the weather has been
kind to all of you.
THANK YOU for dropping by and leaving such wonderful
comments.
I very much appreciate each and every one.
Did you all spot the differences yesterday.
Well there was a slight mistake, I posted the wrong picture for
the first picture, and I didn't notice till I had finished my post,
that evening and I was too tired by then to rectify it. So Sorry.
What happened was I took the first photo to send to the client
before finishing the card, and got them mixed up.
So there were 3 differences really.
1. The double scolloped oval.
2  The single scolloped oval.
3. The embossed background on the ovals, were different.
I hope you liked my little game. Just thought it would interest
you all.
Now to my card for today, no games this time, honest.
This one I made for my daughter's friends Birthday.

Ingredients for this.
An 8x8 scolloped card blank.
Matted with silver mirri and then pink pearlised  card from
my card stock.
I cut out an aperture of Spellbinders Parisian Motifs before
applying it to my mirrir.
I then put the motif back in the aperture. I cut out a 50 on my
Cricut Machine.
I added some Parisain corners and the accents down one side.
Some pearly swirls and I stamped the little flowers with
Creative Expression stamps called Ivy which has some lovely
what I would call a Christmas rose stamps included.
I coloured them in with mica powder and spritzed them with
a spray varnish to stop the mica powder coming off.
Finished the card with a bow and a pearly button.
Oh and I nearly forgot I punched flower holes in the scolloped
parts of the card.
The butterflies are from the Memory Box Moonlight Butterfly
die.
Well that's all for today folks, I hope you liked my creation
today.
Thank you again for taking the time to leave you comments.
Have a wonderful crafty day everyone.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

Morning Jenny, A lovely fresh and pretty card today. I'm sure the recipient was delighted when she received this card because it is beautiful. I love how you have used the embossing part of the dies together with the dies themselves. You have made the 'messy bow' beautifully and the pearl button finishes it off perfectly. I notice you have used your cricut for the 50 numnbers, I bought a cricut machine and gypsy years ago when C&C had it on special offer and I'm ashamed to say that it is still in the box it came in and has never yet seen the light of day, to be honest I was thinking of selling it, but I think I may get it out of mothballs now ha ha !! I hope you have a lovely weekend. Lots of love from Patricia xx

Afternoon Jenny, what a pretty card! The embossed background and the soft colours are perfect. I seem to only use my Cricut when I need numbers and letters! I have the first one they brought out, which they didn't even give a fancy name :( and I also have the gypsy, which I do find useful when I have a design idea...it's all on my desk but at the moment the blade needs replacing..that's my excuse! Lots of hugs, Carole Z xx

Hi Jenny - you make such pretty cards - and this is no exception. You go into such detail, and I love the butterfly! I have just bought the Cricut - after loads of soul searching - however it hasn't been out of the box yet. I must use it - I must I must I must! Ooops are you convinced??

Hugs to you Sue P xxx
