SNIPPETS MAKES.

Hi and welcome to my blog all my craft loving
friends, and visitors.
May I welcome my newest follower, and thank you so much for your interest in my blog, and I do
hope you return when ever you have the time to
visit.

Sorry I have been missing for a few days, but as
it's half term, and my daughter is on holiday from
work, we have been spending a few days with my granddaughter, and my little great granddaughters.

So on to my snippets make, when I printed out
the toppers, and decoupage for the last card I
posted with the little girl in the snow, there was
a smaller version the sheet of paper, so here is
what I made with the left over pieces of card,
and my old Pandora Bag.

These cards are just under 5"x5".
I used some Cosmic Shimmer PVA glue dots
around the cards in white and plum glitter, and clear glitter on the umbrellas,  but it looks like red in the photo.

Thank you for your visit, time, and the wonderful
comments you make.
Lots of crafty love.
I would like to enter this into the following

RUDOLF DAY OCTOBER 2014

Hi and welcome to my blog all my friends, and
visitors.
Well I can't believe it's Rudolf Day again, just
where has the last month gone.
So now it's time to join Sarn HERE    with your
 Rudolf Day cards.
This challenge runs from the 25th to the end of
the month.
You need to make 2 Christmas cards to enter, so
come on and join in the fun, and then that's
another 2 off your Christmas list.
So here are mine.

These are 8"x8" size cards.
The red one was created with the Sue Wilson
Vintage Bauble Die, and the Austrian Collection
Tag from the Corner Border Tag Die.
I used Cosmic Iced Snow for the glitter background.
The 2nd one was a Pink Gem pre-coloured kit
which I decoupaged, and added Cosmic Shimmer
Iced snow, and Glacier Ice to the background.
I also used Polar White Flower Soft on the fur
on her boots, and some Cosmic White PVA glue
dots to the umbrella.

Thank you for you visit and time.
Lots of crafty love.

THROW BACK THURSDAY CHALLENGE 3

Hi and welcome to my blog, all my friends, and
visitors.

Well it's time again for the The Throw Back
Thursday Challenge.
This is the 3rd challenge, and as it's the last one before Halloween, so  I thought I would bring back one of my Halloween cards from last year.
If you would like to join in this fab challenge,
you can find the site by going to my sidebar,
where it says Throw Back Thursday, or
alternately there are details at the bottom of this
post.

This was a 5" x5" size card book.
I used lots of orange, purple, and black card.
Some of the Halloween stickers I won on
Bibiana's 2nd blog anniversary.
The Halloween calender is from Pink Gems,
and is a pre-coloured digi image.

Thank you for your time, and your wonderful comments you make.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

CHRISTMAS CARD IN PINK

Hi and welcome to my blog all my craft loving
friends, and visitors.
Thank your for your visit, and comments.
I very much appreciate them all.

I have been having a few lower back problems
for the last 3 days.
So I am so sorry if I haven't commented as much
as I should have.
I have been trying to rest it as much as possible, but on seeing a challenge that gives $4 for each card entered into the challenge, in aid of Breast
Cancer, how could I not make a card to go into
this fab challenge.
I have just made it too as the challenge closes at
6pm.
They wanted to see pink in their Christmas Cards
so here is my version.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
I embossed my card with the Sue Wilson
embossing folder Swirling Holly.
The sentiment is a digi pre- coloured image from
Pink Gems.
The little white poinsettias were made with a
die I won at the Snippets playground.
I used a double sided sticky sheet, and some
Cosmic Shimmer Glitter Jewels Glacier Ice on
them.
Now I used up lots of snippets for making the
poinsettias, leaves, and the pine bough die.
So I will trot off to the snippets playground with this.

Thank you again for your visit, and time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

BUTTERFLY CHALLENGE CARD

Hi and a very warm welcome to all my very
talented craft friends, and anyone who visits me.

I do hope you were not troubled too much with
the tale end of the hurricane from across the
pond.

Well I'm nearly late to join the Butterfly challenge
again, I seem to be getting later, and later in
joining this fab challenge, still as they say better late than never.
Mrs A would like to see a tag, or a tag on a card
for this fortnights challenge.
So here is my effort.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
The paper used was printed from a Joanna Sheen
CD Victorian Birthdays.
I covered my tag with the same paper, and used
lots of snippets on it.
The butterfly was a present from my dear blog
friend Flora, as she sent me some lovely die
cuts, in return for something I sent her.
I used some Cosmic Shimmer White PVA dots
round the edge.
So I will join the snippets playground, again with
this.

Thank you for your visit, time, and wonderful
comments you make on my efforts.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

TOO SWEET TO SPOOK

Hi and welcome to my blog all my craft loving
friends, and visitors.
I do hope you are all having a great weekend.
The weather here in East Kent yesterday was
glorious, and I do hope it was the same for you.

Now I joined the Pink Gems  e mail list and
every month they send you an e mail outlining
their offers for the month.
So while looking around their site I spotted
quite a few things I wanted.
So here is the result.
This was bought as a digi kit, and I just could
not buy it now could I, as it's soooooo! cute.
It's a pre-coloured digi kit, and I have decoupaged
Chloe.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
Now I say this was a digi kit, but the pumpkin
ticket was a stamp for 50 pence, and the cat
inside was also a stamp for 50 pence.
The pumpkin stamped around the edge inside
was one I won on Bibiana's blog last year when
she was celebrating her 2nd blog anniversary.
I used some snippets to mount my sentiment on,
so I'm off to collect the keys to the playground,
and join the other playmates.
If you fancy joining in just use up some of your
snippets and join us in the playground.
We love to welcome new playmates, and
Miss Di, and the lovely Parsnip keep us on
our best behaviour .

Thank you again for visit, time, and your wonderful comments.
Lots of crafty love. JENNY.

OLDIE FOR FRIDAY

Hi and welcome to my blog all my very talented
friends, and visitors.
Sorry I have been missing for a few days.
I have been making a commissioned wedding
card, and bag which I will show you once the
wedding has taken place.
I also had a phone call offering me a appointment
for my back, which I went to yesterday, and the
news is all good.
My body has done a wonderful job of healing
itself, and I won't need physio.

This is my Oldie for Friday, now Bibiana
mentioned on her blog that October is Breast
Awareness month so I thought I would bring
back this Oldie I created last year for the
Breast Awareness.
So if you would like to join Erika   HERE
in this wonderful challenge just for fun, please
join us.

This is my usual 8"x8" size  card.
I made the breast cancer ribbon out of card and
some sequins.

Thank you for your visit, time, and all the
wonderful comments you make.
Lots of crafty love. JENNY.

SNIPPETS BOX

Hi and welcome to my blog all my craft loving
friends , and visitors.
I forgot to say welcome to my newest follower
in my last post, so a big warm welcome her, a bit
late I know, but better late than never as the saying
goes.
Thank you for choosing to follow me, and I do
hope you can pop by as often as you can.

Thank you also to all my lovely friends who
continually support my work.

Well you know when I make my boxes for the
8" cards, I have this amount left over that makes
a lovely little box that would hold a brooch or
earrings.
So hear is one I made a while ago, and have
never shown.

Now this box board is white, so I coloured it
with Peacock DI.
The flower is made up from some old petals I
had hanging around.
The center piece is from a bracelet I bought at
Primark to take apart for such things as this and
bows.
The Leaves are coloured with Promarkers and
cut out with the Susan's garden Poinsettia Die.

Thank you again for your visit, and time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

FOOTBALL BOOK CARD AND BOX

Hi and welcome to my blog all my very talented
friends, and visitors.
I do hope you are enjoying your weekend, and
the weather is being kind to you all.

Thank you for your visit, and your wonderful
comments you make.
I very much appreciate every comment you make.

Today I have a card I was asked to make by
my sisters friend for her grandson's 18th
Birthday.
Sorry this is a bit picture heavy.

This is a 8"x8" size card and box to fit.
The football paper is from the Crafters
Companion CD Mens Collection, and is quite
an old cd.
Computer generated sentiment.
Number eighteen made from a numbers
template, and embossed with  M- Bossabilities
So Trendy.
I forgot to say my football boots, and football were snippets from another card, and I also mounted some of my photos onto some snippets too, so I'm off to play in the snippets playground
with this.

Thank you again for your visit and time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

OLDIE FOR FRIDAY

Hi and welcome to my blog all my craft loving
friends, and visitors.
Gosh I'm late today with my Oldie for Friday.
Well as it's Friday it's time to join Erika  HERE.
With your Oldie for Friday.
So come on, and join this fab idea of showing
your older creations.
So here is mine for this week.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
I think the card and owl images were from
Hunkydory.
I bought them at the NEC in March 2013.
Now you know the lovely bling owl on the left
I also bought those at the same time, and there
were about six on a piece of acetate, well after
making this card I can no longer find them.
I have hunted high and low for them, with no
luck so far, I bet where ever they are, they are
sat there laughing at me, and saying here I am.

Thank you for your visit, time and wonderful
comments you make on my work.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

2nd THROW BACK THURSDAY CHALLENGE CITRUS COLOUR CARD

Hi and welcome to my blog all my craft loving
friends, and visitors.
Well it's time to join Bibiana with her 2nd Throw
Back challenge.
This challenge runs fortnightly on a Thursday
to re-show your older creations, and you can
join in this wonderful challenge  HERE.

Here is mine for this fortnight, and it was first
posted HERE on the 17th of July 2013.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
I made this card for a Citrus Colour challenge.
So hence the very bright colours.
You may notice anyone that looks back on my
original post that my picture is better on this
post that's because I have learned to edit my
photos since then.

Thank you for your visit and time, and I do
hope you can join in this wonderful challenge,
and give Bibiana your support.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

VINTAGE CAMELLIA CARD

Hi and welcome to my blog all my very talented
friends, and visitors.
I do hope you are all feeling fine, and for those
that may be feeling poorly, I do hope you will
soon be felling A1 again, so big get well wishes
winging their way to you.

Thank you for your visit time, and wonderful
comments you make on my creations.

Today I have a card that I pondered on for a
while, it's been lying around my craft room
unfinished for a few weeks now, and I
eventually finished a couple of days ago.
Still not sure if I like it, that's why it's taken me
so long to finish.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
The paper is from a My Craft Studio CD.
I coloured my doilies with Antique Linen, and
Victorian Velvet DI, and then sprayed them
with a mixture of Mica powder, and water.
It doesn't show up in the photo well ,but it has
a lovely sparkle to it.
The Vintage Camellia's were made from a kit
I bought at the NEC in March, and can be
bought from the RIBBONBOX HERE.
The leaf shaped lace in the corner at the bottom
is also from the RIBBONBOX too.
The stone is actually a iridescent green sort of
black colour, but it shows up as blue in the photo.
The Mesh Ribbon in the top left corner is also
from the RIBBONBOX, and the center piece
I bought at the works.
I used some snippets up to mount my image on,
and that was from the Creative Crafting World
Walk in the Countryside CD.

Thank you again for your visit.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

BUTTERFLY CHALLENGE AND SNIPPETS CARD

Hi and welcome to my blog all my craft loving
friends, and visitors.

I do hope you are enjoying your weekend, and
the weather is being kind to you.
We have beautiful sunshine and blue skies, here
in the East of Kent, but it was a quite a  chilly
start to the morning.

I am feeling a lot better now, it must have been
some sort of bug I picked up, and I don't very
often suffer with those.
I also had a phone call from the hospital
offering me another appointment, and guess
what it was for Monday, so I had to decline it.
Just waiting for another one now.

I needed to make a card for the butterfly
challenge, and the theme this fortnight is
Autumn Butterflies, so here is my effort.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
The card and image used is a Hunkydory
Autumn Butterfly one from about 3 years ago.
The image came in 3 sections so I used
mounting foam on the center piece to raise it up,
but it doesn't show in the photo.
I cut out my butterflies and coloured them with
Rusty Hinge, Pine Needles, DI, and also
Archival Ink Potting Soil.
I added some gold stickles to them too.
I also cut out my leaves, with some snippets card,  and distress inked some, and used stickles and Cosmic Shimmer Iced Snow Glitter on them.
The inside corners were made from the left
over pieces of the front corners, and one I had
used before.

Thank you so much for your visit and the
wonderful comments you make.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

I would like to enter the following challenges.

SYMPATHY CARD

Hi and welcome to my blog all my craft loving
friends, and visitors.

Thank you kindly for your visit and your
precious time, as I know time is precious to
all of us.
I really appreciate your visit and the wonderful
comments you make.

Today I have a sympathy card made for my
uncle's family.

This is a 6"x6" size card.
I stamped my Creative Expressions Sayings
Stamp with Versa Mark clear embossing ink,
and then heat embossed it with Sea Foam White
Embossing powder.
I die cut my Sue Wilson Peace Die, and used
the edges around a snippets piece of white card.
I did the same to the stamped sentiment.
I added some stamped corners to the white card
with Faded Jeans DI.
I also stamped a pattern inside the card with the
same DI.

Thank you again for your time and visit.
I won't be around blogging on Monday as I'm
going to my uncle's funeral.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

I would like to enter this into the following
challenges.

Hi and welcome to my blog all my kind friends,

Oldie with Erika  HERE.
So come on join in a really fab way to show
some of your older posts.
Here is mine for today, and a Christmas card
I made for 2012.

This was a 8"x8" size card.
The papers were from the Desert Bloom Pad.
The Metallic Pearlised Card is Dovecraft.
The image is a pre-coloured one from the
Pink Gems website.
Other items on the card from my stash.

Thank you for your visit and time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.

SILVER WEDDING ANNIVERSARY CARD

Hi and welcome to my blog all my craft loving
friends, and visitors.
I would like to welcome my newest follower,
and thank you so much for choosing to follow me,
and I do hope you pop by as often as your time allows.

Sorry I have been AWOL for a few days.
Have been very busy making more cakes for
the Macmillan Coffee morning tomorrow, this
is my second round of making cakes, as last
week I made them for my daughter's works
coffee morning.
Phew I don't want to bake another cake for
a while now.
Standing and baking has aggravated my hips,
so I have been having a few probs there too.
I also have had a family bereavement, my
dear uncle and the last of my Dad's siblings
has passed away.
So I didn't feel much like blogging.

Today I have an Anniversary card I should
have posted yesterday, as it was a blog friends
25th Wedding Anniversary.
I think she has received it now hopefully.

This is a 8"x8" size card.
I embossed my card with the Teresa Collins
embossing folder Sophisticated.
The backing to my hearts is Indigo Blu Mica
Flakes Eton Mess
The Heart Die is Tonic.
The leaves are the Sue Wilson Faux Quilled
Leaves Die.
I made the organza flowers, again with my
heat gun.

I am off to the hospital tomorrow, about the
top of my spine, so we will see what's going
with it.
Thank you for you visit and your wonderful
comments.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.
